    Cevaps
    David F.

I had the cavaps, and it was absolutely delicious. The grilled sausages were perfectly seasoned--rich and savory with just the right amount of spice to give them character without overpowering the dish. The lepinja (flatbread) it was served with was a perfect match--light, fluffy, and warm. The ajvar sauce was fantastic. I honestly wouldn't mind having a jar of it at home. Altogether, it was a delicious meal in a very welcoming, cozy cafe with personal service.

My family wanted to try Bosnian food so we decided to visit Euro Grill & Cafe. We ordered 5 dishes and thought the price was great for the quality, speediness, and taste of food and service. It's a small place with outdoor seating as well. We enjoyed the food and would love to come back!

The Euro Grill & Cafe is an unassuming restaurant on Central Ave, but it's definitely one not to miss. They specialize in Bosnian food, which reminds me a little bit of Mediterranean food if you've never head it before. I ordered the half cevaps sandwhich, and I was blown away. The bread (lepina) is so soft and fluffy. It feels like it melts in your mouth. Cevaps are these flavorful sausages. It's a really hearty meal, so you won't leave hungry. I also got a side of fries, which were crisped to perfection. As another huge plus, everything felt very reasonably priced. This cozy building has both a restaurant and a small grocery store together. The restaurant itself is small, but there's enough seating for a handful of smaller groups. They also do have patio seating, which is pleasant when the weather is warm enough. Lastly, they do have a decent parking lot, which is a huge plus. Additionally, you can find street parking on the adjacent road. Don't drive too fast or you might miss it!

Whenever I visit Charlotte, (I am from Denver) this is my first stop. The food is amazing. The owner is very nice. I will be there on the 20th of this month and again this will be my first stop.cant wait

Love this hidden gem off of central. The beef cevaps are absolutely mouth watering delicious-- but you have to have the sauces. The red and white sauce is a little mixture of heaven! I always place my order to go and call ahead because Euro cafe makes things fresh.

Phenomenal food and service, the flavors are off the hook. I dropped in after work and felt right at home.

My first Bosnian food experience was pleasant and satisfying. +. Ambiance is better than I expected. This resto like many ethnic restos is connected to a small grocery store. You first walk through a tiny mostly dry and frozen grocer to a tiny DR with white cloth tables. Welcoming and friendly vibe. +. Initially I called and ordered a burger to go but after finding out that it had cream, I opted for a small cevaps and a baklava. 1/2 cevaps was plenty for me. It was well packaged to keep the sandwich warm and I dressed it with 3 accompanied condiments, chopped onions, yogurt and red pepper sauces. The airy (fried?) bread was outstanding! But the meat was a little salty for me though it may be fine for most peeps. The sammie had a good balance of textures and flavors. Baklava though was bland and would skip it. +. Price was reasonable. It was just under $12. ++. Service was friendly, prompt and helpful! ++. Private parking in the back MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - -   Disgusted -     Don't bother =    Missed the Mark +    Good ++  Better +++ EDIBLE...WHERE have you been all my LiFe!

This place is a hidden gem on Central ave! The exterior is definitely unassuming, it almost just looks like a house with chairs out front. However once you enter, the beautiful smells and sounds of sizzling meats and baking bread immediately are apparent. I ordered a cevaps sandwich, with fries on the side, and let me tell you, it's is FILLING! I basically had to take a nap after finishing this! The sausages are juicy and filled with flavor, and the special bread is piping hot and a perfect balance to the delightfully greasy and tasty sausage. Also the fries are perfectly seasoned and we're freshly fried as well. I highly recommend, and will return here many more times!

Euro Grill and Cafe is a step into an Eastern European Cafe right in Charlotte. I made a stop just because the cafe was on the Yelp 100. I've never had Bosnian food before and really have nothing to compare it to. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed what I ordered. I got the Cevaps and Spicy Sausage Combo with Fries. The portion was huge and the taste was good. The cevaps are similar to a sausage to me. The flatbread was buttery and one a little chewy. I like the fluffy butter and roasted red pepper sauce that comes with the dish. I looked around the shop and would love to try some of the items they have in stock. Regular Cevapi

Not your average place. Definitely a diamond in the rough. You wouldn't think it's a restaurant walking up in true dive style. BUT swallow your fear and keep waking. Some of the best food ever. Beautiful buttered naan like bread with homemade sausages is a dish called cevapi (shi-vaap-ee). The orange sauce it comes with is my favorite but both are good. You'll need to ask for extra. The young man that runs the kitchen is always super pleasant and knowledgeable. My favorite place to surprise people with.

    Large chevapi. Me likey.
    James D.

Closed on Mondays. Parking is in the back and you can come in the back door, walk through the small market and into the restaurant side. Friendly folks here and the food is good (see my pics). Large chevapi will run you about 10 bucks and they do have a couple tables at which to eat inside. Not sure if they have free wifi or not, but portions are generous, the food is fresh and it's tasty. Try them out if you will.

    Meat Lovers Medley (takeout)
    Jacqueline T.

We found this on the Yelp Top 100 list for 2019 and decided to get it for our most recent quarantine takeout. We got the Regular Cevapi plate, the Meat Lovers Medley, and the Spinach and Cheese Burek (Zeljanica). I've never had Bosnian food so I was excited to try it for the first time. My favorite thing was the Burek. I loved the phyllo dough. I also really enjoyed the Cevapi. The sauce that came with it was really good. I wasn't as big of a fan of the other meats that were on the Meat Lovers Medley. It was still good, but the Cevapi was the best. I'd recommend checking them out to try Bosnian food!

    I'll steer the boat. Euro.

I hadn't been in over a year, which I'm sure made the experience even better. The ambiance was great overall. It was a little chilly since we were seated near the door, but the manager, Sebastian, made sure we were quickly reseated and comfortable, which we appreciated. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and the 90s R&B and Afrobeats playlist definitely added to the vibe. An all-around great experience!

She made the whole experience genuinely unforgettable. Fast forward to May 2026: I took my teen and his identical twin friends back for the twins' birthday and we decided to go for brunch. I'll never do that again. Our reservations noted the twins' birthday, but the waiter didn't acknowledge it, and after I mentioned it, he still kept forgetting. He made so many mistakes that I stopped trying to track them. He did, however, push hard, more like beg, for us to order the buffet. We told him we'd already chosen entrées because the presentation of the food mattered most to us, and that's not really something you get with a buffet. He promised we'd still get that presentation with all of our drinks. The drinks arrived about 20 minutes later, with none of the smoke, hoopla, or anything special...he told us he forgot. We also asked to view the buffet before ordering. We explained that most stations were empty, so we weren't interested. He assured us everything would be replenished. It was replenished... eventually. After waiting about 30 extra minutes and asking multiple times. The refills came out at a snail's pace, and the empty bins stayed empty far too long. We were also seated upstairs near the windows. A waitress spilled some of a drink on the small stair area near our seats and continued walking without picking it up. By the time we left an hour later, no one had cleaned it up, and multiple staff members walked right past it. A five-star experience followed by another one-star experience has to be enough to finally put the place on pause. Spending several hundred dollars each visit is just not worth it when the experience is this hit-or-miss. And they didn't even bring out two cupcakes for the identical twins birthday. The twins had to split one. Seriously? Come on!!!

The ambiance is what I would describe as a "modern cigar box." The lighting resembles a modern bedside lamp and the room itself feels small and subdued. When we visited there were only five guests being served in the entire restaurant. If you're looking for a place to see and be seen, this probably isn't it. The meal began with the amuse-bouche courses listed on the menu, but an unexpected bread service appeared later, after the opening dishes. The bread itself isn't listed anywhere on the tasting menu and the execution felt oddly disorganized. There were three guests at the table but only two plates, along with a mismatched amount of bread. We also had to request bread plates, which weren't initially provided. It didn't feel like a thoughtful accompaniment to the meal so much as something that appeared without much planning. Course-wise, nothing truly stood out. The Rainbow Trout was probably the best dish of the evening, but even that wasn't extraordinary. The rest of the menu leans heavily on luxury ingredients like toro, truffle, A5 wagyu, and foie gras, but the execution didn't elevate them in a memorable way. One course that particularly puzzled me was prime beef with mashed potatoes. Steak and mashed potatoes is something easily obtainable at countless restaurants. If you're going to put that on a $275 tasting menu, it needs to be exceptional. Unfortunately, this version simply wasn't. Service throughout the evening was inconsistent. Toward the end of the meal I sat with an empty water glass for roughly nine minutes, which shouldn't happen in a restaurant operating at this level. There were also some training issues with the host. During one presentation he placed a guest's dish facing the wrong direction and then attempted to explain the components left-to-right for two guests while reversing the explanation for the third guest rather than simply correcting the plate placement. His delivery felt awkward and rehearsed. This isn't meant as a criticism of the individual personally, but it suggests the staff could benefit from more training and refinement. At $275 per person, this was actually the most expensive base tasting menu of my last three fine-dining experiences, and unfortunately it was also the weakest. I'm giving Sora a generous 1.5 out of 5 stars. I'm open to the possibility that this was simply an off night, but considering how empty the dining room was, it does make me wonder if this is a more common occurrence than it should be. At this price point, diners deserve a much more polished and memorable experience.

This dinner was the perfect ending to a perfect day on a warm, sunny November evening. The food was excellent. We started with the baked brie wrapped in a buttery flaky pastry, and the goat cheese medallions with marinated peppers and olive tapenade. Both were delicious. For mains, I had the porcini mushroom and cheese stuffed ravioli in a beef ragu, and this dish was outstanding. Everything blended beautifully and melted in your mouth with that rich ragu surrounding it. I'd definitely order it again. My wife had the chicken gnocchi dish. The only slight miss was the gnocchi. It wasn't homemade and leaned more on the firm side rather than that soft, melt in your mouth texture. Outside of that, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the manchego spinach cream sauce was fantastic. What truly sets this place apart is the patio overlooking the vineyard.
