I really wanted to like this place because it was my second visit, but the experience was disappointing. I ordered the butter chicken, which cost almost $19, and it came with only four bite‑sized pieces of chicken. That's nowhere near worth the price. My kids and I ended up eating mostly the sauce with naan because there just wasn't enough actual food. We brought it up to the waitress, and the only thing offered was a $2 discount -- which honestly didn't make a difference considering how small the portion was. The greeter barely said hello before sitting us. That should have been a red flag. We ordered 2 Lassi drinks. 1 mango and one strawberry. They were the most water down Lassi drinks, I've ever had at any Indian restaurant. It was flavor less and we honestly should have sent it back. Our food wasn't much better. It lacked flavor and spices. Two things not common in Indian dishes. The only item that was good was a fried fish dish. This is the only reason why I'm giving them 2. The Naan was good as well. Plain rice was just rice. When we left, they never asked how the food, which probably was good so I don't have to lie. He just told us the total. Your customer service is terrible. And to answer your other question, YES I want you to not sell "biriyani", sell biriyani! It was my first time ordering from here and honestly i will give them a 1 STAR for a few reasons. On the menu it says that each order of curry comes with rice i order 3 curry's (i only got 2 little boxes of rice ) i ordered an extra side of rice so i was supose to get 4 in total.....Also the rice tasted like steamed white rice it didnt even take like real indian rice. On my 3 orders of currys it was full of curry but only like 3-4 pieces of small square chicken pieces, naan bread & samosas where ok. I usually take my order to-go and actually can't say much about their ambiance since I'm in & out. After moving to this side of the bay, we had to look for new places for some of our favorite foods. Indian food has so much flavor and it is so delicious. We found Bites of India and we order for pick up. Shrimp Tandoori- if you like spicy food this dish would do it, I think for me it was too spicy I could not finish it- maybe I will ask next time if the spicy level can be adjusted, we also order Samosa, (I didn't try this personally since I am gluten free), Butter Chicken (was really good and it had a lot of sauce which we appreciated) Mango Lassi- my daughter order this and OMG this was so delicious and creamy. We also got a mix of Naan bread (once again I did not try this but my daughter and fiancé did) Cheese & garlic naan, Garlic Naan Bread, and Plain Naan Bread. We also order some Plain Jeera Rice (this is one of my favorite items). Our bill came out to about $62. When picking up the food, the restaurant looked pretty clean; not many people dinning in but a lot more people were arriving for pick ups. I think we might try dinning in next time and try new items. He told me 10 minutes more which turned to longer wait time. I couldn't wait so thought it's best to get a refund due to my kids in the car and I was pressed for time to go to an event. When I asked for a refund he refused and rushed back inside the kitchen and never came out until the order was ready. Very unprofessional. I could understand if it was busy but there were 3 people inside. I informed the owner for the cost of food which is Very pricey, I was very disappointed. Seems very unorganized. The naan had almost regular bread taste with some yellow coloring that didn't seem to taste anything like butter. I was warmly greeted by several people the second I entered the establishment and seated immediately. The ambiance was modern, clean and very nicely done. I went with the Chicken Tiki Masala (medium spice) with rice, nan and a mango lassi. The masala was thick, rich, super flavorful and the chicken was really tender. Once I was seated I waited again for a while to be helped, the young lady was nice, but I don't know why it took so long to assigned seating & to take an order. The chicken tikka masala had just the right amount of spice, it was creamy and smooth. The chicken serve is good quality meat and perfectly cooked. While this dish may be known as the national dish of the United Kingdom, it takes a real Indian chef to master it. And this establishment has done it.
