Only $5 during happy hour, ends at 7. Portion was a full portion, fresh and yummy.

After reading the reviews I needed to try the place. Also, I was not staying at the hotel. I am actually at another hotel and drove over. I sat at the bar. Server/bartender was over right away. Ordered a happy hour drink and appetizer salad. Wine was a full glass and salad was huge. I ordered a steak for dinner. Cooked just right. I am looking forward to coming back to the area and actually staying at the hotel. I found all of the staff at the restaurant to be friendly and attentive to service. The food was great and the price was just as good. The same as paying if not eating at a hotel and still getting a great meal.

My wife and I decided to dine here, because we purchased tickets to see Gilbert Gottfried at Bananas, which happens to be at the same location Holiday Inn. The food was delicious, huge portions and service was exceptional. Samir & Jeudy did an outstanding job attending to our needs.

The most honest bartender told us the wings weren't fresh was all frozen, grill checked was dried and hard associate liked the steak special.

While there isn't exactly an Argentine neighborhood in New Jersey, many great restaurants are…read morelocated in the northern part of the state. Argentine cuisine is a blend of influences from the Italian and Spanish immigrants with its chief national product, beef. They say the reason Argentine steak is so good is that its cattle graze on the country's plentiful pampas grass, rather than being grain-fed as American cattle are. The result is leaner, more flavorful, and more nutritious beef. One such establishment is on Moonachie Road in Moonachie, where my partners, our friends and I decided on Saturday dinner. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this cozy, modern interior of Tango Steak as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table right away. We were here 3 years ago when it was El Tango Argentina Grill. The vibe has completely changed. It's now darker and louder, not family-friendly. Music was at a decent volume and does seem to increase as it gets later, giving it a lounge type. As an appetizer, we started with Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as Calamares (Calamari). For our main meal, we decided on the Extrana (Skirt Steak) with Mashed Potatoes & Chimichurri Sauce and Tango Burger accompanied with Fries. Food was good, not awesome. Our appetizers were tasty and well seasoned. The Skirt Steaks tasted fantastic with the Chimichurri Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes had a nice texture. However, some of us asked that their Tango Burgers be made medium but came out well done. The Fries were salty and very dry. Our service was horrendous, but our server was Nathaly who was accommodating and apologetic. Some of us had gotten their appetizer faster than others. The duration between our appetizers and the main meal was an hour. The food was not cheap given the portions received and the 20% gratuity added automatically to the bill. With insult to injury, their valet attendant charged $5. Definitely not what we expected, which is why we sadly can't recommend this place.

My son's girlfriend hates complaining during the meal because is afraid her food will get spit in or some other tampering if she complains. Her steak was extremely rare and she had ordered it medium so she barely touched it. Did anyone ask why? Nope My steak medallions had mushrooms all over them. I don't eat mushrooms. I didn't order mushrooms and I don't eat anything cooked with mushrooms. I hate mushrooms, they are a fungus that grows in dark damp moldy places. Not my kind of veggie! I had ordered a side salad. So I didn't eat the medallions, or mushrooms or get the side salad. Because it upsets my son's girlfriend I decided not to say anything. Did the server ask why two people hardly touched their meal yet wanted more rolls because they were hungry? Nope. My son's was very hungry and ate his over cooked steak. Once again our dogs happily ate most of our disappointed meal.

I was looking for something special for Father's Day. A treat I wouldn't normally give myself, you…read moreknow a little decadence to feed my foodie soul. I have been craving a dry aged steak for awhile now. This is the kind of steak you can't get at your local supermarket or even your neighborhood butcher. So to the trusty web I turned and in Google I found a couple options. I narrowed my selection down to StrassBurger Steaks. Their website had the goods a Foodie Father like me was looking for. With a lineage of over 150 years in the Steak business how could this selection not be the right one? I turned to my trusted advisor in these matters (YELP,) and to my surprise StrassBurger had only 1 review with 1 star and to top it off, the reviewer lives in the same state and city. Now this reviewer, from what I could tell was on a similar mission as me. The negative part of their review had to do with the delivery of the goods (from the minimal critique offered) so I did what every loyal Yelp user would do, I backed out. But I couldn't get those images out of my head. Those steaks looked so good! I searched around my local area to satisfy my craving. Alas I only found what I would describe as mediocre offerings, it was then I decided I was going to give StrassBurger Steaks a shot. I placed my order for bone-in rib steaks and a tomahawk. I made sure I would be at home to receive the delivery, like junky waiting for a fix. 16 hours later my doorbell sang the sweet songs of a FedEX delivery. I tore into the package like a child on Christmas morning, eager to inspect the goods. To my surprise, or should I say my joy, the steaks were a cool 40.0 °F a mear 8.0 °F from freezing. I know because I used a digital meat thermometer to check, since the previous review stated the warmth of the goods, but in my case everything was perfect! So with the goods in hand, I was off to the next stage in my plan. How to cook these bad boys? I decided I would go the extra step and do some reading. For the meal I came up with: * Simply seasoned with sea salt and pepper * Sear the steaks on the BBQ to get a nice crisp crust to seal in the juices * Finish them off in the oven in an old cast iron pan * Add sides Hasselback potato and garlic butter sauteed Porcini mushrooms * Homemade Bearnaise sauce I am starting to salivate while I write this as the memories of endorphins being released come flooding back. To get to the point, these were in fact the best steaks I HAVE EVER MADE. I like to think it's the attention to the details, but I can't take all the credit. Each bite of steak literally melts in my mouth. When you have such a solid base to start with, you really can't go wrong. I can without a doubt recommend ordering steaks from StrassBurger and have recommended these fine purveyors of bovine bliss to my friends and family. Like with all things in life I am glad I went this my gut instinct here and placed this order. Had I just gone with the single bad review, I would have missed out on one of the best steak dinners I have ever had. I could honestly say these steaks were on point with fancy steak houses like Ruth Chris and would order again without hesitation. Attached are photos of my journey. Happy Fathers day!

Poor Service & Lack of Preparation During Peak Hours Complimentary bread has always been provided here, but none was served tonight. When I asked about it at 6:50 PM--right during peak dinner hours--the staff simply claimed they ran out because of the holiday. If it is a busy holiday, management should properly prepare sufficient inventory. 2. Discrepancy Between Menu Prices and Actual Bill The prices charged on our final bill did not match the prices listed on the menu. Overcharging customers without prior notice is deceptive and unacceptable. 3. Violation of NJ Credit Card Surcharge Notice Laws Under New Jersey law, businesses charging different prices for cash versus credit cards must clearly display the surcharge fees on both the menu and visible signage near the entrance/register. This restaurant had zero notices displayed, yet applied differential charges arbitrarily. 4. Unauthorized 20% Auto-Gratuity on a Party of 4 We were a small party of four. Despite not meeting any standard large-party threshold, the restaurant added a mandatory 20% tip to our bill without consent or prior warning, using the "holiday" as an excuse. Forcing an automatic tip on a 4-person table without agreement is fraudulent. No matter how the food tastes, operating a business by deceiving customers and violating state regulations is unacceptable. I will never come back to this establishment.
