    Honey Pie 5/5

Service was good and the pizza was fast!! Super good pizza. Had the honey pie which is pepperoni and hot honey. It was perfectly cooked and flavorful. No complaints here!

This truck comes near my building for lunch and I was hesitant to try them until someone in the office said they were really good. I wanted to try the hot honey but I don't like pepperoni so I was advised to try the honey on the veggie pizza and it was very good and cooks really fast in the brick oven. Definitely will be trying them again.

When a legitimate stone wood-fired oven is attached to their food truck, you know it's going to be "fire" (in a delicious way of course)! The truck is great, the pizza is great and the cannolis and garlic knots (not pictured) are also great! This family-owned business can come to you to cater an event, and if you want to catch where they're at, they post their weekly agenda with locations each week on Instagram, so be sure to follow them! Their service is exceptional. I had a bad experience my first time with a long wait and burnt crust at a crowded festival, and Siler (the owner) made a point to not lose me as a customer and promised he'll make it up to me on the next order, and he kept his word! I appreciated that very much, and will definitely have it again! Thanks again Siler!

Picked up a 10" honey pizza at Sedgefest. Order was ready in ten minutes, fresh from the wood fired oven in the back of the truck. Had a great pillowy crust and the pepperoni with honey is such a nice flavor profile. Friendly service too.

Honey Pizza: pepperoni, honey, red peppers. Better of the two, but just okay.

I was pretty excited to see that King of Fire now has one of their food trucks set up permanently in Fort Mill located at Mr. Putty's in order to finally try their pizza and get it nearby without having to track down and schedule which day I need to order. You do not have to be a patron of Mr. Putty's to enjoy King of Fire. Simply walk through the gate to order or pick up your pizzas. I'm with another reviewer, I really wanted to like King of Fire with all of their glowing reviews. It's one of those places that I felt that did not meet expectations. What we got: Honey: Pepperoni, honey, and red pepper flakes. I preferred this one of the two, liked having the sweet and savory together. Definitely not too many red pepper flakes, which I appreciated. Skipper: chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and pesto. Meh, not much flavor. This one had some burnt areas to it as mentioned in other posts, which just overpowered the other flavors at times. Both pizzas were fine, but just didn't have me saying oh I can't wait to rave about this place and go back. It was simply lackluster, and instead, I probably won't be returning.

YUM!!! King of Fire comes to one of our favorite tap rooms, OpenTap, very often and this was our first time getting to try it. We got the meat lovers pizza with ricotta and it was devoured! The garlic knots were a perfect compliment - can't wait to try more things off the menu! The staff was very nice and helpful in picking the most popular things on the menu for us to try :)

During Covid the apartment complex I was living in at the time had Food Truck Thursday, at which time I had the opportunity to try King of Fire. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and the garlic knots. The pizza was straight out of their wood fire oven, yes, they have a wood fire oven on the back of their food truck. The dough was cooked to perfection with a crisp and flully crust and the perfect amount of cheese and pepperoni. I also enjoyed the garlic knots, but next time might just stick with the pizzas. And, I hope I come across them again so I can try the honey pie! They post their schedule on Instagram and are worth giving them a try!

This spot has been on my radar for a while, but they were hard to track down. Recently they've started posting their schedule on Instagram, so I was able to find a place near me to try them. My husband and I split: - New Yorker - Honey Pie - Garlic Knots Between the pizzas, my preference was the honey pie. The spicy and sweet combination was very good. The garlic knots were some of the best I've had. I'd definitely recommend checking this spot out if you see them around!

Highly recommend this pizza food truck for your next event. Their pizza is high quality and delicious! They offer convenient preordering and have a variety of pizzas to choose from. The guys manning the truck today were friendly and the pizza was so good! The pizza oven reminds me of my trip to Italy

I'm a ramen reverer, and I can say that this ramen unfortunately did not hit the mark for me. After reading their reviews, I am realizing that I probably should've tried their pho or other menu items, but it was a cold day and I really wanted to love the ramen here. The menu says the ramen has soft boiled eggs, but these were definitely hard boiled. I put a note for no corn in my ramen, but it definitely came with corn *sadness*. I ordered chicken in my ramen and was expecting slices of chicken like most places do, but instead it was ground chicken which was a little weird to eat in a ramen for me. If I come back here, I would definitely try a different type of menu item. But the restaurant gives very cutesy vibes!

I just happen to be working in the area where Roaming Fork sets up on Thursdays out in Ballantyne and was able to grab some tasty lunch. The menu is varied and even has an Asian flare! I went with the recommendation of the cashier. I got the Porky Cheesy and the Truffle fries. The grill cheese had a good crunch and a good amount of filling. I love anytime you mix bbq pork and cheese and this didn't disappoint. The truffle fries get squirted with truffle oil after they come out the grease and have an amazing aroma. I liked the flavor but I love fries with a condiment so I felt like the fries could have used some ranch dipping sauce. The menu has a lot of items I would like to try. Hopefully I'm back in the area where they are located and can give them another try soon. Roaming Fork Thursday October 24, 2019 1pm

These folks may not give you forks, but they know what they're doing! Service has always been friendly and helpful, despite how busy the line can get. The cubanos are amazing - I've gotten the original and also the BBQuban. The OG is super solid, but OMG that BBQ one is just delectable and a great texture. Trust me. Try it. They also have the best yucca fries I've probably ever had. My issue with most yucca fries is that the texture tends to be pretty tough, but these are so soft inside - like they mashed the yucca first and then formed the fries. I don't know what magic they use, but they're incredible, and you must get some. We also got a churro filled with dulce de leche, and it came out nice and hot with lots of cinnamon sugar coating. I didn't love the dulce de leche filling for some reason - maybe I got spoiled by spending time in Argentina - so next time I'll likely go for the regular churro.

I follow these guys on Twitter and was always hoping they'd camp out in the Southpark area one day to draw a lunch crowd. To no avail, I was forced to wait until this weekend! Happy to find these guys at Small Bar in the NC Music Factory for PBR Fest. Churning out pizza and wings for the beer crowd. I had heard multiple cheers of praise and glory about this truck's pizza and wings. I was even a little intimidated approaching the order window. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with describing all of the menu items. We ended up getting two slices of cheese, a slice of the buffalo chicken and 5 Carolina Buffalo wings. We sat down with 24oz tallboys in hand and went to town. I was happy to say that the wings are AWESOME. Perfectly cooked, a little crispy on the outside, not dry, tender, slathered generously with amazing sauce. The Carolina Buffalo is a winner. Mustard-based bbq with a plethora of buffalo sauce thrown in. My taste buds were happy. Uhh...they need to make a Carolina Buffalo pizza. (No brainer, yeah?) The only thing that sank my happy sailing dinner experience was the pizza. A little lackluster and the sauce was a bit reminiscent of box pizza from the frozen section in the grocery store. Maybe our slices had been sitting out for a bit, but didn't have the freshest of textures. I did appreciate the crust and enjoyed sopping up the remainder of the wing sauce with them. I can't say that the pizza was banging on all cylinders or a culinary breakthrough, but is definitely reliable. The combo of wings and pizza in one meal from the street, though? Baller status. Grab a tallboy and it's all over. Foodtruck heaven. So happy to have finally tried these guys out and can't wait to see them at Chowdown Uptown in the near future! Carolina Buffalo Pizza, guys!
