Shake Shack uses Martin's potato buns, which is the best bun for burgers. Other buns may work however, Martin's potato buns the best. This is the type of burger that doesn't even need condiments, however their shack sauce is good but very similar to other burger sauces. Their Chicken Shack has also been very good when I ordered it a few times. Chicken is hot and crispy. The pickles are good but the herb aioli is a must. Get extra on the side, it's really good with the sandwich and fries. I tried the limited time BBQ rib sandwich, it was also very good. However, not as good as the burger or chicken sandwich. It's a shame but also not horrible the best burger in Baton Rouge comes from a chain. It's disappointing because just like pizza, Baton Rouge does not have any great options.
