I did not feel like anyone much cared about the cleanliness and appearance of the physical restaurant itself, indoor and outdoors. Many times I had to ask my server Dajuan to refill our drinks, pick up the paper trash and dirty dishes from our table. I could barely understand anything he said because his thick mask loosely covering his mouth muffled his mumbled speech horribly. My ziti dish was very tasty but awfully small for the price and somewhat greasy too. My wedge salad was wonderful, being crisp and cold and covered in a delicious blue cheese dressing. My hubby ordered the jambalaya which came out cold and tasted like old mushy food. He returned it to the kitchen and got the fish and chips instead. THAT dish was terrific! We love BJ's! The Aurora location is in our restaurant rotation if we don't feel like cooking. From the second you step inside, staff greets you with a friendly hello, we usually sit in the bar area, and the bar staff is wonderfully friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and through observation of other staff bustling around the restaurant, it's the same, we feel staff genuinely enjoy their job. Food is great! So many options and we have tried the salmon with lemon Chardonnay sauce, the same but with chicken, pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, I can honestly say we haven't been disappointed. Of course some things I like better than others, but that is my preference, not because the dish wasn't good. Check them out, start with their amazing happy hour. Kaylynn our waitress was the worst service ever! After being seated we waited 20-30 mins & no one ever came to our table. We had to get up & ask for someone to come to our table to even acknowledge us. Our waitress brought us water then, never came back. The restaurant was completely dead only a few tables at the end of the night. She complained that, she was having a long day. A kind gentleman took over our order & our waitress was still no where to be found. Her coworkers said saw her standing around doing nothing the whole time. She lied & said she'd be back again & never came back. If she hates working here why does she even bother showing up??? She has a foul mouth dropping f* bombs walking around complaining & there's kids & families nearby. We were looking forward to a nice evening out & she ruined our night. Make this make sense! What a disaster! She's making bj's look bad. I don't think we'll be back again if she's gonna be working here. We had good food and our service was good. The unfortunate things were that the women's restroom was filthy. The restaurant was consistently busy so I understand the heavy use of the restrooms but they do have to get attention. The other thing was, we were seated right across from the waiters station and we observed one of the waitresses come out with a tray of drinks and she mixed up which soda was diet and which was regular so she asked another team member if he could identify which was which. Straight and to the point customer service is shit! Family of 5, got seated by the hosted near two other small families dining. Two waiters walked by and ignored us. A third waiter did the same thing. All the waiters gathered within 15ft at the ordering computer. After 20min we walked out and left. The hosted noticed and asked if we wanted to speak with the manager. My answer no. If the manager is blind to what is going on in the restaurant then there's no need to waste my time. read more

So... we've been patronizing BJ's since before 2008. Since moving to CO a few years ago, we go less frequently since there's no locations in close to proximity to where we live. We've also been using their app to join the waitlist since its debut. On this particular day I checked in and it said the wait time was 40-50 minutes. We arrived 30 mins later and were told the wait time from check-in would be 50-60 mins. I asked to speak with the manager who confirmed our wait time would begin from the time we physically checked in. We were disappointed in this process and left. I completely understand they were busy but did not understand their philosophy with the wait list on the app. Although disappointing, we will still visit in the future. As a gluten free vegetarian I was wary of visiting a chain, but they actually have a separate menu for gluten friendly items and have a very knowledgeable staff! I absolutely loved that their spinach dip was gluten free without the chips (cross contamination). Met some family here for lunch on a Thursday. Plenty of parking and seating. Was able to be seated right away. Tracy was very attentive and took good care of us. I ordered a $5 lunch beer (Hopstorm IPA) and $13 Mediterranean chicken bowl lunch special. Everything we ordered was delivered in a timely manner. My bowl was filled with generous and juicy chicken chunks, plenty of vegetables, and just the right amount of dressing. The lunch portion was perfectly sized. (It's hard to take leftovers home when you're traveling.). My lunch companions ordered the Atlantic salmon and a similar Mediterranean bowl. All of our plates were clean. read more

Well We used to really look forward to visiting a city with a bj restaurant. We rented a car specifically to enable getting here easier. In short. I felt like a number. It didn't used to be this way. In either Las Vegas or Burbank. Seated like a number. Drinks and order like a number. No friendly , even minimalist chit chat , even though it was slow My wife's favorite. The pork chop came without the advertised glaze. Her favorite. We didn't feel like speaking up. When you feel like a number. It seems to be out in a position of having to speak up ... Not rude , maybe the day I went it was short staffed all around ? Food took awhile to come out , and when it did the chicken on my nachos was cold and not tasting that great. The cheese burger sliders were just fine. No big deal on flavor. I think the lavender lemonade was the star . I think I might have to skip BJs right now , it was not what I was hoping for but I wish them well going forward . I hate to leave a bad review but this place deserves it!!!! Service TRASH!!! Food GARBAGE!!! The steaks were too raw, when I ordered med well. The boneless wings barely had sauce but I didn't mind that. The sweet potato fries were soggy. Gross!! A great spot for some late night eats in Aurora. There are not very many places open after 9 PM and this is a great spot after a late night event or if you get off of work late. We enjoy ordering their prime rib special, which comes with a few sides, and a Pizookie. It also has a great selection for those that may have any dietary preferences. They also have a great selection of cocktails, happy hour, specials, and different varieties of beers. There is always ample parking and lots of large and small group dining options. The service is often hit or miss but for the most part service is ok. We have dined there recently over 5x and each time it was ok. The server would take a long time to greet us, take our order, forget things, and also placed the wrong orders. I will say they probably are short staffed, and we are also coming in at the end of the evening/closing, so we don't usually make a big deal about the ok service. We know that we are coming in to the restaurant at the end of the evening and that we are just there to get something to hot to eat that's not a drive thru past 9p. We also enjoy going here because the food is fairly consistent and love that the menu is so expensive that someone can always find something they enjoy. read more

Don't get me wrong, the pizookie was really tasty, I just wish it were bigger or thicker for what you pay. It's a delicious cookie but topped with ice cream, which is mostly what you get. Their root beer is made in-house and THE BEST root beer anywhere. Made in-house!! Along with cream soda & orange soda, all of which are beyond delicious. Staff is always so nice. Wouldn't recommend the Asian salad. So much lettuce and very little toppings. Burgers are big and juicy but the bbq burger could use more bbq sauce (like the photo shows). Let's talk Pizookie. H ordered the fried chicken from their $13 special menu (what a deal - Mon - Fri!) & I wanted leftovers so ordered a full meal of chicken parmigiana & paid extra for the Caesar salad. H & I split the salad which they had divided into 2 bowls which we appreciated. Our orders were a little delayed, but we were not in a rush so no problem there. H's fried chicken was good with sides. My chicken parm looked like it was sitting around for 1/2 hr., had hardly any sauce & the pasta was not hot. I ate what I could & had leftovers. H had a small pazooki coming which they mistakenly made as a large/normal one which we shared. Personally, I'm not a fan of the pazooki & would prefer if the cookie was not so soft. We had an incredibly disappointing experience at BJ's Restaurant. We were there for over an hour, mostly waiting for our server, Jalen G., to bring our food. We ordered pretzels as an appetizer, but when we asked about them after waiting a while, Jalen told us they were out. However, when the manager came over to check on us, she mentioned that our pretzel order had actually been canceled--most likely because Jalen forgot to put it in. Jalen then proceeded to defend himself aggressively and the manager didn't stop him or ask him to leave. If he worked for me he would have been terminated on the spot. The manager did discount the lunch but that was completely insufficient. She needs to manage her disrespectful employee. This was truly a horrible experience. Not only were we lied to, but the wait was just ridiculous. No one checked on us or kept us informed, and the overall service was very poor. We won't be returning anytime soon. read more
