Cook Out is usually a decent amount of fast food for the price, but I was definitely disappointed with the quality of this visit. I ordered a Jr. Tray (small burger) with a corn dog and onion rings. The burger was good, but the corn dog and onion rings were slightly on the cold side. My husband ordered a double burger with hushpuppies and fries. There were barely any fries in his tray. We also ordered two different milkshakes, but they gave us two of the same flavor. Service is typically quick, but this location is a nightmare trying to get in and out of from the traffic of the cars. They are building a new Cook Out across the street so hopefully that should help the flow of traffic better. I'd give Cook Out another shot because I know they've done better before. read more

The first time got a barbecue sandwich plate and they barbecue sandwich out, the second time she got a quesadilla plate with extra quesadilla and then we put one quesadilla in the plate and didn't put Cajun seasoning on her fries. I usually enjoy cookout. This is by far the rudest location I have EVER been to. They cut you off while ordering. When you drive up to the window to pick up your food the employees are vaping while they cook and take orders. You can see piles and piles of trash and debris all over the floor. (I understand back of house can get messy, I've been in the service industry for over 15 years, but there is an absolute limit between it being "rush time messy" and absolutely filthy. Then to make it all better the employees find themselves getting irritated with the guest when the employee made their order incorrect. Someone from corporate definitely needs to take a look at how this location operates. read more

I had multiple things - burger, cajun chicken, and spicy chicken, it was all good. Chili on burger was good. Hush puppy sides were good, quesadilla sides were good. LOVE their BBQ. I am a big fan of the BBQ I used to get in Lexington. This BBQ is almost as good, but not the same. It chopped, very lean, not overly sauced. Note: I CANNOT tolerate Texas Pete at all. I can't eat if it has that sauce. The slaw is a good condiment for the BBQ. BUT THE HUSH PUPPIES CAN BE EXQUISITE. I really like this local fast food chain. The hamburgers are great, and come with lots of combinations of toppings. I like the Carolina style with chili and slaw. It makes a messy burger but vey tasty. They also have very good iced tea and 40 flavors of shakes. The prices are very reasonable and the service is very quick. read more

Cook Out is awesome. This place is no different. Their BBQ is solid, their burgers are great, and their milkshakes are my absolute favorite. I'm always excited when July and August roll around, because then they bring out the watermelon milkshakes. It may not sound appealing, but trust me, it is the bomb. Especially on a hot summer day. Another perk about Cook Out is you can mix your milkshake flavors. It's genius. And delicious. Just writing about it makes me want to go get some now. Not bad...you get your money's worth! We ordered the combo or whatever they call it, 2 hotdogs, 2 sides, and a drink. The hotdogs are good, the onion rings are not good and the French fries are mushy and not crispy. We also ordered a walnut shake and it was so good and full of walnuts. So I completely understand the aggravation when people come to the drive thru and are joking and messing around while they order. Well tonight me and my friend came to cookout and we had two separate orders... we placed the first order and we were waiting for the total. My friend began talking to me and we started laughing. The lady responded and said "can you order correctly ma'am" and I was stunned.
