I've been here a few times and enjoy it, but tonight was especially great. I came in with my two best friends and my boyfriend, and our server Nick really made the experience better. He was super attentive, matched our energy, and made sure to read everything back (which I appreciated since I had a few accommodations with my food). We could tell he had a ton of tables and even a really big party he was taking care of, but he still made sure we were checked on and never felt forgotten. You could tell he was busy, but when he was at our table it wasn't that awkward feeling of hurry up or something, which we really appreciated. Also, I never like pizza, but I tried my boyfriend's hot honey pepperoni pizza and it was SO good--like actually shocked at how much I liked it. The pizookies were amazing as always, and my friend's mac and cheese bites with the queso were sooo good too. Overall just a really fun night with great food and great service!

Started with House Wedge Salad which was good a nice portion. The blue cheese dressing was a bit thin, usually it's creamier. Select beers were $5 on Wednesdays which was a good deal and nice to try a different type. The southern fried chicken was okay. The chicken was a bit dry and some of the breading a little charred/tough. The mashed potatoes were good. The salted caramel pizookie was SO good! It was a mini one but perfect to share.

It could have been a hotter temp..... but we all enjoyed the major part of our meals. Definitely, would go back when we get down in the area.

Awesome place! We came here on a Wednesday evening! Our waiter was fantastic. I had the brisket burger. I was expecting it to have slices of brisket but it was shredded brisket. Still overall good flavor but I was slightly disappointed that it was shredded. I didn't know what drink to get but our waiter was willing to ask the bartender to make me something with vodka and sweet. He ended up getting me a cranberry vodka. My friends got a bacon cheeseburger and a veggie burger. They were both pleased with their meals.
Walked here from our hotel for dinner and some football viewing; so of course we sat in the bar area. The restaurant was clean and nicely lit. Our server Deja was very friendly, attentive and accommodating. We could not have had a better server! We ordered the grilled Chicken Alfredo and an espresso martini for me. The martini was what you'd expect at a sports bar, but the Alfredo was good with perfectly cooked broccoli. More Alfredo sauce would make it better.
I came with Mrs. K and 3 of her friends. I was asked to go with my wife and her friends four times. When it came time for the check, I, being the only male, was given the check. Ah, now I understand The service, while not perfect, was not the worst I've experienced. The orders were taken through an innovative electronic device that directly sends the food to the kitchen. However, there were a few glitches, such as a forgotten side order, which seemed to be a recurring issue. I couldn't determine if it was a kitchen or server error. No one had one negative thing to say about the food. I had the chicken parm, Mrs. K. and one of her friends had a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, another had the half rack of ribs, and they looked nice, and the third had shrimp tacos. While not being close to home, I would not mind coming again.

A Chain Eatery That's Also A Brewpub We try to avoid chain eateries and give our business to locals, but this place does have some really good food and is a beer lovers haven (and heaven). Daily Specials make for an even better experience. We have been to several BJ's out west and always felt they deliver well. We were near this place and the Wednesday Special was $12 Loaded Burger with Unlimited Fries and $5 BJ's Signature Beers. We couldn't pass it up. Not every BJ's is a brewery, but they do brew their own beers and distribute those to their non-brewery locations. The $5 beers are on taps and only what they brew. I personally find the selection to meet my needs well. On this visit I had the Tatonka Stout, 8.5%, a little sweet, a little bitter, a Jeremiah Red, 7.3%, Irish style red ale, and a PM Porter, 5.5%, nitro dark ale, chocolaty, creamy and smooth as a nitro should be. Three great crafts at $5 each. Can't beat that. The food. Oh yeah, they have food and it's good. The burger special applies to any of the six burgers they sell. My wife loves brisket and chose the Hickory Brisket and Bacon Burger. This burger normally sells for $17.99. A very substantial sandwich with hickory smoked shredded brisket piled atop a half pound burger along with bacon, jack and cheddar cheeses, red onion, peppery (not too) bbq sauce and mayo on a bakery bun. I chose the Smokehouse Burger ($16.99 menu price) which is basically a bacon cheeseburger with an onion ring. It was great. Both burgers came with unlimited fries, but there's little chance anyone will need more fries after eating the first serving. We have had their flatbreads and they are also very good. Come for the beer, stay for the food.

If you drop off your vehicle at Costco for some work that takes about an hour, you can easily walk to numerous restaurants while you wait. We decided on BJ's because we had not been there before and have wanted to try it. It is about a .25 mile walk. We were immediately greeted and seated. I like the inside vibe - a little darker and a lot of wood. We found it to be a casual and comfortable atmosphere. I also enjoyed the music they were playing. Plus, although many people were talking, it didn't seem loud. Our server was friendly and mostly efficient. We had to remind her on our requested extra ranch dressing. The smash burger arrived about 5 minutes before the soup and salad, which was curious. Someone from the kitchen delivered the burger and our server actually went back to get the soup and salad. The iced teas tasted very fresh and our server kept our glasses full. The smash cheese burger and fries were tasty. I found the house salad with ranch and cheddar cheese broccoli soup to be fresh and flavorful. The salad was cold and the soup was hot. I thought the portions were generous. I do suggest that whoever cleans the bathroom surfaces turn up the lights while cleaning. The surfaces were dusty and smudgy. Otherwise, we enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. read more

Oh how I'm missed BJ's Brewhouse in Hagerstown, Md. I just discovered there's one close to work in my new home; Cape Coral/Fort Myers Fl. I visited for lunch, upon arrival sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender; Destiny. Ordered a flight of margaritas and they were absolutely delicious and did not disappoint me in any way shape or form. I ordered the $13 Pizookie meal. Mine was chicken Parmesan with Penny pasta and a strawberry shortcake Pizookie. Everything tasted perfect and to finish it off. I had the Berry burst cider, which is very refreshing and one of my favorites. I will return here again in the near future! I loved the music playing over the speakers. We ordered margaritas skinny style and they still gave them to us at happy hour prices. I've been here several times and always had a great experience. My family and I went recently for my birthday and our server was so sweet and even offered a free pizookie as a birthday treat. The food was delicious and everything came out perfect. I really enjoyed the California flatbread and mac and cheese balls for our appetizer. My main entree was the Parmesan crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Chicken came out moist and potatoes were creamy and buttery. My favorite part was dessert. The strawberry shortcake pizookie is by far my favorite flavor. It is only available for a limited time sadly but it wasn't too sweet and the fresh strawberries on top added a nice touch. read more

Such a great Friday evening! We had a lovely Friday night out at BJ's this weekend. Joshua was a fantastic, attentive server and we enjoyed some of their delish appetizers. It's been a while since we've dined here and I forgot how diverse their menu is! So many good choices. We shared their Mac & Cheese couscous bites (cheesy perfection) and tuna poke (fresh and great guacamole). BJ's never disappoints! If there is an issue with something whether it's good or drinks, They make it right! Food was really good. Atmosphere is very nice. We went here before our Florida Everblades Hockey game. Our server Thomas was very professional and friendly. One of our guests had ordered asparagus and it arrived at our table and it was literally doused with salt. Thomas quickly acted and asked how he wanted it prepared. To which the guest replied no salt or seasoning whatsoever. A fresh cooked asparagus arrived on a plate snd it was perfectly done to their liking. Great fast lunch. I had Tortilla soup and sausage pizza lunch special. My husband had the wedge salad ( I'd order the blue cheese dressing on the side next time, as it was a bit too much for our taste- but the blue cheese was good.) and half a chicken club sandwich. We also shared the seasonal margarita flight- which was cute and tasty!!! The food was fresh and tasty as well. Hayley, our server, was great! Dining expectations for combined quality and convenience were critical elements in our decision to try BJ's. We were returning from a road trip across Florida from east to west and BJ's was in the right location at the right time, so in we go. They're located in a freestanding building adjacent to the 75 interstate in a shopping center and there's plenty of convenient free parking. Restaurant is clean and inviting. We sat in the bar area to take it manage of the happy hour which runs until 7 PM. It's a long bar with a tremendous selection of beers. The pairs of lit lit up bottles of spirits make the back bar attractive, definitely a good way to merchandise the liquor. Guaranteed, they'll have something to please you on tap. Since we were on a road trip, we were quite tame on our drinking/consumption. important to note,my wife was totally pleased with her wine selection and I just had one domestic beer because I was the driver. Drink prices were reasonable and the half-price appetizers were amazing. We had the personal pizza with everything on it. For my main meal I ordered the prime rib special. No wild descriptive adjectives needed here, the beef was seasoned perfectly and cooked rare, the way I wanted it. The meat was accompanied by broccoli and rice pilaf sides. Included with the dinner special was a fresh garden salad and an amazing triplechocolate dessert. Service was good and importantly the restaurant managers check on the tables and appear happy to pitch in if there are additional needs to ensure your satisfaction. We were surprised to find BJ's in Florida. In fact, they are a West Coast company specializing in hand crafted beers. It's nice to know they have this location established in Southwest Florida and we will be back. Salute! read more

I just love a good Happy Hour on Valentine's Day. BJ's is one of those places where you can enjoy not only good food, drinks, and atmosphere at the bar for Happy Hour. Drinks start at $3 and appetizers at $5. They have so many options and they were appealing. Also, the prime rib was also another deal at $27 which included a salad or soup and dessert of your choice. Another deal was their personal pizza during Happy Hour. They are half price! So my pizza was like $6.75, and it was delicious and tasty. The atmosphere in the bar area is relaxing and spread out. They have quite a large space so it's easy to get served and it's first come first served. The wait staff was friendly and helped us thru the menus and drink specials. What made this meal fun and enjoyable was the vibe of the restaurant. It's open and they have several tv's with an awesome bar background. It's easy to hang out and enjoy the delicious entrees and desserts. Speaking of dessert, you have to try their warm chocolate cookie with chocolate ice cream on top in a mini skillet. It's amazing! We weren't in the mood for the national chains in the area, like Olive Garden and PF Chang's, so we picked BJ's for a quick lunch before flying home. This restaurant is located in a large complex of restaurants and stores, just minutes from the SW Florida International Airport. Walking in to this large, airy space you'll see warm, inviting booths and dark wooden tables, brick accent walls, and LOTS of TVs. Ah, so it's a Sports Bar, I thought. It looks like there would be plenty of room for cheering on your favorite team, grabbing some food, and perusing their extensive bar. The menu here is ridiculously huge. Their true craft beer selection is about 12; the rest are big brewery version of craft beer (like Leinie, Coors, etc.). Our server greeted us right away and I had to ask about the signs advertising "Pizookies." These are like mini-deep-dish pizza cookies topped with ice cream. They come in a diabetes-inducing variety of flavors, from sugar to salted caramel to chocolate chunk. I wasn't very hungry, so I just ordered the crispy potstickers, which are hard to screw up tbh, as they're usually frozen. They were perfectly crispy, plump, and quite yummy. My brother chose the Brewhouse Burger, a nicely-seasoned, juicy burger on a toasted bun. Not only can you select your temp, you have 4 bun choices, 8 cheese choices, and about a dozen sides. If we hadn't been about to fly, he would have tried a couple of craft beers. Maybe next time! read more

Nobody had any drinks and I was the only one that had an ice tea the other three boys had water. We ordered one flatbread appetizer and an order of sweet potato fries as an appetizer. The flatbread was great, the sweet potato fries came out on a saucer it was a little side portion, I didn't even actually look at the bill to see how much they charged me for it but I expect she either rang it up wrong or they brought out the wrong thing because that was not an appetizer it was like 15 very delicious sweet potato fries on a plate. I could've ate three of those plates. Especially when you're eating with three starving college boys. My son had a burger with guacamole on it and it was delicious he says. It looks good and it was cooked correctly. One of the other boys had some sort of Mexican thing that came with chips and he said it was good. Another one got a different burger and said it was good. I got this noodles with peanut sauce thing. That was a bad choice. I asked for the sauce on the side because it said it was spicy but it was not spicy in the slightest. The sauce is so odd it tasted like peanut butter mixed with vinegar. So it was some gray colored noodles which were supposed to be soba noodles kind of crinkly like Ramen in a dish with some broccoli and a little bit of shredded carrots. It was supposed to come with sesame seeds and sliced almonds and some other stuff and none of that was on there so it was literally just some limp noodles in a bowl with some limp broccoli and two 1 in.² pieces of chicken. It looked terrible and tasted about the same as it left. That was the only downside to our meal. Now I know what not to get. Look if you're an American restaurant you should probably not try to do Asian food just saying. I think if I would've gotten one of those fat juicy cheeseburgers I would've been much better off although I was trying to spare my arteries a little bit. The service was OK, this time of Covid I find myself tipping over 20% even for mediocre service. The girl was nice enough and she did swing by a couple times, when I told her that the noodles were Terrible after she asked, (I did not call her to tell her I didn't like it but she noticed my plate was full when everybody else was done) so she turned around and five minutes later a 20 something kid came by. He did not identify himself and he was dressed more or less the same although he specifically asked me about the noodles. He seemed very apathetic about asking me and it was so obvious he really didn't even care and was just going through the motions. He literally rolled his eyes at me. I was thinking look I didn't ask you to come over here I didn't ask for a manager and I didn't ask for a discount but he apparently felt obligated to come over. Look I have done that job for 20 years before I moved on and I get it that it's tiring to listen to people bitch all the time. But you got at least make a token effort to smile, it's nice if you identify yourself and not just pop up and ask a question and literally turn around midsentence and walk away. That kid had no business being a supervisor or manager whatsoever. His customer service skills are a -1 out of 10. I would tell you his name except he didn't identify himself and he only spoke one sentence before turning away halfway through my explanation. I would give them three stars except somebody deducted that dinner from my check. So I guess I can live with them being borderline rude. I did order the caramel brownie thing for the table and it was amazing. I might go back there but it's certainly not on the top of my list. read more
