We walked in and were greeted and told that it would be a moment before we were seated while the person was cleaning the booth. Then the person that had cleaned the booth apparently didn't do a good job as the hostess cleaned it again before she sat us at the table. The wait person was super nice and friendly, however there was a wait to get our water and when our food was delivered they did not provide us with silver ware or napkins. Also, it took half an hour to get the food... At one point the restaurant phone was ringing and while there was several employees standing around, no one was answering it. The food was good, not memorable. The restroom had no toilet paper at all. , the trash cans were overflowing and a sink was out of order. I am livid! I feel like i've been robbed and communication with management has been dry with zero results. On 5/2/24 I submitted an online order to have 2 strawberry fields salads delivered to my place of employment. It is a secure building with a guard at the front door, so a person can not just enter the building without knowledge (Bank). After waiting over an hour and a half for our food. My coworker called about the order, then I called to speak with someone since the payment was on my card. I was told the person I was speaking with was the General Manager, Rachel. Rachel went on to tell me that the order had been delivered multiple times throughout the conversation. Yet the App still said it was waiting to be picked up and we still had not received our food. Why would I call to say my food hadn't been delivered if it had!!! I was told by Rachel that I would receive a refund, so I reimbursed my coworker for her portion of the meal and have yet to receive a credit for the money already taken from my account. So you do the math... On this day I'm out the money for the 2 salads, the money I reimbursed my coworker and the money I had to spend at another restaurant within walking distance so I wouldn't starve. I waited 11 days before conducting a follow up call on 5/13/24. 5/13/24 I called to speak to Rachel but she was not in, so they connected me to the Manager on duty. I think he said Dan or Don... something like that. He asked for the details, then said he would check to see if the refund was entered a planned to get back to me. It is now 5/16/24 and I have yet to receive a refund or a call from either the GM or the Manager. I am trying to be patient but this is unacceptable. I had lunch here today with a friend. I ordered their sirloin steak and had steamed broccoli as a side. It was a thick cut which is normally hard to cook properly. The steak was cooked just the way I wanted it. My friend ordered a spicy peanut noodle dish. I tried some of it and it was delicious as well. We had a male server who was fantastic. Attentive, but he did not bug us. Just the right amount of attention. We were there as the lunch crowd started easing off. The place was clean. There are large TVs all around and easy to see. The menu is full of delicious looking items, and we see them on other people's plates. The wait help Ashley and Missy are delightful every time we come! I really dig this place. It's got a good vibe. Cool setup. I came here on my recent quest of finding the best wings in town. These definitely did not disappoint! But I'll get back to that shortly. We were in Mobile for work and needed to eat after 9pm. Seeing as they were one of the only restaurants open past 6 of course we decided to go and got there at 9:30pm. When arriving we immediately were seated by the hostess and she was very polite. She told us our waiter was going to be Asia but we didn't see her for another 10 minutes. We saw her walk past our table multiple times but we didn't know that was our waitress for the evening. After finally bringing our water we inquired about soft drinks since many things on the menu didn't have prices. 30 minutes passed between the time she gave us water and when she came back to our table to take our order. Since we didn't get a chance to speak to her we never go the chance to order appetizers or actual drinks. When we finally did put in our order which was just for 2 people may I add we waited an hour for our food and again she never came to our table to see if we were okay, bring us the drinks we did order or give us an update on our food yet she was laughing and having extended personal conversations with other guests and serving other tables bringing people who arrived after us their apps, food, and drinks . Right when we were about to leave the food arrived by someone who wasn't even our server. When asked for the manager she finally came back with NAPKINS, STILL NO DRINKS. IT WAS LITERALLY A PINK LEMONADE. The manager seemed confused at our irritation and was nonchalant. When we finally got the bill, everything was rang up completely incorrect. On the menu it says that any extra side with a sandwich would be an extra $2.65 I got charged for an appetizer size Brussel sprout $9, and a side of mashed potatoes in a tiny dish for $5!! The manager stated that he took off the appetizer as a courtesy but didn't even take off the item that was actually supposed to be the appetizer. The waiter rarely made an appearance and somehow always forgot our requests. Can we get to-go boxes, please? Sure thing! BJs is an awesome restaurant! The two main reason that I LOVE BJs is because when the hubby and I are able to go out, it is usually after both of I get off work, which is much later in the day. (Sometimes you cant go out on a Friday or Saturday) either way, BJs is ALWAYS OPEN! They close at 12am even during the week so this gives the late working people a place to still come in have drinks and dinner during the late hours. Also they have an array of variety of foods available! They have something for everyone. I recommend the spinach dip as an appetizer if you haven't tried it yet, it's amazing! Also if your there on the weekend the Prime rib, mashed potatoes and asparagus is soooooo goood! It's a must do! This week when hubby and I went I tried the stuffed mushrooms that were excellent! They are a must try! Hubby had the Mandarin wings which were good, we usually get the Root Beer wings and change it up a bit but hey they were awesome as well!
