Today was our second visit to Chuck Lager Legendary Kitchen. My wife and I didn't realize that on weekends, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the restaurant serves its brunch menu. We had assumed brunch was only offered on Sundays, like many other restaurants. After explaining the situation to our server Rhya, she went above and beyond by speaking with the head chef to see if we could order from the full menu. Thanks to her kindness and willingness to help, the chef gladly accommodated our request. Rhya truly delivered outstanding customer service and earns 10,000 stars in our book! Now for the food... My Mt. Kilimanjaro Burger was absolutely phenomenal--easily one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The thick-cut bacon was cooked to perfection, and the melted cheese tied everything together for an unforgettable bite. The Southwest Chicken Bowl was generously portioned, and every ingredient was fresh and flavorful. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the entire dish was delicious from start to finish. The Citrus Salmon was another winner. It was cooked perfectly and served with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. I highly recommend it! As a veteran, I also want to sincerely thank Rhya for extending a military discount on my meal. Gestures like that are always appreciated. The interior of the restaurant features a spacious open-concept design with a warm, rustic charm. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The interior is modern, clean, and has a nice atmosphere, although it can get pretty loud. There's even a motorcycle displayed inside, which is a fun touch. The food was just average for the price, and overall I felt it was a little expensive for what you get. Came here for trivia and loved it! Complimentary house made chips and dips were fire!! We each had something different but we all loved our dishes. Our server Maia was great and very attentive. Only negative was the shade/blinds that were down behind us (we sat outside) as the storm started to move in the blinds were not secured and kept hitting us through out our meal. Staff didn't seem to think it was an issue, but definitely would have been a better experience if that wasn't part of it. read more

Very solid experience! Came in around 5:30 on a Sunday and the place was relatively empty, so we were sat right away. We started off with drinks and nachos! Very good! Some of the jalapeños were extremely spicy! I had their mango jerk chicken tacos. Very flavorful. I'd probably order them again. My husband had their Mahi Mahi tacos... his only complaint was that while they were good, they had too much cabbage. He said more of a cabbage taco than a fish taco. So that was a smidge disappointing. Overall, we had great service and the food was extremely speedy! We are not from the area, just passing through, but would visit again! read more

Came here with a party of 4 and we were seated right away, which was a great start. The outdoor area was packed and had live music, so the place definitely had a lively atmosphere. Inside, there's a big dining room and a solid full-service bar, so it feels like a good spot if you're looking for something casual with a lot of options. To start, I ordered Chef Fabio's special meatballs and the smoked cheese. The smoked cheese was probably the better of the two appetizers for me. The smoke flavor with the red sauce worked really well and made it a pretty tasty starter. The meatballs were good, but I thought the presentation and flavor combo was a little strange. They're served over polenta with a sweeter pomodoro sauce, and I personally would have liked a deeper, richer red sauce instead. For my entrée, I got the chicken marsala and swapped the sides for broccolini and roasted fingerling potatoes. Since I changed the sides, I can understand why the plate looked a little thrown together, but the presentation was still a little off. That said, the chicken itself was cooked well and the marsala sauce was more of a thick gravy-style sauce. Service was good throughout the meal, and overall I'd say Chuck Lager is solid for what it is. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out as great either. My biggest takeaway is that the menu feels too big and a little all over the place, and I think that makes it harder for the kitchen to really excel at any one thing. read more

It is also served as name for an upscale casual restaurant chain from Maryland, New Jersey and Florida with names like Chuck Lager Travern or Chuck Lager Legendary Kitchen. Its menu is designed by Chef Fabio Viviani with favorites from bars like wings, meatballs, flatbreads, salads, tacos, handhelds, pastas, burgers, fish, steak and chicken entrees. A franchise owner took over a former Chili space at Alico Road in Gulf Coast Town Center and renovated into Chuck Lager Legendary Kitchen. There are inside and outside tables with two bars serving some of their craft Bourbon and Beers. We walked in around 5:30 PM without reservation. It is not packed and we were seated immediately. There were pictures of Chuck Lager visiting Bavaria, Germany, Claret, France, and Brooklyn, New York and Santiago, Chile. I cool off with a Yuengling and ordered the Today's Special, Red Snapper Piccata while wife ordered a smoked brisket with cheese handheld. Her handheld is essentially a grilled cheese sandwich with little brisket. The red snapper filet was poached and dressed with capers, tomatoes and Brussel sprouts over mashed potato. I love Brussel Sprout grilled but this Brussel Sprout is miniature size just slightly bigger than size of dime. The red snapper filet was OK but the plate was drowned with olive oil. Both dishes were just OK but nothing exciting to report! I was disappointed with this red snapper dish for $34. No dessert for us tonight! Our server was very attentive and friendly! The story: Mr. Chuck Lager befriended a Mr. Kris Kringle and traveled around the world to try all the foods and all the drinks. So yea..he is a fictional character... With 3 bars..this place will bring in the crowd. The food is a mixed American affair. My top 4 samplers from the vip event were as follows: pulled pork slider, truffle mushroom white cheddar flat bread, Nashville hot chicken sliders, and the cavatappi pasta. If sweet creative drinks are your thing...go for the cotton candy martini...they have a cc(no not a credit card machine) machine in their kitchen. If alcohol content is your vibe...the heavy lifter stout sits pretty at 8.6 abv. The staff there was very attentive and nice as well. I shall be returning. read more

The good the bad the ugly of this restaurant. First our server didn't realize we were her table. She was sweet , not a big deal. Bar was slow, place was chaotic. Multiple servers tried to bring us other people's food. My drink was disgusting. Straight booze , which most people will love but I'm a lightweight and there was supposed to be multiple juices in it and it tasted awful. Literally I could not drink it. Appetizers never came so my husband had enough and we left. It's a new place so they are still having " growing pains" in my opinion and it's insanely busy which doesn't help. Once the novelty and the newness dies down, I'll give this place a try again. But for now, it's not somewhere I would go. read more

Had an invite to the soft opening and loved the food. The chicken wings were delicious. Meat fell off the bone. Meatballs, flatbread and sliders were tasty. We also sampled the craft lagers. We had great service! The bartender was super friendly and gave us the background history of the restaurant and made some yummy suggestions. I had spaghetti and meatballs and it was great! Tasted just like homemade and was a big portion. I couldn't believe it use to be a Chili's, even though I knew it was. The restaurant is very nice looking , clean , a lot of room to comfortably sit. The menu is limited but has a good number of handhelds and flatbreads . Ordered a specialty burger and asked to have pink in the middle. Unfortunately the burger arrived and was overcooked, no pink. French fries had no real flavor/taste. My wife had a wedge that they graciously chopped for her, flavor was good however pretty skimpy. Add a Coke and water and we had a $50+ lunch. All in all not a good value . read more

One of the worst meals I've had in eight years of living in this area. The service was awful, the food took forever, and when the food did arrive, it was cold and had no flavor. The lights above our table didn't even work and kept coming on and off. The manager did come over and multiple people apologized for how slow everything was, so kudos to them for acknowledging that they are having major problems in their first month of being open. I never write reviews, but this was so bad I had to document this. Give it at least six months for them to get their act together before trying, if they're even open that long. read more

Visited this new restaurant last night and had a great experience. Kelsey A was our server and was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious - my husband had a cup of the tomato basil soup and raved over it. We split the Philly cheesesteak and it was so good. We specifically tried the cheesesteak because it was served on an Amoroso roll which is undoubtedly the best roll for a cheesesteak. Restaurant was a nice temperature (some restaurants in Florida are always freezing). Nicely decorated, clean. The music was a little loud at first but they did turn it down later. Why didn't I rate it a five? Just little things - I had to ask to have the soup brought out before the cheesesteak; I had to ask for salt and pepper; and I had to ask for ketchup for the fries. I have NEVER left a bad review in my life before but this justifies it - a really terrible experience. Went in with a friend and it wasn't busy at all yet it took over 15 minutes just for our drink order to be taken. Food came out cold and they put sauce on the sandwich I asked for on the side. When I told them it took another 20 minutes for the correct sandwich to come out. Manager Kelly was very dismissive and rude when I told her my friend had finished their food before mine even reached the table. My friend said her food was sub par at best. Uninspiring visit. Got there at 12:30 or so. 80 out. All the patio table still had stools stacked on them. No greeter at front for a minute or so because all they had working was a bartender and one server who were trying but needed help. Bartender sat us, server came by a few minutes later. Was very friendly, told us about the restaurant. Took drink order and returned with drinks. She came back probably 5 minutes later as she had too many tables. Took order then. We got pork sliders and the famous meatball sub. Food came in decent time. Famous meatball sub was not really good. Overwhelming flavor of raw garlic. Not much sauce and could not taste the ricotta that was supposed to be in the meatballs. Got the fries for $1 extra. They were ok. Pork sliders had very little sauce and very dry. Side order or sweet potato fries was huge. Server kept drinks filled and was very nice but she should have had support. Never saw a manager. The door has a space for a general managers name but it was empty. Pictures in the hallway of management team had no GM either. Maybe they are already missing one. It seems like during season so close to opening you would want a bit more staff on to grow sales. Tightening the belt already leads to this type of experience. The building itself left me wondering why it took so long to open. Not much to it. Pretty much felt like a rectangular space with a motorcycle at the entrance. One and done. Server did the best she could but no way they can make any connection with guests when they are the only one on the floor. We waited 15 minutes after being seated with a reservation for him to come to the table for our drink order. So we ordered drinks and an appetizer. The food came out in 15 minutes and we still didnt have our drinks yet. Luis never apologized or told us the daily specials. We ordered our meals they came out in 20 minutes and were delicious. Luis was running around the dining room and bar confused but never checked on us. We ran out of drinks, weren't offered desert and then had to wait a very long time to get the check. Given that they have only been open a couple weeks they still need some tweaking. Greeted well and sat at the bar. James was friendly and polite. Asked for IPA house brew- out. Asked about the Pale City Hazify ( that's Palm City brewery about a mile west) -out as well. Get the name right please. Settled for domestic beers. Had a couple HH appetizers. They were good. Next shift showed up. Not one said"Hi" or even acknowledged us. Odd. It was a slow time of day and we were the only ones at the bar. Time will tell. It's tough opening a new place. read more

Overbooked large groups for lunch with regular patrons. In our group of 40 local women, most waited an hour for their meals but many had to box their meals up and take them to go after 2 hours. Then our checks were printed out, laid on a table and we had to find our own and give to the manager while we stood in line. Totally unacceptable! Get your act together!! read more

Came here with a group of 5. Had such a great meal here the other night. The Thai chili wings are the best wings I've ever had. Also the Brussels sprouts are delicious. Ordered the black bean bowl and didn't know it was a cold dish.. definitely something the waiters should warn or ask guests about because I was under the impression that it was going to be a hot plate of black beans rice corn etc. The black rice also was inedible because it was more of a puree than rice.. way too much water when cooked. I also got the cucumber margarita drink (can't remember the name) but it was too thick and hard to drink because of the blended cucumber so not really an enjoyable experience. My fiancé got the burger and he said the patties just tasted like frozen patties.. which I tried and could confirm.. the burger had absolutely no seasoning or flavor at all. Just frozen burger taste. Overall, the food was not great but the staff was very friendly and informed so all good! I know the restaurant is newer and the menu is still being revised so totally understandable but I'd either take out the black bean bowl or at-least warn people it's a cold plate. Also need to do fresh burger patties because we can taste the frozen patties and it's just nasty, especially when they're not seasoned. read more

We had really high hopes for this restaurant experience after learning it had a celebrity chef attached to the project. Sadly our experience was underwhelming. The restaurant itself is fine although I really didn't care for the mixed restroom with toilet + urinal in the same restroom. The smell from the urinal was awful! We went on a Saturday lunchtime. Went at midday. We were one of the first customers there but it soon filled up within about 1/2 hr. We were greeted by a host & sat quickly. Our server was very nice & attentive. What was disappointing was the food. We ordered the Pulled Chicken Tacos + the Smash burger. The tacos were dry, bland & the chicken was more liked ground chicken & certainly not pulled smoked chicken as promised on the menu. They also do not come with any salsa, guac or sour cream which adds to the dryness & blandness as there is nothing to flavor or lubricate the tacos with. My burger was bland also. It was really no better than something from Burger King. The best thing about the whole experience were the fries. They were a little on the chunky side, hot, crisp & had a thin coating of batter. Delicious fries. I did have to ask for salt as nothing was seasoned also. I'm afraid this place is a one and done. The food was a let down. read more
