This long rant was brought to you by incompetent Popeyes employees. Came here on July 5th and I'm still thinking about how terrible the food and service we got was. The following is required for context. As usual the mobile app was not working for me, so I had to place my order at the window. Now I can get a little complicated at times and I understand keeping window times down, that's why I make it easier on everyone to make a mobile order and modify my items that way. I could not do that this time, so I pulled to the window and had my husband read off what I put in on the app. We were greeted cheerfully, but after he finished his order and went to say mine, I could tell there was an attitude in the workers voice. She was getting huffy and had a curt tone. I didn't appreciate that, and I knew then and there we wouldn't get what we asked for modification wise. I'm not sure how someone wanting extra sauce on your guys' already dry as hell chicken sandwich is so hard to do. Why on earth get an attitude with the customer for wanting something that you offer? I wish I had gotten her name, and everyone else who was working that shift that day because they deserve to be reprimanded. Literally the modifications were extra sauce on both sandwiches, no pickles (the only one they listened to), and there was mix up with wanting extra gravy on the mashed potatoes. I wasn't going back there and making them mad, who knows, with the particular staff that was there they would have jumped me just for asking for the FUCKING ITEM I PAID FOR. I said all this to say, please get better employees or train them not to let this customer stuff get to them (for whatever reason) and to just listen and do their jobs properly. They do NOT care AT ALL about their jobs or doing it correctly, they just show up do the absolute minimum and want a check for that. This is why I dread going to places with young staff honestly.
