I was immediately impressed with the lasagna with Italian sausage as I was making my first cut with my knife. I could tell that the pasta was freshly made and the sausage and sauce combo was amazing. I've had a lot of lasagna in my life and this dish stood out to me. The menu gives you an option to create your own pasta dish by choosing your pasta shape, sauce, protein, and topping, so we chose the gnocchi with Alfredo sauce and added chicken as the protein. Gnocchi was nicely dense and chewy, the Alfredo was creamy and not too salty. We ended our meal with dessert, and the waiter recommended tiramisu. I've been to Italy and had tiramisu, and also made it at home several times. The tiramisu was tasty, but what I noticed was that the lady fingers weren't really soaked in the coffee/Kahlua mixture so the dessert as a whole didn't have that flavor that tiramisu is known for, plus the texture was too dry and was more cake like. Also the mascarpone was a bit too hard and not soft, perhaps not enough whipped cream was added. Overall the meal was enjoyable and I would return again to try the other types of lasagnas, and perhaps their gelato.

It normally comes with chicken, but the traditional Umbrian dish is pork sausage so they just wanted a fancy name for especially alfredo sauce with artifical truffle oil. An employee (said his name was Will) was friendly and apologetic - apparently 2 large tables rolled in without notice which threw off their planning for the evening. Will mentioned that the party sitting at our table had already paid but continued to sit there, as if there was nothing he could do about it. However, I (and I'm pretty confident most people) have experienced being asked politely to wrap things up during a busy service when other guests are waiting on the table or have a reservation. Since he prioritized their table over us, he could have offered to comp us something small, but he didn't do that either. Food was tasty though prices were a bit steep. We also ordered 2 cocktails and were surprised how small they were. One final note: I originally ordered the Lavender Spritz cocktail.
