I've never actually eaten inside, but we love getting their pizza to-go when on the island. Their sides are decent too. It's connected to the sushi place but I'd call ahead before you try to go there to be sure they're open. read more

Nice pizza, good crust, appreciated the spinach artichoke option. As is common on St. George, dogs are invited to the outdoor deck. It was good to be there at sunset as birds chirped in the palm above the pergola. As other reviewers noted, it took a while. But are you not at the beach? Could you not enjoy the slow pace? Could you maybe pretend to be on an island? (joking, you are on an island. Get into a little island time, folks!) Many friendly people, including the servers. I was not thrilled by the crab bites. Those things did not need to be deep fried, or to be bland. Tip: go to Dail's seafood truck and get those incredible crab cakes. Section them and roll them into balls. Saute them. While the food is not bad (who can truly screw up a pizza or a BLT?), the service encountered in the two times I ordered here was awful - but only from the redhead, who seemed to not even want to acknowledge there was a customer standing in front of her. When it takes 40 minutes to get a couple of sandwiches to go and she has no idea what the status of the order is, that spells trouble. The first time, another waitress tried to help and was extremely nice, giving this review an extra 2 stars. The second experience mirrored the first, but without the nice waitress trying to help. Tried this pizza/sub joint with my friends. Off the bat great thick fries. Personally, I ordered the Southwest wrap which was stuffed with cheese and grilled chicken. I would definitely recommend for anyone not on a strict diet and filled me up quickly. My friends got the pizza, meatball sub, and club sandwich. The pizza was nice thin with creamy cheese (I think it was the same as queso) with a thick crust. Good reviews from the sub and club sandwich as well. read more

We ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza from BJ's durning our first night on the island. It was so amazing that we got it a couple more times during our stay and I have been craving it in the months since we have been home! The food was fine if you're hungry, however a lady, whom I assume is the owner came over to me as I held the door open waiting for my husband and daughter to walk through (He was finishing wiping pizza sauce off her face). She asked if she could help me and I said oh I'm just waiting for them. She then rudely said "well close the door." We visited BJ's on Sunday March 21 around noon and ordered two calzones. They came out burned. The crust was very dark, and tasted awful. When we said something to the cashier who took our order, she said that's the way they always cooked them to make sure the inside ingredients melt. There was no apology, and no attempt to fix it. I stopped in for a quick lunch. It was my first time visiting and my last time eating here. I ordered the meatball sub and honestly the experience was disappointing. The price was way too much for the food. Nothing about the sub stood out to charge over $8 bucks for it. The meatballs and sauce were not spiced well, and the bread was cheap. The only positive I found was it was smothered in cheese. But the quality of the sub was low all around and I could have gotten a cheaper one that tasted just as bland somewhere else. The customer service was just ok. No one was rude or petty, just a cold. Working a register can suck...so at least fake being happy. I had the impression the two girls at the counter were just not happy. As this is an island I'm guessing the prices are taking advantage of vacationers such as myself that would have to travel off the island to get pizza and subs. Take my advice...go ahead and travel off the island and get some pizza and subs. read more

Ordered a hamburger and mushrooms pizza and we ate what we did because we were so hungry. There was little mushroom and no tomato sauce making for a very dry pizza.. BJ's is fine if you don't want to leave the island for food, but it's nothing special. Lots of superior options across the bridge. The mozzarella sticks taste weird and are flat, but there are lots of pizza options that are pretty tasty and reasonably priced. I wanted to try the sushi at the connected Island Sushi Company, but the recorded message informed me that, unfortunately, the sushi chef had "disappeared into the night." This place can get very busy, be prepared for 1-2hr wait during busy times on the island. The pizza itself is pretty good, I'd eat here again. We couldn't get through on the phone so popped by and put the order in and then went sight seeing for 1.5hrs. read more

We made this our 1st stop on SGI, stopping for lunch after a long drive. I ordered the chef salad. The salad was large, with fresh, crisp, cold lettuce. The other vegetables were hand cut (not dumped out of a pre-made bag). They fixed it exactly as I ordered. The bread sticks on the side were homemade and arrived hot with a nice garlic salt topping. I was on vacation at SGI and we were in the mood for pizza on the last day. This was the closest pizza place so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they were ok but it seemed like they were of the frozen kind. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and it was very very greasy, thin, and not good crust. The pizza seemed a bit flavor less to me and I ended up putting a lot of Parmesan cheese. If I were to visit SGI again I would prefer to try somewhere else for pizza if it was closer. read more
