What a shame. The food was pretty darn good, but the service was absolutely pathetic...especially given that it was barely past 11am and the place was empty. Our waitress clearly had better things to do than actually wait on customers. She never checked on us, left my drink empty, and only became attentive when it was time to pay (even interrupting my dessert to ask if she could take away the ticket). Strange. On a good night they have great food and the dine-in wait staff is always really friendly. Unfortunately the service is hit or miss at best. Often food comes out cold, and to-go orders are constantly missing items or messed up completely. One manager named Scott is awesome though! Food was ok, service was horrible, probably the worst service I ever experienced in a chain restaurant!! Waited 15 minutes for drinks, after waiting 10 minutes to place a drink order. Ordered a cheeseburger, onions only--it came wrong, got sent back, another 10 minutes!! Finally get food, can't get a drink refill, by this point I'm over it, just want to pay and leave,. Manager comes by, apologizing for wrong burger, but never offering to fix anything or make it right. Finally I order a rootbeer to go and never got it!!! I would not recommend this location to anybody. I've ate at the BJ's in Louisville and Greenwood, always had good service and good food. The food here is great but the service levels are no where near where they need to be. Having dinner there last night our party place our drink order first and after 15 minutes the server finally came back and said the beer I ordered was out of stock (a local beer), after changing the order it was another 15 minutes before the beer finally arrived which no longer had a head on it and was an inch below the top of the glass. The restaurant still insists on using the "pad" to take the order but the the menu is so large it takes over 5 minutes for the server to find everything and take the order. All of these items could be solved with some training and this is something that management really needs to address. read more

The food was exquisite! I had the ribs with sweet potato fries and a ceasar salad and it was all amazing! They have their very own dessert which is an absolute must ( I recommend the monkey bread).The service was really good as well and although they forgot our dessert (or maybe it just took 30 min to make), the waitor was very kind and immediately apologized for the delay. The inside is very atmospheric and welcoming which only adds to the dining experience. However I must say that considering that we went in august and the weather was so nice, it was a shame that they put the AC on such a low temperature. We were shivering all night! The BJ's at Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville, IN has been a local favorite of my mom and I's for quite some time. To us, there's nothing better than ending a 'girl's day' spent shopping at the HTC mall with BJ's delicious food, upbeat environment, and reliable service! Our ritual has always been to start with an appetizer, split an entrée, and finish off with their famous salted-caramel Pizookie as a desert. Simply put, nothing on their menu has ever failed us! Because I always miss this tradition when I come back to school here in Bloomington, I was so thrilled when the BJ's at the College Mall opened in September. Back when it first opened, my roommates and I had just finished a stressful week of exams. Needless to say, we were in need of a good dinner and ended up here. However, unfortunately, the overall experience was subpar. Let me tell you, there's really no better way to irk the nerves of a few stressed out college students than to make them wait over twenty minutes for their beers and an hour and a half for their food. But, when we left, we decided to chalk it up to them just being a newer establishment and agreed we'd give it another chance someday. So, that "someday" was last week - and apparently five months was too soon. This time, the experience was not only subpar - it was a full-blown disgrace! The evening began with another long wait on our beers - only this time it was over thirty minutes! We then made the apparent mistake of ordering an appetizer, which never came out. Then, when our meals finally arrived after another hour, two out of three of them were completely the wrong entrées and mine was missing my side of mac n' cheese. So, the waitress took the meals back to the kitchen to be "corrected" - which then took another thirty minutes! Once our meals arrived, we tried to forget about the wait and enjoy our food. But, that turned out to be unacceptably impossible. Let's just say, we were probably better off just letting them forget my side of mac n' cheese since it ended up tasting alarmingly similar to a stick of chalk. I mean honestly, how hard is it to get mac n' cheese right? In addition to that, everything was cold and to say our burgers were 'overcooked' would be a total understatement. After politely addressing our concerns to the waitress (as we were aware that this was not 100% her fault), we were offered free Pizookies to-go for the inconvenience. At this point, we probably should have respectfully declined the offer because it only took up ANOTHER twenty minutes of our time. And then, to top it all off, the Pizookies - which we dug into at home later that night - were our final disappointment. Like me, you're probably wondering, "How is it even possible to make a giant cookie with ice cream on top taste BAD?" Well, they pulled it off! As such a loyal customer to the BJ's in Noblesville, I am beyond disappointed that I had to write this review. The food was good, but the service left a little bit to be desired. I had to ask if someone was waiting on our table. It was about 10 minutes before someone even asked us for our drink order. The staff cleaning the table actually tried to clear everything -- including our drinks -- before we had finished the appetizer. We had a discount because we had signed up for the app. We told the waitress that before we received our bill and when the bill came, she had forgotten to take the discount. Decided to come to BJs for a casual dinner with friends. We had to wait for a table the hostess stated about 30 mins, ended up being more like 15, so that was nice. We did not make a reservation so we anticipated the wait. Once seated we received prompt service, and drinks right away. The waitress gave us great food recommendations, the Santa Fe entree salad is HUGE and really good, perfect amount of dressing and really fresh ingredients. Too full from dinner to try their signature pizookie but we had great views of the games going on. Overall, definitely a place to revisit. read more

Service was very poor. I don't recommend going if you want to watch a specific sporting event. We went, asked if we could get the PGA championship game on one of the TVs. We were told we could, it would just be a little while until a server or the cook could change the channel. We were there over an hour and in that time, despite asking multiple requests, neither found the time to change the channel. The two gentlemen next to us were asking for the same thing as well. I find it hard to believe that they couldn't find the time to change the channel and I'm also surprised that only two people know how to change it. Our waitress was very inconsiderate. When our food arrived, we still did not have silverware. And when I asked for it, it took 3 minutes for us to get it. We were there on free pazooki day and, when we told her our order and double checked that they would be free, she was very curt in telling us that we needed a coupon. Had lunch there today. Our server was totally in the weeds and I would venture to say the kitchen was too. We ordered a chicken sandwich and a burger. It took 45 minutes to get them. The restaurant wasn't busy. It wasn't slow either, but plenty of empty tables. That said the food was ok at best and our server only checked on us maybe one time. Upon getting ready to leave we had to wait to receive our check longer than we should and then had to wait for our server to collect our payment. BJ's is pretty good so far. I've dined there about 4 times so far. The service is alright, but the food has been great. I've tried many of the dishes, of which they have quite the variety (their menu is huge): the Portobello Swiss burger, Black and Bleu burger, Lemon Thyme Chicken, mozzarella sticks, Santa Fe salad (with shrimp), Root Beer float, the house salad, the Cookies and Cream Pizookie, and the Salted Caramel Pizookie. One of the things I enjoy most about these items and their menu is that they do list the calories of all their options. Very helpful for the health-conscious. All the food was delicious and came out really fast. The only negative encounter I've had so far at BJ's was the last time I dined there. The waitress accidentally dropped three full glasses of tea and water near our booth. The glasses shattered and liquid thoroughly splashed on our shoes and pants. When the manager came to assist us and ask if everything was alright, he didn't bother offering us any sort of discount or offering to cover our dry cleaning or anything that I would expect from my manager. He barely gave condolences, either. Just a bit odd and left us feeling a bit lacking. read more

I have to say I and my colleagues are extremely disappointed in our take out from BJ's Restaurant today. Two of us ordered the Santa Fe salad and the chips on top were stale and the salad was NOT crisp...i don't think it was even romaine. My other colleague ordered the Black and Bleu burger and it was a plain burger with nothing...no bleu cheese, no bacon, no tomatoes, no chipotle. Very unsatisfactory experience. Yes, the atmosphere is cool and menu is huge. But our Honey Siracha Brussel Sprouts appetizer arrived totally brown/black/burnt to a crisp. Not a trace of green on that plate. The only detectable seasonings in my "Lemon Thyme" Chicken were the "rub" and an excessive (!) amount of salt. The top-shelf margarita my dinner partner ordered was a waste of money because the glass was over 3/4 full of ice. He did like his Seared Ahi Salad. Horrible experience!!! Went with large group for a party. More than half of the groups order was cold and the remaining had to wait FOREVER to receive food. One order was forgotten entirely and the waitress didn't even notice. He didn't get his meal until everyone else was finished eating. At no time did the manager come out to check on our group. You'd think with all the issues with orders the manager would come to apologize...NOPE!!! One of our members went to talk with the manager and was told he'd look into the issue. When we got the check nothing was done. Come on, with that many problems at least comp the appetizers. I've had similar situations at other restaurants but been compensated for the problem. THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE IVE EVER BEEN. do not go here. My friends and I decided to go here for my birthday dinner and it turned out to be a complete disaster. First off, the restaurant was very cold and we had been rained on, so when they sat us at a table under a vent, we politely asked if we could move to one of several empty booths. The host was extremely rude about it, snatched up the menus from our table, didn't say a word to us and threw our menus down on a booth. After that, our waiter was awful. He was rude. never refilled our drinks, never checked on us, did not come back ONCE to the table. the food took 1 hour to come out. It was ice cold. After that, we asked for the birthday dessert. That took upwards of 30 minutes (a small cookie w/ ice cream). Finally, I politely asked for a manager and told him about our experience and not ONE thing was done about it. No apologies, nothing. The first time I came here, I got super sick from something I ate (it was some kind of shrimp taco). I let it slide because it was only a week or two after opening. Now, it is pretty good. Great beer and excellent specials. The layout is neat and a little goofy, but it works well. Has never been overly busy when I have been there. Will give it another try! read more
