I been ordering from Bishops for awhile. The food was great until recently. We got hoagies & they were terrible. NO meat all bun and lettuce. Bishops pizza is very close to wear I live and I love their pizza. However, the biggest draw back is the cleanliness of the store and cooking area. While their pizzas are good, it really bothers me that the store seems filthy. One of the reasons I stopped ordering from them. I considered recently but food they have multiple health department violations. I'm very fortunate I or my family never had stomach issues from their food, but after reading the list of violations stopped me from going back. Their menu is typical pizza store with bread and cheese sticks, fried breaded mushrooms and such. I give their pizza 5 stars, the rest of the menu 2 - 3 stars and -5 for cleanliness and decor. read more

First time trying Bishops but my father in law said it's the best in town and has been going there for years. I ordered a large for pickup. When I got there 25 mins later it was waiting for us. The pie was a size larger than most national chain pizza shops. Julia at the front was wonderful and provided plates and napkins. Parking around back is open but I pulled up along the side and had no issues. The pizza was really good, just the right amount of sauce and a little sweet which we loved! I'm totally a fan now and would recommend to anyone!! read more

Ordered from here recently and it was an awful experience. On the phone I was told it would be 30 minutes. It took over an hour. No big deal if the food was good, but it was not at all. The inside is one of the dirtiest pizza spots I've ever seen. On top of that, not a single worker was wearing a mask inside. Actually, one was wearing it on his chin the whole time. This was back during the height of covid. The pizza was slimy and had way to much cheese. The crust had little flavor and no texture at all because of how soggy the pizza was. read more

This was one of my favorite spots growing up. Moved to north hills and came out to west mifflin just for the nostalgia. We went in to pay and 5 staff members of the 5 were not wearing masks. After paying I threw it away. I called after so not to avoid an in person confrontation to ask for clarification of the policy and they said those at register had to wear them. Two individuals were running register unmasked just during my time paying. Called and the man who answer laughed when I asked for clarification. Sad that a place of food service can't do their part to stop this horrible time for restaurant. industry. Places like this ruin it for everyone. Reporting to health department. First things first, no masks to be seen here upon walking in to pick up our food. Gross. The pizza was super doughy and undercooked. The breadsticks had little to no garlic flavor. We opted for the cheesy breadsticks which seem to just be cold cheese thrown on top of plain dough. Interesting technique. The saving grace were the fried pickles spears. They were yummy! read more

This is one of the better pizza joints in this area. Therefore, we order from here from time to time, but to be honest I normally go for something like a sandwich or a hoagie. The menu is quite varied, so it can be a mixed bag depending on what you order. Today we ordered the following for pickup the island burger, fried pickles, buffalo ranch wings, and the reuben with fries. The burger is good but could use a little more sauce. Next, the fried pickles are great! Then, the buffalo ranch wings are slightly above average. Lastly, the reuben is very good, but I really wish they griddled the bread. The fries are very lackluster...frozen, not fresh-cut, soggy run-of-the-mill fries. We will be back and will likely switch it up a bit to try something different. read more

I ordered a large pizza with toppings and a large "white" pizza. When I got it home found I had the large with toppings, as ordered, and a large PLAIN pizza. Disappointing, but Oh Well. I had also ordered two dozen "Jumbo" wings. They should reword their menu and replace "Jumbo" with "Miniature" wings. Each "wing" was one segment of a wing -- some not too bad, but some were literally tiny. We have been going there for years but will have to reconsider in the future. read more

Ordered take out from this Bishops and walked in and no employees or customers were wearing masks..... I know this business is owned by a local and I am trying to support business like this but I can't rightly do this and put others in our community at risk by supporting a business that doesn't abide by the state's and CDC's rules. I don't understand how the business is okay with doing this and deliberately putting public safe and health in danger. If you care about your own, your family's and the public's health I would avoid this business at all costs. When I asked about this they are apparently exempt? Why exactly?-I know this isn't true. Love the pizza but their attitude stinks! Sometimes they deliver and other times they swear that they don't deliver to your area. Who wants to order pizza not knowing if they've made up their mind as to where they'll deliver? And don't dare find something in your food! On my last order, one of the cheese covered sausages on my pizza had a strange color to it. I started to ignore it, but it was just too odd a color to be natural. I picked at the sausage and uncovered a tiny blue piece of plastic. It wasn't imbedded deep into the pizza so I figured the chances of more plastic being in my pizza was slim. Still, I felt the need to call and tell them. When I called and told them, the girl on the phone immediately put me on hold and then came back and said that they didn't have anything resembling blue plastic that could've gotten into my pizza. She then offered me a credit for a future purchase but was kind of rude about it. She also did not specify what kind of credit I would be getting and rushed me off of the phone. I'll never be back! I don't like their attitude. The staff at Bishop's pizza (West Mifflin) need serious work when it comes to customer service! Not worth the aggravation! read more

I don't know why I am leaving this review, because if there is anything I learned from this place is that they don't care. Bad reviews? No matter!...money in the bank and the business will go on. Even still, here we go... My family orders from the N. Versailles Bishop's (same owners as West Mifflin) often- probably too often than I'd like to admit. We order for pick up because they are so close. Our order is correct 75% of the time, but when it's wrong...no one cares. From toppings on food that were asked not to be included, to cheese sticks fried so long that the cheese is gone....I get the same response from the employees "meh". Today, I ordered a hamburger and onion rings with a side of ranch. I received an onion ring hamburger no ranch. When I called- and btw I was definitely frustrated- the lady said something along the lines of "Well it wasn't on your slip"....essentially she was saying "tough luck, better luck next time!" So, I responded...Whose fault is that? I spoke my order in the phone and you wrote it down wrong!? What can I do about that, come and write the order for you? and she said "If you'd like". Given that we have been a regular customer for the past 7 or so years, an "I'm sorry that sucks" would have been nice. No more...sorry Gary but your abrasive and incompetent employees are going to be your greatest downfall. read more

They DO have good food. However, every time I order the order is messed up. Today I called to make sure I wasn't charged for a mixup bc 3 orders were messed up. They didn't even offer to bring out a new order or fix it. Then when I actually started to eat my food I realized the Sandwhich was incorrect. I called back and they basically said i was lying and I had to argue with them to refund the Sandwhich at least. I normally don't complain about incorrect orders but it happens every time with this place and they didn't even try to fix it. read more
