One of my favorites for brunch (and dinner)! Absolutely adore the patio, cocktails, and all seafood dishes always 'slap.' I most recently ordered the avocado toast and it was just 'ok' - slightly disappointing. Service is always exceptional, but I find those working the hostess station to always be a bit stuffy and less welcoming than their "sister" locations - green valley grill & lucky 32... not sure why I get this vibe but I'd never let it stop me from having a good time!

Had a great dinner here! Had a reservation for one at 5pm and they sat me right away, which was convient because I arrived early. The ambience is so warm and upscale which I love! Started off with complimentary bread with butter and roasted garlic and it was sooo good! I came on an empty stomach so I ordered both the Pan Seared Scallops and Duck A L'orange which were their current features on the menu! Both were amazing and seasoned good; the glaze on the duck was sweet but balanced well with the black rice! Ended my meal with the Profiteroles; I wouldn't get it again but the ice cream was decent.

One of the places in Greensboro where you can expect consistent excellence, just like it's sister restaurant in the O Henry Hotel, Green Valley Grill. The Quaintance-Weaver group is just very reliable across their properties and Print Works is no exception. Just another one of those places that I have been to plenty of times over the years, but a review has escaped my grasp. Why? I don't know. Maybe I felt it's such a known quantity and prioritized other lesser known places, either way they deserve a good word. Our most recent visit was in the late fall. To be perfectly honest, I had a good night at the new casino up in Danville the night before, and decided to take my lady out for a nice meal. Their menu changes with the seasons, though some favorites are always kept. I went with something season in the seafood butternut squash risotto, and she went with a favorite, steak frites. We also started off with an order of bacon brussel sprouts. Service and ambiance are never a problem here, you can expect to be well taken care of as the staff generally are doing well, and everything inside and out in the restaurant feels elegant and top shelf. That said, it isn't super prententious. Our brussel sprouts were excellent, and it was a massive amount. Would be a great appetizer for even larger groups to share. My risotto was topped with three large and perfectly seared scallops, with another six or so good sized shrimp throughout. The risotto itself was well cooked, though I think overall the butternut squash flavor was a little too dominant. The steak frites came with an absurd amount of frites, which, hard to be mad at that. The meat itself was tender and served with a creamy butter for that extra decadence. All in all, another successful meal at Print Works, as many before and likely many to come will be as well.

We sat in the bar this time! The ambiance is really pretty and vibrant. You feel like you've been transported to another land when you walk in the door! Your greeted and escorted to your table. The food is outstanding! The omelet, shrimp, doughnuts, eclairs and all of the yummest drinks! We've never been disappointed with anything at Print Works!

Print Works Bistro is absolutely one of my favorites. The food, the service, the atmosphere -- everything was wonderful from start to finish. I went for my birthday, and it could not have been a better choice. I had the lamb special, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We also ordered the Brussels sprouts, and they were AMAZING -- and that's saying something because I don't even like Brussels sprouts. To top it off, they surprised me with complimentary profiteroles to celebrate, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our waitress was completely on point all night -- attentive, warm, and genuinely made the evening even better. If you're looking for a place that nails both the food and the experience, this is it.

Stopped in today for lunch with friends and had a wonderful experience. We had a reservation for 12pm and we were seated right away. Our server was great throughout the visit as well. I got a Bloody Mary to drink and it was pretty tasty, just your standard Bloody Mary with good presentation. For my meal, I got the Short Rib Dip and fries. The meal honestly exceeded my expectations. There was plenty of short rib on the sandwich that was tender and flavorful and the baguette was the perfect balance of crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Paired with the au jus to dip, it really was a great meal. It also came with a huge portion of fries that were delicious as well. 10/10 would recommend!

Today my husband and I visited Print Works Bistro for a weekday brunch and we loved everything about it. It was our first time at Print Works, though I've been to their sister restaurant Green Valley Grill several times. I love the attention to detail when it came to the ambiance of this restaurant, from the lush plants adorning the outdoor patios to the comfortable but elegant chairs to the long curtain panels providing a little separation between other guests. It's truly a beautiful restaurant. I also love that they serve brunch daily! My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, and we both loved the amount of cheese and overall flavor and consistency of the grits. I went with the grilled salmon which is served with a strawberry-tarragon beurre rouge sauce, crème fraîche mashed potatoes and French green beans. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the lightness of the sauce and the creaminess of the mashed potatoes were highlights. We also split an order of the beignets, which are served with honey and a dark chocolate sauce for dipping. Divine. Our waiter was excellent, checking on us regularly but not rushing us in any way. All in all, a great meal with outstanding service, a gorgeous dining room, and affordable prices. We'll definitely return for a date night or another brunch. This would be the perfect place to gather with a group of friends or colleagues, as everyone is likely to find something on the menu they will enjoy and there are plenty of tables to accommodate larger parties. As for attire, I would consider this restaurant to be upscale but not pretentious, and I saw a wide array of attire from business suits to more casual wear I wasn't sure what to expect, and I wore blue jeans with a nicer blouse and did not feel uncomfortable or out of place, though I think I personally might dress a little sharper if going for dinner.

Had really high expectations going in because I had heard such great things! The atmosphere and service were amazing but the food unfortunately left a lot to be desired. The Brie appetizer looked amazing but was a bit plain. I had the scallop and shrimp risotto and my friend had steak frites. Both dishes were overly seasoned...I really wanted to like my dish and ate a majority of it but my tongue was overloaded by all the flavors (& not in a good way). My friend also shared the steak was especially salty. Overall had a fun girls night out but the food was a bit of a let down after all the great things I had heard.

Dinner alternative was great!! This wasn't where we planned to go, but so glad we did - no wait. We sat at the bar and pulled another little round table to have room for our food. The lemon sauce that comes with the schnitzel is like lemon velvet...light and delicious. Ashland is FANTASTIC!!! Ask for her

Went here for lunch on Black Friday. Reserved for 4 and I miscounted should be five. Fortunately we were early enough (11:45am) so they were able to accommodate A very large dining hall - I really love the high ceilings giving it a more open feel. Most of the foods we tried were good. Fried calamari - it was fried with very light batter and very tender with great sauce. My only complaint- 5 pieces (2 inches long ) for $17 was a bit hefty. Good that we only had 5 ppl so at least we each had one. Fried oyster - very good , crispy on the outside and tender and savory inside. I really like the sauce come with it - and it tasted good with the fries. Truffle fries - yummy and yummy. A bit on the salty side to my taste. Duck confit flat bread - like light pizza, pretty good as well. I had the quiche - nothing extraordinary, but with good flavor and not as rich. Chicken schnitzel for my dad - the texture was more tender than the American fried breaded chicken but not as soft and crispy as I had in Europe. But still I love it and the salad looked great. Lamb dish was a bit light (in volume) than expected. A layer of lamb stew on mashed potato. My son loved short rib sandwich though he is not that hot about the salad. Desserts- mire thank Chocolate cake - I really like it , it's silky on top and more of a cake texture on bottom - not nearly as sweet as the usually American dessert. I'd have A+ on it. My son got the affogato - it's one of his spelling bee words which he found interesting to see on the menu. . He loved it. Ambiance was good as well not as noisy. Will try back perhaps for dinner when we are back in town.

Had the perfect girls brunch here a few weeks ago with some of my ladies! Made a reservation for us 4 at 1130am on a Saturday. Didn't realize this place was so big- it's part of a hotel and parking was actually a little tough to find too. We were seated at a nice table farther back closer to the kitchen/restroom. Just a note it's pretty chilly in here so consider bringing a layer if you get cold easily! We had a couple coffees and mimosas- I tried mine with apple juice for something novel. And the caramel coffee was delicious too. For my entree I had the salmon omelet. It was cooked perfectly and was a generous portion. The potatoes tasted good too, and I'm not really a fan of those in general. My friends enjoyed their breakfast plates, Benedict's and sandwiches too. At one point, I think a chef did make a bit of a scene and storm off a little angrily. Not sure what happened, but other than that, it was a really pleasant brunch. I love the ambience and decor here, and the food/service of course are top notch. I'd love to come back for another meal! @Azfitfoodfun

This was my first time dining here. I came for French toast. It was very good. The bacon was cooked perfectly and was thicker - not flimsy like some places as a side. Prices were affordable - I expected more honestly from a nice place like this. I will be back for sure.

Print works is always very classy and very tasty. The vibes here are nice and perfect for late night evenings, date nights, brunch etc. The decor in the restaurant is wonderful and delightful. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. The food is always delicious. It is always a good place to stop and eat at no matter the season.

Our server was excellent, the wine list is impressive, my local beer was fantastic, and my wife enjoyed her wine. The food was where things slipped. My wife's wood-fired salmon was pretty good, but her vegetables came out with no seasoning at all. My wood-fired filet was cooked exactly right, but it also had no seasoning, and when you find yourself asking for steak sauce for a filet, something has gone wrong in the kitchen. Then the peach crumble showed up and stole the entire night. It is genuinely amazing, and I'd tell anyone within earshot to order it. Great atmosphere, great service, great drinks, and a dessert worth the trip. If the kitchen brings the seasoning up to the level of everything else, this is easily a four-and-a-half-star restaurant.

This dinner was the perfect ending to a perfect day on a warm, sunny November evening. The food was excellent. Everything blended beautifully and melted in your mouth with that rich ragu surrounding it. I'd definitely order it again. My wife had the chicken gnocchi dish. The only slight miss was the gnocchi. It wasn't homemade and leaned more on the firm side rather than that soft, melt in your mouth texture. Outside of that, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the manchego spinach cream sauce was fantastic. What truly sets this place apart is the patio overlooking the vineyard. Getting to-go boxes was effortless and we were offered refills often. Food was a mixed bag. My wife had the gluten-free smoked salmon toast with avocado. She wished the veggies and tomato were grilled; the GF bread itself was very good, but the greens/tomato ended up pushed aside. I had the smoked salmon Benedict. The salmon portion felt light, and the hollandaise leaned more toward mustard than citrus and was a bit thin. Breakfast potatoes and veggies were nicely cut and well-seasoned but undercooked; same for the bacon, which tasted more tough than crisp. (I reheated the potatoes/veg at home -- flavor was there once cooked through.) Prices felt reasonable, ingredients seemed thoughtfully sourced, and the team's earnestness shines. With a little tighter execution (fully cooked potatoes/veg, crisper bacon, brighter/thicker hollandaise, slightly more salmon, grilled tomatoes), this would be an easy 5.
