Great sports bar for dinner, drinks, and hanging out. They also have an additional rooftop space which is great for the summer. We stopped in for dinner and got the pineapple burger and birria bowl, both of which were so good. The burger was awesome, so yummy and hit the spot! They also have a great selection of beers too. Service was great and efficient. Definitely a good spot to go to in Saranac Lake

We visited on a busy Saturday night, so it took a bit for our entrees, however it was quite alright though, because we had some great cocktails in the meantime! I got a birria bowl which was great, and if I ordered again I would just order some extra cheese! My partner got the chief burger and was happy with his choice. We were able to snag some seats at the bar which was our preference, but there were some available tables in the back dining area, too. There were a few items on the menu they were out of but I'd come back just to try the pho!

The picture does not do it justice. Super fresh with homemade ingredients and tasty throughout! If you like Gyros with Lamb, order this.

We stopped at Bitters after a bike trip on the adk bike trail. We got a great table on deck. What a fun outdoor seating area overlooking the village corner! Our young server was awesome and a pro at making us all feel welcome. She was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. The food was true to previous positive reviews. All three of us thought our dishes were delicious. Speaking only on my Gyro Wrap, it was made with a fresh made tzatziki, lots of veggies, and plenty of feta and lamb. It was a large portion and tasty from start to finish. Lastly, her recommendation to visit Donnellys Ice cream for soft serve was spot on. We will definitely visit Bitters again when in the area.

    Fab fish tacos

The fish tacos are eye-rolling good! And a very generous portion of four plus salad topping. Husband had the chicken Ceaser, also fab! The best part may have been Cade who bartends on the roof deck. He not only recommended the best dishes and great beers, he was kind enough to give us an overview of the area as well as recommend what to see and where to hike (the VIC -fantastic!). He was way better than AI, plus kind and cute. We were the only table for a while so he wasn't ignoring others. Also, the deck was refreshingly cool on a hot day, and very beautifully decorated. Highly recommend!

I'll start by saying that we arrived and were very confused. There was a lack of communication from any server or hostess about where we could sit, if we had to be seated or could seat ourselves. We wanted to be outside, so we did go up to the front deck and unfortunately there were no tables. There was also no seating on the back deck except at the bar. Ultimately, we decided to go to the front deck again and order some drinks and sit on the couches where we waited until a table opened up. Then we swooped in like falcons as soon as a table was available. So after that first bit, we were finally seated and ordered some food and more drinks. I ordered the brussels sprouts and a burrata salad. I really enjoyed the brussels sprouts, and the burrata itself was great - though I would have enjoyed larger slices of heirloom tomatoes instead of the chopped up bits that reminded me of pico. At least it all tasted great. The service was very good. The two guys manning the bar on the front deck were great. The girl that brought up our meals was friendly. We enjoyed sitting and taking in the town. I recommend going early so you can get a table or get some drinks and then grab a table as soon as one opens up. A friendly atmosphere definitely makes this a hoppin' spot in town.

After an 11-month absence we are back for lunch. Great service, and despite being really busy we got our food pretty quick. Food and their home brew all as good as we remembered. Nice to be back!

    Fried pickles

We love this place!! Everytime we go to lake placid we stop here, Mainly for the service and also for the food. Please bring back the fried pickles. They were out of this world!!!!

    Bitters Burger & Fries

Great tastes Sticky and messy (as expected) wings- I ordered two different styles. Excellent Bitters Burger. Top notch unsweetened Iced Tea Excellent service Good music A+ experience! Took most of it with me for tomorrow's meals. This place has been around for a while and I always meant to stop in when I'm in the area. I finally did and boy am I glad I did. Don't hesitate to try it out.

Locally raised beef for our burger today from 39 Bravo Beef Company!

Not very good. Cold food, poorly seasoned. Below average. I might give you a little break because of Covid. Get a chef. Skip it.

Pretty good for a bar that serves sandwiches, salads, and soups. A bit loud and not really kid/family friendly. Mostly a bar atmosphere.

Awesome menu, including their drinks. The cucumber Ricky is probably my favourite. I'd eat here weekly if I could afford to

The food came out fast and it was incredible. They recommended dessert and drinks. They know their stuff. Left an extra big tip because it is rare to see such top notch service. I think we spoke with every member on the floor during the serving process. They anticipated every want and need. Our server is listed as Alissa S on our receipt. You are awesome Alissa. I really wish we would've found this place sooner as we would've visited more than once! The decor is fairly eclectic and reminiscent of New Orleans French Quarter. Superb cocktail menu! I decided on the Brooklyn, very delicious! My wife enjoyed a glass of wine. We had starters of their popcorn and marinated olives. Another well done taste treat. For our main courses I ordered their grilled pork chop but starting with their spring onion bisque. My wife decided on their hamburger without a bun. Our food was delivered, relatively quickly, just enough time in between our courses! The spring onion bisque was absolutely delicious! My pork chop was perfectly cooked and perfect. I've never had sautéed green onions before, but it was a great compliment to the pork chop as well as the Romasco sauce. My wife's burger looked tasty. She ordered it medium well and was delivered well done. We were too full to even considered dessert. However, that didn't stop me from having another one of those delicious Brooklyn cocktails! My wife thought their restroom was well decorated and very clean as well. Again, wish we would've discovered this place sooner, as we would've been back! Keep up the great work!

We waited awhile until she came with water and took our order. We asked some questions about ingredients in some of the dishes and she wasn't quite sure about that. My friend and I ordered iced coffee and the waitress came back and said they were out of ice. Huh? Strange but true. Needless to say we had hot coffee and she was sweet and comped our coffees. We ordered a piece of the quiche of the day which was artichoke/gruyere and was delicious! We left no crumbs! My husband had the spinach/gruyere cheese crepe which was pretty good. I had the eggs Benedict without potatoes (my friend had it with) which basically took the place of the starch that the eggs sit upon. I thought the potatoes would be served as a side and an English muffin would be on the bottom - wasn't mentioned but I enjoyed nonetheless. Will definitely go back because the food was delicious.
