This place is listed on USPS' website as an official drop box location. They have a contract with USPS to accept USPS packages. I tried to drop off a small prepaid, prelabeled 4x4x1 box and they tried to charge me money to do so. I called USPS and they confirmed this is illegal and still be investigating. quite literally the worst mailing system i have ever used, and that's saying a lot because UPS exists. this was a waste of my money. not only did none of the services it supposedly provided not work, but the people who run the physical location don't have anything organized. i wasn't allowed to pick up my mail for 10 minutes because i "didn't" put in my documents (even though i had picked up mail from this location before) 10 minutes later, they found them and finally released my mail to me. i want nothing more than to close my mailbox and be done. read more

I called ahead and confirmed that they offer notary services. The man who answered the phone was very friendly. The office is new and clean. Parking was easy in the lot. The notary was a woman, who was also very nice. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. $10 for a notary signature/stamp (a little pricey or the going rate, I'm not sure). Good service and good people! Don't get confused by the name, they do way more than passport photos. They do everything a full service PO box place would do except fingerprinting. They also provide custom printing and design services. Recently I ordered a rubber stamp for work from them and when it arrived, it was incorrect. Took it back and Patrick told me that they would take care of it. No hassles! I like the fact that there are people interested in customer service. I hate giving this place a bad review but I have had so many issues with them that I have to post this. I have used them for mailing packages because they are right next door to my job - but after the most recent snafu I will not return. Initially I let go some of the things that bothered me but now its like the straw that broke the camels back. 1) They always give you the highest price for shipping - and then youre like wait what? No, I just want usps whatever.... 2) They mark up prices for products - at least $3 or more compared to the post office. I get it, they need to make money though. 3) I have had multiple issues with packages actually getting delivered incorrectly all within the span of a couple weeks. (more on this below) 4) They blame usps and dont seem to want to actually help. I get that some things are out of their control but how in the world have I had problems with every single item I have shipped through them? The packages issue: I own a small business and need to ship orders in a hurry for a reasonable price. I always chose usps flat rate priority which is 2-3 days delivery. I sent a package to my cousin - the next day tracking said 'delivered to Encino'. I called the store and they werent helpful at all and in fact had a bit of attitude with me. They basically blamed me saying 'You should have used ups'. So I call the postal service which is always a pain in the ass, and find out the package is in fact en route however it took a week NOT 2-3 days which is what I paid for. The next incident involved an expensive order - keep checking tracking and it says 'tracking number not found'. Again call the store because Im thinking maybe it didnt get picked up. They swear pick ups happen every day etc.. So I get on the phone with the postal service and they tell me I got the wrong tracking number. Also this was on a Monday it is now Thursday and my customer has not yet received his package. Now, I have to pay $300 out of pocket to resend his order. Next incident- package is getting sent back to me because its not deliverable as addressed - now this is most likely not on them at all but what a coincidence huh? I sent a very expensive overnight out last year and never heard back from the receiver (we were pitching our products) and now I wonder if they ever even got it! I paid $85 for overnight shipping! All in all, you can blame USPS for snafus and for all I know they are doing their job fine BUT I have NEVER EVER in all the time Ive had this business had a single issue shipping anything from an actual post office. I have had an issue almost EVERY TIME I ship with them. Even when people do get their products they are always a week later not 2-3 days which makes me wonder- ARE things getting picked up or missed? Anyways, my business cannot afford anymore mess ups. We were going to get printed materials though them too but Im not going to anymore because of all of these issues. Im just trying to mail out some damn packages ya know! I hope that issues like this get fixed because I want to support small businesses but again, I cant afford anymore fuck ups. read more

I usually give a small business like this the benefit of the doubt. However, on the day in question they were out of stamps... No seriously, a postal business was out of stamps. I paid for digital postage and was assured my mail would be mailed out. This was a rent check, and it's been a week later and my land lord didn't receive it. I figured perhaps one error, though obviously an important mistake. Tried them again, and again digital postage, and they lost my mail again, which was going to an important government office. They claimed they mailed it, and their excuse was "the mail takes 4 or 5 days now, and that it's slower" I claim B.S! They lost it, and won't own up to it, but I can't prove it, so I am out of luck, and now have to reissue payments and order stop payments on the other outstanding checks. A Bizzy Box, I am shocked you're still in business. I would give them half a star if I could, because they're obviously incompetent. read more

I've never had a PO BOX and this is the best experience ever thus far. I receive a lot of packages and the personnel at Bizzy Box immediately call you to let you know. It's very convenient, granted i don't want drive there every day. Super inexpensive as well for a year membership. Not to mention they have a notary on duty, can print just about anything and can ship out packages for you as well. Extremely convenient and friendly. Love it! read more

On one project I had, they gave me shipping choices and informed me of a different way to ship which ended up saving me lots of cash. I have been using this place for years for various postal and notary services and never had a problem. Because of that history, when I needed printing and logo done, I approached them and was told to leave my phone number and Patrick would call me back. He didn't. I ignored that and came in on another day when he was there. He listened to my request, asked me to email him the information for the poster and logo. He never acknowledged receipt of the info despite my request. When I stopped by he said it would be done in 2 days. 2 weeks later I needed to submit a mock up for approval, so I contacted Patrick to get it. He responded it would be done next day. 2 days later I stopped in and he said it would definitely be done within 2 more days. In two days I called and he said it would definitely done by the end of the day. Needless to say, it never happened. Mind you, at no point during this run around was there any apology or indication of regret, concern about undermining a customer. NOTHING! He apparently also designs web sites! I don't think so! The only life situations where I have run into this kind of shameless persistent lying has been with drug addicts. I have no idea what's wrong with this guy. I have used their business for 15 years and I am never setting foot in it again! read more
