Pretty neat place in the ever crowded Rice Village. Barely any parking available, but thats a given in Rice Village. Like what the other reviewers are saying, when you walk in, you'll notice the difference between this coffee place vs others. If you still don't know, go find out. Spacious on the inside, there's plenty of room to kick out our legs. There's even a big map of the world and pins to put up of where you're from as well as a nice couch area and a play zone for kids. Our employee helping us was very sweet and able to help guide us to an option we'd like. We walked in and were greeted right away! You order at the counter and instead of asking for your name for the order, they give you a card so when your order is ready, they will call out something like "ace of diamonds" or "king of spades" and you bring your card up to the counter to retrieve your drink. This is only my second time visiting a bitty and beau's coffee shop; the first was in Savannah, GA. I don't remember seeing as much merch at the other location but I know the Savannah shop has some. The Houston shop has a ton of merch and I bought a glass cup. It's not my favorite coffee I've ever had but it's pretty good. I got an iced latte with spiced brown sugar syrup and oat milk. I love the mission of this company so much and love getting to meet different people at the shops I've been to. I absolutely have the goal of visiting other locations and continuing to support Bitty & Beau's. It will be hard to top the first visit where I made friends with Jonah at the Savannah location but today was sweet and can't wait to visit again! In case the owners see this, I hope you consider Austin again. I was sad to see that location not listed on the website anymore because I've told multiple coworkers how excited I was to visit the Houston shop and would love to support locally! While the rest of the family was having fun at the rodeo I had to find a spot to sit down and study for my final. I wanted something other than the usual Starbucks and my maps app showed this place nearby. So I gave it a shot. And I am glad I did. The staff was friendly, the coffee had good flavor, the Asiago cheese bagel was filling, and the opened front door allowed not only the cool air, but also the sound of church bells ring in. Bitty & Beau's coffee is a great coffee shop addition to rice village with an even greater mission to help intellectual and developmentally disabled people feel more valued, accepted, and included in the community. Walking in, this place is huge! I was surprised how spacious it was with a variety of seating areas, and plenty of power outlets for getting some computer work done. You order and pick up your drink from the counter, but the employees here are unbelievably friendly. One of them gave us a handwritten post card saying thank you for visiting. With a variety of merchandise like hoodies and mugs, and a plethora of hot/cold coffee drinks and pastries, there's something for everyone here. We tried their hot spiced brown sugar latte, and their hot swiss chocolate latte. Both drinks were very well balanced, strong coffee flavor, not overly sweet, and their flavoured syrups were spot on in terms of flavor. Bitty & Beau's might be my new favorite chain coffee shop. Their mission is admirable, and their positivity really does spread some kindness in the world. Very different feel than from your normal coffee shop. As you walk up to order you pass a full wall of merch for purchase...mugs/cups/shirts/lunchboxes/etc. Right pass where you order they have a long counter to sit at which reminds me a bit of diner style seating. I was hoping that there would be actual food here, but there were only small items like muffins, pastries, and burritos. I tried the turkey & sausage and it was terrible. Hope in the future they have better foods. The space has a good amount of seating with booths and tables scattered throughout. I came in for a cappuccino and I really enjoyed my drink. Super cuteeee coffee shop! I was alerted it had finally opened! So I popped in! Interior is really cute and welcoming. You are greater upon entry by staff and a lovely young lady took my order at the register. I ordered a 12oz chai latte with oat milk, it was perfect. I also got the gluten free white chocolate cookie. It was fabulous! I definitely will be back! The coffee shop is perfectly placed by my favorite running trail so very convenient. Drove past this place a million times and finally stopped. Inside was surprisingly spacious and empty. Maybe it was just the time of day. Ordered my norm which is always a cold brew with a splash of cream. Coffee was good. Price for 16oz was nearly $6. Way too much in my opinion. Another surprise was how much merch they had. Shirts. Today was my first time visiting Bitty & Beau's and it did not disappoint! I loved the moody vibe of the cafe and there was a ton of great merch and coffee you could buy in addition to coffee. The coffee tasted great and is reasonably priced. They also have a back wall where you can place a pin for your hometown. We got our orders very quick and the baristas were very helpful and sweet. Last but not least, I love the mission of Bitty & Beau's - to make the world a better place for individuals with disabilities. I will absolutely stop by here on my way to work and continue to support their business. My only wish is that it was located somewhere else in the village with better parking, but that's an issue with the village in general. So I love the mission and purpose of this coffee shop-the founders are dedicated to making the world a better place for their children and others living with disabilities. The whole vibe was fun-after you place your order, you're given a card and that's how they call your order out when it's ready. They also had a cool wall that had red pins where everyone was from. I didn't order any food, but I did get a caramel latte. The coffee was ok to me, the coffee tasted watery and it got sweet towards the end so I don't know if it was mixed up well or not. My friends and I were in need of an afternoon pick-me-up after a heavier lunch. We found this spot nearby. The shop is spacious with plenty of room and seating inside. We loved looking at all of the merchandise and artwork/engaging items on the walls. They had running TVs showcasing the coffee shop's history, granted awards and vision--I felt very proud and warm inside learning about the shop's mission. This is definitely an establishment worth supporting. The employee at the register was very welcoming and kind. He took the time to answer our questions and even made suggestions of his own. Tasty, with just the right amount of sweetness for my preference. $3.45 for 16oz size cup, and better flavor than Starbucks! The atmosphere was cozy, a bit loud, but still good with headphones to study and get work done. The management was so gentle with the employees; I overheard one of the supervisors ask if the employee taking orders' blood sugar was low, then helped him go back and check it. The thoughtfulness, patience, and respect was profoundly beautiful. I will be back for sure, but likely at an earlier and quieter time. Parking at noon was difficult, but the parking garage for rice village worked and has free parking for up to 2 hours. read more
