I got the lychee yakult drink and it was big for the price and very tasty, I put it at half sugar

The food is delicious!! Boba drinks are a great compliment to the savory items they offer. The service is relatively quick. You can dine in or take out which is convenient if you don't have time to stop and eat. Kiosks inside make ordering super simple. My favorite is their Korean Street Ramen, it's spicy but not unbearable with great flavor and toppings. I go here often and would highly recommend!!

My friend suggested this place to grab a bite to eat. I will say, the name threw me off. I was expecting pastries and coffee lol. Much to my surprise, it was everything but that. I'm not a fan of Boba but I gave it a shot. I really enjoyed everything I had. I got a huge bowl of cucumbers and chicken. I cannot believe there 6 pieces of chicken for the price I paid. You can pre-order or pay with cash at the counter. If you use a card you need to order at the kiosk. They were friendly and the place was clean. Definitely will be back again and highly recommend.

Bite and Tea is an Asian inspired street food and bubble tea restaurant. It has a simple and clean open space for dining. They serve hot or cold milk teas, sparkling and fruit teas. I chose the brown sugar milk tea with tapioca pearls. It was very sweet! I also had the golden milk buns as a treat. They were these little donut like bites with a custard in the center topped with a glaze. They were good. The gentleman at the counter was very nice and brought out our stuff to the table where we were waiting. Very good customer service. They had a pretty cool menu with soup options and other appetizers. The braised pork belly bun looked good and ill probably be back to try that! Definitely a unique spot and not the usual menu items like most places. So if your looking to try new things, I would recommend giving them a shot.

A friend and I tried Bite and Tea this week. The restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely. It was definitely a spot that people quickly come and go from (looked like mainly take out orders) and probably aren't expected to sit for any length of time but the space was comfortable enough to host a good number of customers. We ordered at the kiosk, which was convenient. Menu is super duper limited. Unless you're going specifically for a beverage, you may be disappointed. Food was sparse. I tried to get a few different items to give it a fair shot though. Food did come out pretty quickly. 1. Pork belly buns. The pork was small and super thin. Tasted good and was tender. Bun was very wet and underwhelming and ratio of bun to pork was not great. Got a lot of bun in every bite but not a ton of pork. 2. Salt and pepper chicken. This was essentially just any kind of freezer popcorn chicken you can get at the grocery store, with salt and pepper generously added on top after cooking. It was good but could have been something I saved my money and made at home. Solid portion size though. 3. Beef meatball skewer. The meat didn't taste right. Definitely weird texture and flavor for beef. The sauce on it was okay but not plentiful. The amount of meatball for the price was also disappointing. Overall, I thought it was fine and the experience was okay but I would not return for the quality available. Pricing seemed a little steep for the kinds of food offered, also. Just meh, sadly.

One of our local go-tos! The owner is always so nice. We always do one of the combos (2 drinks, 1 app + 2 entrees) My favorite bubble tea is the brown sugar and his is banana. We've tried a bunch of the apps, our favorites are red oil wontons and the Sugar & Vinegar ribs. Our favorite entrees are the Japanese Curry (I prefer noodles, he prefers the rice), Taiwanese braised pork & Korean Street ramen. The service is always great (we've only been able to do takeout since Covid). The order is always correct and delicious! Can't wait to try more!

Great place to get bubble tea and Asian food in the area! I would definitely recommend getting a combo! The combo for two comes with an appetizer, two drinks, and two entrees. Perfect for a nice filling meal to share with a friend!

Second time. Food was amazing! Kayla is still great. Please go check this place out. Pork buns are my absolute favorite item that ever was. Super delicious.

I stopped here really quick before work for a Matcha Green Tea w/ Pearl's. I wasn't able to grab food, but OMG, the tea was amazing. Next, when I have time I'll got to grab some Ramen! The cup is super cute too! EDIT: 3.15.21 Day 2: Second Visit (This time for food) If anyone has been looking for heaven...I think I've found it! Yesterday I didn't have time for food so I swore I'd come back. I did today and God I DO NOT regret it. I got the Green Onion Pancakes and they are to DIE for. They came with this delicious sauce that is a perfect dipping for the pancakes. Honestly, too the amount you get for the price is pretty dang good. I also ordered the seaweed fries, which are also so so so delicious! They actually have some yummy flavor to them. They are in wedge shape and crispy. Any potatoe lover will love these. Then, today I switched up my drink and got the Coconut Tea with Pearls. It is so refreshing and I'm in love.

The boba tea was amazing. The right amount of everything, especially asked for. The booth asks you how you want it, how sweet, how much ice and they make it to the T-perfection. For sure would come back for the boba tea, but my friends told me they don't recommend the food, but maybe I'll try it at a later time. The ambience was very clean and the service was quick, despite it seeming like there aren't enough workers.

I've been craving for some authentic Taiwanese food for awhile and thank goodness this place exists because it hit the spot! The flavor profile is exactly what I needed and how I remember Taiwanese cuisine to be! The drinks were too sweet for me, so be sure to ask for reduced sugar levels, but they still tasted amazing! The staff was incredibly sweet and polite. They were patient in answering any questions you may have. I highly recommend you stop by the next time you're near Bristol, CT.

I visited Bite & Tea a few times. Additionally, I ordered different items each time. I loved the Scallion pancakes, Crispy Egg Crepes, and Bubble Tea as well =). The Scallion pancakes were spot-on! My husband liked the Crispy egg crepes. I liked the Bubble Tea. It was a little on the sweet side. I don't remember if I asked for less sugar or not. The item I didn't prefer was the Noodles with Spiced Peanut Sauce (it was pretty gross in my opinion). Maybe they should make the Taiwanese Beef Pancake?? The serving for the Scallion Pancakes were very small and on the pricey side for such a little portion (LOL).

Formosa has an affordable lunch menu, and even on busy days has delivered my meal within ten minutes. Don't be astounded yet, because I would easily wait twenty minutes for this food. When their food arrives from the delicious variety of their lunch specials, you will be treated to crispy tofu, a nuanced spice for chili or jalapeño meals, or fresh vegetables that will make you wonder: who is introducing you to the best cuisine that southeast Asia has to offer? Sichuan meals, Mandarin meals, and even with a Miso soup that is vibrant and delicate in flavor, you may not have any difficulty in deciding at all because any meal you choose will be cooked with what tastes like generations of expertise, love, and wisdom. It is not possible to follow a recipe, or a video, or a shopping trip and recreate the food at the level of Formosa, nor at the price of Formosa, and I say this after years of enjoying their meals. If you are in the area and you are hungry, you will want to visit Formosa as it is an unbelievably satisfying trip for almost any person in the continental USA, and likely for international travelers from near and far.
