Like so many other one star reviews on This BJ's, our experience was not much different. Before I get into the negative items, I would like to say our waiter/bartender Daniel was exceptional. This man not only was the bartender for the whole bar, he also was our waiter at a bar top table along with the waiter for several other bar booths and tables. One of the hardest working people in the establishment. Daniel deserves 5 Star review. Now on to the two stars and two stars because at the end someone finally noticed several of the bar tops and booths displeasure. We (wife and I) walked and were greeted with smiles from (3) three hostess. We were immediately sat in the bar area. Along with three other parties immediately behind us. As we reviewed our menu about for a bit, I looked around curious why no one had came to get our drink orders. To find there was apparently only one person working the bar and the bar tables. Daniel find made his way over after making numerous drinks for the restaurant. He took our drink orders and off he went. As he had other orders and drink orders to get. After about 10 mins of watching Daniel do his very best to keep up with what the hostess sat in his section he returned to get our food order. During this 10 min wait, I noticed there was always 3 hostess and 2-3 other wait staff members hanging around the hostess stand talking laughing and at one point dancing. To the point they even could see my disgust on my face if they had paid attention. They watched as Daniel struggled to keep up. One of the tables behind me went over and complained about something and the floor manager went by their table. He spoke with them and spoke with the folks around the hostess stand briefly. Did anything change, NO. After what seemed like an hour we got our food. And you guessed it Daniel had to come and make sure the food runners got it right, Which they did not. Daniel fixed the orders between our table and the one behind us. The sliders I ordered were dry, they did not come with onions or ketchup as menu indicated. I would have told Daniel but, again he was busy making drinks and waiting on tables. The floor manager walked by twice along with several of the hangout staff but could not get their attention. Finally at the end of our meal, a manager(Elizabeth) came out of kitchen and walked over and asked if everything was ok. I said honestly no. I went into the details as mentioned above. While she was at our table, I noticed the folks at the hostess booth scattered. And I found out there was supposed to be a cocktail server helping in bar seating and he was no where to be found. I gave Elizabeth one picture I took of the hangout staff around the hostess stand. And she assured she would handle it. Basically what sums up BJ's here on i10 is, When the cats away (manager) the mice will play (most of staff other than Daniel). It still amazes me that 4-5 folks watched as this man ran around doing all he possibly could and NO one, not even the floor manager offered to help him or did help him. read more

BJ's is open until 12:00 am on Saturday. Late night dinner after 10:00pm can be difficult, to find even during the weekends. The hostess greeted us and wasted no time seating us right away. BJ's has a Nice atmosphere, Very clean, Mellow Music, and Comfortable Air Conditioning. We got great service with a smile through out the night from Miss. Mia. We ordered a Mango Strawberry Mimosa and a Large Deep Dish Barbecued Chicken Pizza added black olives,extra cheese, and sauce. Sometimes things happen, like our visit came with two hiccups They were out of their Special advertised mango strawberry mimosa, Liquor. We ordered another and still had the same problem. So if you want a drink, they may very well be out of liquor. My experience with their drinks may not be yours. I'm just saying order Water with a lemon slice. Hahahahaha! Just Kidding!!!!!! Our Pizza was hot,fresh,delicious,and on point in regards to taste, and I loved it. It was just yummy Their drinks and food are pricey, The 2 drinks were $14.xx, and the Large Pizza was $36.xx,plus tax and don't forget the tip but remember there are only a handful of restaurants open after 11:00pm. read more

First time eating from this establishment. Let's just say that I like it, we had it for dinner two nights in a row. Dine in is available, as well as take out, curbside serve and delivery (through the BJ's app). Their phone system needs to be better. Phone rings for a while and then regardless of picking to speak to someone in take out, you then have to get transferred. I'm assuming the line rolls over but a a bit inefficient. I like when the restaurants allow you to check in on their website to notify that you're there. I digress. You give their the sport number you're parked in and they bring your food out. Interesting selection of food that my pallet truly appreciates. CAULIFLOWER & QUINOA POWER BOWL WITH SHRIMP Roasted cauliflower, quinoa, brown rice,black beans, corn and fire-roasted red pepper succotash, cucumbers, pickled red onions, pico de gallo, feta cheese, guacamole, greek yogurt, cilantro and cajun shrimp. I kept as is minus the cucumbers. This dish is like a party dancing on your taste buds!! It has a lot of strong flavors that paired together so beautifully!! You know how you can have all these food that you could just eat a bowl of it by itself? That's how great each one was separately but together was amazing! Each bite was a surprise! L ENLIGHTENED KALE AND ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS SALAD Kale, roasted brussels sprouts, romaine, blueberries, red grapes, dried cranberries , goat cheese crumbles, cucumbers, candied pecans, toasted pepitas, red onions and strawberry vinaigrette. I removed the pecans and cucumbers and ordered blue cheese dressing instead. You have the choice of adding protein for an extra $3-6. I went with blackened chicken. Not a fan.... 1. They gave me the strawberry dressing and not the blue cheese that I ordered. 2. It was all baby kale instead of a mix with Romain. The kale was super bitter and over powered the entire dish making it hard to stomach. The strawberry dressing helped a little but definitely needed the Romain lettuce. I was pretty impressed with my last visit at BJ's a few weeks ago. As I was dining alone, I decided to sit at the bar area and ordered the wings and a chicken sandwich with fries. The wings game with two flavors, of which one was BBQ and the other hot. The wings were very decent size wings and they were full of flavor. Normally I have noticed that other restaurants don't coat and sauce them that well but BJ's was on point. The wings were delish and tasty and accompanied with celery and ranch dressing. The chicken sandwich was amazing too. It was a big sized, thick, succulent juicy breast and bursting with flavor. Popeye's and CFA can battle out amongst themselves on their chicken sandwiches, but I tell ya..... BJ's is very good too. They served a very hefty portion of french fries and they were golden crisp absolutely delicious also. I got my drink refills on time and the bartender was very friendly and attentive at the same time. I will be coming back soon to explore other opportunities from the menu. read more

One star because of horrible customer service. We gave this place so many tries, every time I would be hopeful that management has changed. Nope. I love BJ's in Sugarland, I was hopeful this location will be the same. When we went there for the first time, our waiter was very slow and hard to find. Then we went a couple of times ( silly me!) , we waited for some time to be seated, then our waiter wasn't in a great mood lol, another time we waited way too long to be seated and we just left ( no one even came to check on us) and the last time , a hostess showed us our table and we sat there for at least 10 min, maybe even more, and then we left, never got a chance to meet our water lol. No more chances. We are done with this place. read more

Terrible service! I went to the restaurant in the late afternoon, my server had two tables which I guess was too much for her. I asked for water twice and never got it. My daughter's meal did not include the french fries when I asked for them to be removed from the check I was told that was not possible, however, I could take them to go. I wasn't interested in taking home food that we were supposed to have served to us in the restaurant. Beware beware the service here is terrible! read more

Today we went to lunch with my mom and her senior gal pals for a holiday season lunch. We were greeted at the door by Shella who saw my mom using her walker and needed extra time and help getting into the restaurant. Shella was so kind and thoughtful to ensure we got a table for 6 that was close to the entrance . Shella also ensured my mom's walker was stored away close by. Ashley our server was also wonderful and offered the right amount of attention. The drinks arrived promptly and everyone enjoyed their food except unfortunately my mom thought her chicken peanut soba noodles was too salty. Ashley kindly offered another entree as a replacement. But overall, the appetisers of fried calamari and lemon pepper wings were delicious and arrived fresh and hot. 2 of us ordered mini vegetarian pizzas which were tasty and the side salad that went with this was a very generous portion. My sister enjoyed her fried chicken salad and my other sister enjoyed her French dip sandwich and my mom's friend loved her broccoli and cheddar soup. I've been going to BJ's for years but really love this location. My friend is a veteran and went on Veterans Day for the discount. We started off with the clam chowder bread bowl. THIS WAS SOME OF THE MOST DELICIOUS CLAM CHOWDER I'VE EVER HAD. It was more amazing in the bread bowl that it was served with. It's even better on a cold day. Then I ordered the bison burger with the salad and my friend ordered a French dip with fries. We had no complaints whatsoever. The bison burger was so delicious, tender and juicy. We got the combination appetizer plate which came with boneless chicken wings, avocado egg spring rolls, mozzarella sticks and spinach and artichoke dip with chips. I loved the mozzarella sticks and the spinach dip is always good at BJ's. The warm avocado was a no for me and my husband said the wings were really good. For main course, I got fish and chips and was pretty disappointed at the lack of flavor. The fries were amazing but the tartar sauce and fish were really not up to par. That started things off bad pretty quickly. Then the bartender pours my duvel into the wrong glass and basically turned it into a foam beer. After that I was done. What a shame because the beer menu is amazing and there are a ton of food options. Not saying I'll never return here but I expected a better experience. I have visited BJs in the past and have had a decent experience, nothing to write home about. However, doing the last two visits the service and food have been less than satisfactory. The service was extremely slow, this is 2:30 in the afternoon, and the food was lackluster at best. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this location. This is my go to restaurant for dinner with friends. Their menu has something for everyone. My go to is the cherry chipotle glazed salmon. I recently learned they also have a house made ginger beer that brings their mules to a whole different level. They always have some sort of coupon going on and the rewards system is amazing. They have run out of a few things on a couple of my visits before that is my only complaint but they always went above and beyond to alleviate the inconvenience. read more

I was really feeling BJ's Pazookie (sp?) brownie and I had heard so many great raves about it. Came in late, 9:30pm, and got one. I was extremely disappointed. The brownie part was EXTRA THIN, more like a flat cookie, and the amount of chocolate syrup was ridiculous. I feel like they were in the back talking while pouring the syrup and forgot what they were doing. It seriously ruined the entire thing. In the grand scheme of things, it's not bad. But if I wanted chocolate ice cream, I would have asked for chocolate ice cream versus chocolate syrup ice cream with a side of vanilla bean hint. read more

August 31 The gentleman that handled my order was wearing long sleeve shirt with tie. When I return home, at first the fish looked like it was deep fried twice. Looked burnt, very greasy. Then After first bite, you can taste that the oil was very old and dirty. I had this gross taste in my mouth for days. I called to talk to the person that helped me. No plans whatsoever, LOL! We went in the late afternoon/early evening. Service was great. Anna served us. She was pleasant. The food we ordered was pretty damn good. For our appetizer, we ordered Avocado Egg Rolls. Omgoodness, it wasn't bad at all. It was served with sweet sauce that compliments the eggroll very well. My husband had Cherry Chipotle Glazed Salmon. I had a few bites and it was awesome! Then I had Tri-Tip Wedge and Clam Chowder in Sourdough Loaf... lemme tell ya, I was hungry and thought the Tri-Tip Wedge was not gonna fill me up until I saw the Clam Chowder in Sourdough Loaf. LOL!! BOTH WAS SO DAMN GOOD! Environment is welcoming and huge inside. We are definitely coming back with our children. Oh, we didn't get to try their brews!
