What a delicious surprise for a Nashua restaurant. The variety of the menu was very good, not overwhelming, and all dishes were described in such a way that you wanted to try them all! We enjoyed the Short Rib with Gnocchi and roasted brussel sprouts in a delicious mushroom truffle gravy and Crab Stuffed Salmon with Potatoes Anna and asparagus. The short rib dinner was absolutely wonderful and salmon stuffed with crab didn't disappoint either. Our waitress Kim was a delight and very attentive. Covid precautions were taken seriously with the plexiglass dividers and staff wore masks. Only drawback would be the decor...which I think could use a little attention to detail. We went in on a Friday night and sat at the bar. The hostess, Ava, answered some of our questions about the food menu. She was knowledgeable and polite. This is the second time I have come to Bistro603. Both times the wait staff were very friendly and helpful. The patio setting was very nice too. I love the menu. Had a lot of plant-based choices. Nashua's newest Black-owned restaurant did not disappoint! The service was great and accommodated our party to move indoors when it got too cold on the patio, and we still felt far enough from other patrons in the dining room. The food was fantastic; they had plenty of options including a vegetarian/vegan entree menu to help with our dietary restrictions. The tap list is local and has good variety as well. One of my new all-time favorite restaurants in Nashua. The food is fantastic ,freshly prepared and the menu has some very interesting dishes. There are several "healthy salad bowls", that have quinoa, humus, chick peas, for example. The wait staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Great cocktails as well. read more

I met a friend at the Bistro 603 restaurant on Amherst street last night. We started at the bar as we waited for the rest of our party for a total of 7. We had a couple of drinks that were well made. The service was great and very attentive. We started with 3 apps. The teriyaki cauliflower, steak bomb spring rolls and the tiny clams. Everyone enjoyed the apps and they have some nice GF selections. For dinner we had Tuna Poke, Pasta Bolognese, steak frites, crab stuffed salmon, fish tacos, warm Buddha bowl and mushroom risotto from the vegan menu. Everything was very good we all enjoyed our meals they were prepared very well and I liked the fact you didn't get too much food. You get a good serving. Only one person ordered dessert a brownie sundae and they said it was very good too! It has an industrial atmosphere with some outdoor seating. We did wear our masks into the restaurant but felt very comfortable without them once we were at the bar or our table the bartenders, waitstaff and hostesses were all wearing masks the whole time. Asked if we could be moved to back room which was more private and we were told no - you have to request that room yet there were many open tables in that back room. Last year, knowing we would only dine outside a friend drove by Bistro 603 and contacted us to let us know they had a nice patio for outside dining. We decided to give it a try the next night. One of the specials was an appetizer of Mussels in a bacon, blue cheese broth. I ordered the Mussels and their Pasta Bolognese. I forget what my wife had but she was very, very pleased with her meal. I loved the Mussel and sopped up all the broth with the bread they give you. When my Bolognese came I could only taste it as I was pretty full. We both split it for lunch the next day. Here is the kicker, I raved about the Mussels so much that my wife and I went back the very next night so she could get it and we both had the Mussels. We have been there numerous times, weather permitting and never disappointed. The Mussels never showed up again so I sent an email to the owner Jeff. He contacted Chef Jason who said he would do it for us. Their menu says everything prepared from scratch so he would do it. He did say that he did not remember the recipe he did back then but, it would be close and we would be happy and we were. We were just there for Mother's Day and made early reservations (4:30PM) anticipating we would do the Mussels. The Host, Let us know the kitchen was running behind and our orders may take an hour. They were really busy inside and we decided it wasn't the right time to ask for something special to be made. We ordered from the menu and had the Chicken Fettuccini and really enjoyed it. All the wait staff is young and pleasant and Chef Jason is Key Man. Give it a try. read more

I'll start with the pros since I try to be a very positive person. The ambience is nice, as this was our first visit here and the staff was pleasant. We were there on Sunday, July 10th. Everyone in my party enjoyed their dinner. However, the one star is because my daughter and I ordered the $30 crab stuffed salmon. The very next day she and I had bad stomach pains and did not feel well at all (we do not have an allergy either). We were both bedridden all day and unfortunately it has affected us all week - we're at day four we're still not quite 100% back to normal. My husband called the restaurant the next day on Monday, July 11 and spoke to the manager on duty and they were very apologetic and took all the information and said the owner would get back to us the next day, but we never heard back. We highly suggested they take the salmon and crab stuffed dish off the menu for the week to avoid anyone else from getting sick. It would've been nice if the owner contacted us the very next day as we called to let them know as a precaution to immediately check that particular dish because I don't want anyone else to experience this. read more

Was looking for a place to accommodate a large group with outdoor seating for our wedding rehearsal dinner. Bistro603 fit the bill and exceeded expectations. The food was delicious. The staff was kind and helpful. With fewer than 25 people, everyone was able to order off the menu, which was fabulous. Kaitlyn was super accommodating and easy to communicate with via email. Went here for the first time on a Saturday night. Waitress was very nice and drinks were good. The food was not very good. My husband got the short rib tacos which had no flavor. I got the seafood platter and it was extremely greasy with two different types of batter. Simply put it was awful. Doubt I would ever go here again. read more

I've eaten here 4 times now (always sitting at the bar) and the first three have been a solid 4/5. The brunch is fantastic, and Justin is a phenomenal bartender. Unfortunately, the dinner experience this evening was subpar due to poor customer service by a bartender/manager waiting on us. I don't know her name (she never introduced herself when she took our order) but she was less then mediocre (ie. unpleasant and rude). It was so bad and evident that the couple I was with were actually laughing at the end. And after dealing with the miserable troll throughout dinner, she had the stupidity to run my card evidently on another tab - she corrected their tab but left my card on the register while she cashed out two other customers and made a few drinks for other customers. She wouldn't come near us despite our attempts to get her attention. Absolutely comical. Justin came in and took care of things, but I still don't know if I'll get double-charged (more than likely), as we were told the previous charge in error was cancelled (no proof). To the owner: we choose to eat at your establishment over other restaurants, but we will not tolerate rude staff. They hurt your bottom line. This cost you a customer. read more

My third time at this restaurant and definitely our last! I could not believe how outwardly rude our waitress' "helper" was. A girl with short blonde hair. My appetizer came out without the sauce. I asked for sauce politely and she just stared at me walked away and brought it back. No apologies or even an "okay I'll grab that for you". Also our bread came out and was just a burger bun cut in half....what? When the waitress asked us how things were going i mentioned the rudeness of the young girl. They sent her back to us anyway to bring our dinner and the girl SLAMMED my dinner onto the table. I mean purposely and aggressively SLAMMED. The force of the plate moved our water glasses and startled us both. I was resting my hand on my chin and it actually hurt my teeth! I'm pregnant mind you and did nothing to deserve this stressful experience except honestly answer the waitress with how things were going when asked. We packed our food to go and had to pay $80 for this experience. The managers response was also unprofessional and when i asked for the girls name she says "you don't need to know her name." Excuse me? The manager then said she would speak to her and asked us "what can i do for you to make it right? Instead of coming up with a solution to brighten our experience. It's not the guest's job to tell you how to do your job. No discount was given. This place is pathetic. If you're in the service industry, get it together and put a smile on your face. First negative review I've left anywhere in 5-6 years. Awful and the food has never been consistent. ***regarding the response below. I did not ask for extra sauce. The cauliflower I ordered was breaded with no sauce on it. It should never be a problem to share the first name of an employee with someone so you know who you are referring to and so that person can be avoided in the future. Also it was very much a burger bun. It had a top with poppyseeds and a bottom that was blank. The waitress also acknowledged that it was indeed a burger bun. read more

Went for dinner with my family. My Son and Sister ordered fish taco's, when the order came out was very disappointed with the portion. For $14.00 an entree you get 2 very small tacos. We were in town for an event and looked for a restaurant near our hotel. Lots of positive ratings for Bistro603, so gave it a try. It's in a strip mall behind a strip mall, so, from the outside it doesn't look like much. However, it's a big surprise when you open the door: a modern, open, busy bar restaurant. It is also, like many of these, REALLY NOISY, which is not to our taste and the only reason I didn't give it five stars. Everything else is very, very good. We had a reservation and we're seated immediately. Our very busy waitress was friendly, helpful, and quick. The food came out fast and had not sat around. My wife and I both had burgers. She likes hers well done and stripped to the basic burger, cheese and bacon; I like mine medium rare with lots of stuff. It is very unusual for both of us and often either of us to get them the way we ordered. At Bistro603, both our burgers came at the same time and exactly as we like them. We have been searching for the perfect burger for a long time. My wife said hers was the best she ever had. I'm not sure, but mine was a challenger and certainly in the top 2 or 3 if not 1. The French fries were also really good: hand cut, hot, and crisp. All in all, if you can tolerate the noisy ambiance, we recommend Bistro603 highly and will definitely return if we find ourselves anywhere near Nashua. read more
