Went on a quick trip to SGI on Mother's Day as we were staying about an hour east. Pizza sounded good so we decided to check BJs out. We ordered the white chicken bacon pizza and a few appetizers. The appetizers were out fast and our pizza followed right behind maybe 15-20 mins total time (from ordering to table). The pizza was absolutely perfect and the crust was sooooo good! We love stopping at BJ's for shrimp pesto pizza when we visit the island. My only complaints are it's semi pricey in comparison to other places on the island and it would be great to have some metal flatware for those that need it instead of only offering plastic knives and forks. I do not recommend this place. Terrible service and the pizza is average at best. We stopped by here the first night we arrived, around 8:00 on Sunday night. We were told it would take two hours to get our pizza despite the fact that there were empty tables, many of which were dirty and piled high with trash and dirty dishes. The attitude of the staff was rude. We decided to give it another try after several nights of seafood. We ordered over the phone for pick-up. Told it would be 1 hour and 15 minutes. Arrived to pick up our pizzas on time and the staff was again rude when paying. They act as if they are doing you a favor by serving you. They brought our pizzas out and thankfully we checked them once in the car and before leaving. One pizza was completely wrong. I took it back in and and asked that they correct it. Again, not a single apology or attempt to appease me. Simply told me they would make a new pizza and it would be about 10 more minutes. Finally got our pizza after about 15 more minutes. Not a single apology nor offer to give a discount or any other attempt to right the wrong. The pizza was average. A ton of crust and little cheese/ingredients. About half the pizza was just crust with very little taste. Don't spend your money here. I always come to eat here when I visit St. George. The pizza is good, and brought out in a somewhat timely manner. Although, last time I ate here we ordered a half cheese, half mushroom and sausage pizza, and a waitress brought out a half cheese, half sausage and pepperoni pizza. We were hungry, so we ate the pizza even though it was the wrong order. About 10 minutes later, a different waitress comes out with the correct pizza and implies that we ate someone else's pizza, even though it was brought to our table number. Then she took the correct pizza (half cheese half sausage and mushroom) back inside, and we ended up eating and paying for a pizza that was not ours. Bj's Pizza & Subs is like every small beach town pizza diner. They have outdoor seating and indoor which is nice and the inside isn't too bad, however the service is where is got me. After putting our order in and being told it would take about 35 minutes for our order to be ready, it was an hour and a half later and we were still waiting for our food. When we finally got our food, we got everything that we ordered. I got the pepperoni personal pizza and it was your basic take our thick cheese, good but not worth that long of a wait or price for.
