Third time back here, and we made it into the actual bistro as there was a storm coming and the veranda seating would be great for that! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's actually quite beautiful inside, I do miss a window to see outside, but they have made this space a treat to have dinner in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]All the little touches, the little thing that holds your knife off the actual table, the handbag chair, you can tell this was all well thought out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Came with a friend to catch up , we decided to do small plates, and we started with their new bubbly, which I've been dying to try, Thursday was apparently 25% off a glass or bottle night, so bottle it was! Bit nervous it was going to be sweet, but it wasn't, more Brut like, but with a soft finish. Fruity but dry. Loved the glasses too! We started with the Pomme frites as everyone should! These were better than the first time I came, more truffle flavor and less McDonald's like! Delicious! Then we tried the Greek meatballs, chicken meatballs, with greens, tomatoes, feta, homemade tzatziki and a tabbouleh salad with some naan, this was a meal in itself. Very fresh, great flavors, very simple but tasty. Honestly full at this point , but dessert is a must, they had a plethora of choices which was a menu in itself, we went with the coconut cake. Wow! Levi our server talked this up but when it came out I was stunned by how pretty the plate was. They definitely know how to create beautiful plates here, lots of berries, a delicious house made coulis , lemon curd and the cake itself was light, paired well with bubbles and was the perfect combination of everything we wanted. Highly recommend this dessert, even though they all sounded great. Maybe I can suggest a sampler of at least three of the desserts? It's so nice to have a nice place in Mocksville without having to go into Winston, I wish more people would come out here, yes it's pricier than most local places, but the food and wine and service warrant the price. Levi was fantastic, and kept our glasses topped up, water glasses filled and checked in on us. He was funny, informative and a great representative of the winery, he definitely knows his stuff. Thank you for taking such good care of our table. Looking forward to going back soon! Had such a great time here.

They're consistently quick and reliable and we love the flatbreads. Most recently we finally dined in. The service was kind and pretty efficient. The food was excellent as always. My turkey sandwich was a perfect combo of crispy bread and gooey cheese. The veggies added awesome flavors. The sweet potato and regular fries were both excellent! The star of the show could have been that herbed mayo!

A small restaurant with a walk up counter area, and a side dining room only eight or so booths around the perimeter and a handful of tables and chairs in the interior. Service is brigade style, with several staff working our table. We were wanting a little bit, so started with the Calamari appetizer. It was well prepared and light breaded and flash fried, served with lemon wedges and a side marinara. It was very good, tender and cooked near perfection. We decided on a build your own Flatbread with canadian bacon, black olives, banana peppers and pineapple. Along with the Lobster raviolis. Both were good, the flatbread was done well but a little soggy? The raviolis had nice flavor and a good filling, and was a decent sized portion for the price. 4 Stars a good meal with kind service, popular with the area so it does get busy 01263

We were greeted walking in and told to sit where we liked, so we grabbed a table by a window and took a seat. Our server arrived a few minutes later with menus and took our drink orders. We ordered a basket of fried pickles and peppers to start and they arrived within about ten minutes. Golden brown batter fried, dill pickles and banana peppers, salty, tangy, crunchy, spicy, tasty. A good start. I opted for the dirty south burger, a chili cheddar cheese burger with slaw, jalepenos, and fried onions with mayo and mustard. A hearty burger, dripping chilli sauce, crunchy onions, and jalepenos. A good choice. An odd selection of drafts for a brewhouse? A lot of small craft signs on the wall but not on the board? Anyways, ordered a draft yuengling which was good. But I was looking for the local or even regional microbrew taps and they were not here. The appetizer was really good, the burger okay but the brew selection... sort of a let down 3.5 Stars rounded up for the kind staff all in all worth a stop and visit 01233

This experience is not what we anticipated. There were several other tables and booths occupied and my wife noticed none of them appeared to have any food on their tables. We perused the menu and placed our orders. My wife chose the grilled chicken salad and I decided on the Cadillac Burger with mac and cheese. As we waited, we watched a family get up and leave. They told the server they would pay for there appetizer and drinks but since they did not receive there entrees, they were not going to pay for them. A short while later, we watched people at two other tables get up and leave as well. My wife asked our server what was going on and we were told they only had one cook. We hadn't waited long but we asked our server about our order and we were assured our order would be out shortly. Our orders were brought to our table not long after that. We did not feel we waited too long. Everything was correct and looked great. As we proceeded eat, they started turning away customers that came in and we heard they decided to close the restaurant for the day. We both really enjoyed our meals. The Cadillac burger was much more than I expected and tasted really good. I ended up taking half home because it was that big. I also thought the mac and cheese was tasty. Our table service was good and we felt taken care of. Although, our personal experience was good, the overall experience was off. We felt sorry for the cook and servers. Based on the entire experience we are giving this review three stars. But the sole cook deserves a 5+ star review because our meals were great considering everything else.

It started off with visiting Rayson Winery & Vineyards with Bistro Europa Restaurant in Mocksville, NC. I was greeted and welcomed with a tasting with Coleman. This young lady is so knowledgeable and professional in every aspect when it comes to wine! She explained how it got started, how they cultivated the grapes and overcoming obstacles that was preventing the wine production etc. This vineyard has so much history that any wine lover would love to hear, and Coleman is definitely that someone who could share the story. The wines I sampled all had unique tastes. One of my favorite was Sweet Vermouth Blanc. This is a dessert white wine that has varietals of Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay. The ambiance at this location was elegant and filled with sophistication. The customer service from everyone was great. The manager who made all this possible was Liz, who is the manager of Digital and Social for JOLO Brands. She allowed me to have one of the most exceptional experiences ever! I am a wine lover and I absolutely love sampling and learning the ins and out of the wine industry so having these moments are magical!

If you are wondering, I have no idea if this Mi Casa is in the same family as ones in Lexington and Winston-Salem. Summary - Food is a solid 4 stars. - Margaritas 4 stars - Adult drink selection, 4 stars - Service 4 stars - Ambiance 3 1/2 stars - Value 3/12 to 4 stars - Cash and cards accepted Mi Casa is slightly cheaper than what Domingos was. Food is comparable. I have tried the cheese dip, steak tacos and fajitas. It's a pretty large menu. Texana Fajitas (shrimp, steak and chicken) were good. My only complaint is the steak and chicken are chopped fine. You are not getting the chicken and steak strips that are easy to pick out. Street tacos are decent. Same for the cheese dip. The margaritas come in lots of flavors and different sizes. If memory serves me correctly, I got a 16oz, which was served in a square glass. Square glasses suck for drinking margaritas. It's just odd to get the salt off the rim and drink in a square cup. Round is the way to go baby unless you are a straw drinker. The inside looks about the same as Domingos. They didn't change much. If you have never been here, they have a large inside and outside seating area. Outside might be good a night when the weather is nice. Otherwise the outside seating is just concrete with no trees. Not ideal when it is very hot.
