The quality and consistency of this location is just gone. The past couple of times we have ordered, the food has just not been good. I specifically ask for the wings to be cooked extra crispy every time and they never are anymore. No one likes soggy wings. This was never a problem in the past. If they were cooked correctly they always stayed crispy during the 5min drive home. For a place that prides itself on Buffalo...these wings have become a sad representation. Tonight our LG NY style pepperoni and onion pizza was sparsely topped and extremely greasy. Barely any pepperoni and minimal onion. They used to load their pizzas up with toppings. What gives Bisonte? The quality of the food, especially the wings, used to justify the cost...now that that's gone...why go back? read more

I come here about once a month and I usually order a sub (Italian), some fries, and a fountain drink. The food is always ready in a good amount of time (about 15 minutes) and the service is always great. The ambiance is on par with what I expect from a pizza restaurant. read more

Absolutely horrible. This place lacks consistency. I went there about six months ago and the pizza was decent. But just left the restaurant tonight with two pizzas that cannot be eaten. Sauce that looks and tastes like ketchup, and a thick slab of cheese that just runs off a crust which is essentially raw dough. I've seen better pizzas come out of a Chuck E. Cheese. Even worse, the restaurant is not clean. Don't expect this business will last. read more

Five Stars, believe it! I got the large meat lovers, wow, out of this world good. Me and my family have tried so many different pizza joints in Charlotte, Fort Mill and Rock Hill. This place comes out of top and it's not even close! Trust every good review you've read, this place is legit. All the meats are fresh and the spices are savory and the crust is just amazing. You might pay a little more, the 16 inch (large) was $30 bucks but I think it's more than worth it. Be sure you allow at least 40 minutes on game day, they are very busy. They have a real nice patio when the weather is nice. Plenty of free parking. read more

First time from Bisonte Pizza . Ordered the Meat Lovers 17 inch. The Pepperoni was great and there was a lot of it but just a sprinkling of a little sausage - I didn't see any other meat . Ordered a Caesar salad that was weak at best. Had a few tomatoes in it and 4 big croutons? I would try a pizza again but not 29.99 for the Meat Lovers without all meat ! My dining mate and I decided to try the New York style pizza and wings which this restaurant is famous for as is the other 2 Bisonte Pizza Co also located in other parts of Charlotte, The staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant clean and bright with outside seating, The menu features N.Y and Buffalo style pizza as well as wings, salads, hot and cold subs ,fresh cut fries, mozzarella sticks, a variety of specialty pizzas , wings and sauces. One may dine in, carry out, get delivery plus catering offered. We liked the thin crust New York style pizza which was the closest we tasted to New York pizza. The wings we tried were very good but some tasted a bit over fried, wings were slathered with our selection of a tasty bourbon bbq sauce and a side of blue cheese and ranch dressing. I had asked where the celery sticks were and the manager said the cost of celery was to pricey and the quality of celery poor so they stopped using celery in the restaurants. Somehow I didn't see the reason of dipping in the the well sauced wings into another sauce. We would return to try the Buffalo style pizza ( a thicker crust ). Note: no prices on the paper glossy menu, one needs to scan the code reader on the menu to their cell phone. However the staff was able to verbally tell us the prices of what we wanted. read more

Chicken wings are as close to authentic as you'll get without being in Buffalo. Perfectly cooked. Pizza is also delicious and typical as you'll find in Western NY. You won't be disappointed if you seek a taste of Buffalo. read more

Oh man! Probably the best pizza we've had in Charlotte. We really liked Farley's but since they closed, we have been looking for a new place to order from in Ballantyne area. We like the New York style crust. Had a pepperoni and sauteed onion with the garlic crust. Really nice. I just wish they had their own delivery service. Not a fan of Door Dash as they don't have the insulated pizza carrier and it usually get here just warm, not hot. Also DD is expensive. Next time I'll pick it up myself. read more

Hate giving bad scores when others really like a place, but this was not good pizza. Ordered a large NY style pepperoni pizza to watch some football and ended up having to heat up some leftovers. Let's start with the good, pepperoni is fantastic, curled up into little cups of salty goodness. The crust is awful, if it's not premade or frozen, it definitely tastes that way; bland, no texture or chew at all. The sauce, again tastes like something straight of of a can very bland, needed garlic and oregano at home to give it any taste at all. Had it not been for the pepperoni this would've been Little Caesar's bad. Sorry guys this is not NY pizza. Lorenzo's down the block is 10X better for the same price and size. read more

If there were zero stars that would be the correct rating. Had the Meat Lovers and a Hawaiian pizza. Both were absolutely nasty. Just a pile of dough. They were so bad we didn't need a box, we just left it all behind (have never done that). The Hawaiian had cherries which sounded interesting. Not a good idea. Tasted like a "fruit cocktail" pizza topping. Disgusting. Ambiance was just hole in the wall pizza place. Absolutely worst pizza we have had in Charlotte (out of about 15 different places.) After years of dining on the delicious wings and pizza of uptown...the Ballantyne location opened :) I still go to the uptown location when I'm on that side of town for meetings, but it's nice to have a location by home! Today was our first visit to this location, recently voted the best pizza in Charlotte. I'm not sure how it won the #1 spot. We got the Bisonte Special. It was fine, nothing that knocked my socks off. Wolfman or Hawthorne's makes a much better NYC style pizza, and yes, we did live in NY for 7 years. What was really disappointing was the service. The first thing we said walking in was "Our first time here". We proceeded to order two "small" pizzas and a small antipasto salad. Seeing the $60+ bill we put the breaks on. There were no prices on the printed menu. The "small" 13" pizza was plenty big enough to feed two people and we told them we dining in. Someone should have advised us of the size of the pie and the antipasto as it was big enough for four people as well. Average pizza and below average service. Go to Wolfman's or Hawthorn's. Seriously the worst pizza ever ! Taste like they buy the pizza frozen and heat it. We got a to go order be sure to check your order before you leave they didn't sauce our wings . Mozzarella sticks taste like Farm rich and the fries were soggy and pathetic. Nothing there taste like authentic New York or Buffalo style pizza or wings. Expensive and bland pizza. We went here after reading all the reviews and had high hopes. The wings are good, the ranch is good but they aren't any better than wings you could get at DBs in the same plaza. The pizza was very expensive, no prices on the menu either which is annoying. Got a pepperoni pizza with the garlic crust. Tasted no garlic whatsoever. Tried the Bisonte classic which was fine. We all felt the pizza was just not flavorful. Couldn't figure out if it's the dough or the sauce. Wouldn't go back unfortunately. read more

Ordered three large pizzas that I had to pick up because they had no delivery driver on a Saturday. After arriving 30 minutes later when they said my order would be ready, I waited another 15 minutes only for them to tell me they "lost" my ticket.
