Love the Santa fe salad with blackened salad. The service was great. I recommend getting there right right at 6 just to avoid long waits.

We walked in at bout 12:45 p.m. on a Wednesday and the place was frozen. I mean really cold. It was about 1/5 full of people. Bad sign. It took 15 minutes for our waiter to arrive. It took another ten for the water to get there. I don't know why it took so long. He only had a three table section. The girl who ran our food practically threw the plates at us. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and vegetables. She had the mahi tacos. Both were horrible. Her tortillas were stale. My steak was soggy and dry. The gravy was runny and there wasn't enough of it. The mashed potatoes were hard. One more time, hard, yes hard. How do you do that? It was almost like they were powdered. The "steamed" vegetables had liquid running all over the plate desperately trying to soften the potatoes. (Which actually kinda worked.) The liquid residue means that the veggies were microwaved in a plastic bag and then cut open to be poured on the plate. You are supposed to drain the liquid first. Someone didn't bother to. Been here before, but definitely the B/C team for Sunday morning. Host with black curls was annoyed the whole time and shouldn't ever work in hospitality. Didn't greet us, smile or know how to use open table to check my reservation. Some one else has to show him and thankfully seated us. Tri tip and sparkling sangria was delicious. The Parmesan crusted chicken I ordered had great flavor but the chicken was rubbery and chewy. I assume frozen and over cooked, never had chicken this bad before. Our server Kaila didn't inform management or try to really help the situation. Unfortunately, we will be dining somewhere else, especially on Sundays. read more

This place has good beer and the food is okay, but the service is awful. Every time I've gone here we get some rude crummy waitress.

Its BJ's, if you've been to one you've been to them all, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I've been to many across the country and they're all solid places. They have their own beer, my favs the Nutty Brunette. They don't brew it themselves (St Arnold makes it in Houston), but that doesn't make it any less good. This place has the standard Friday night happy hour cheap drinks half off appetizers. It gets crowded on Fridays especially if there's a game on. If you're not a fan of the "Sports Balls" (baseball, basketball, football, its all just sports balls to me) i suggest you try to sit on the patio if its open. read more

My husband and our family visited here on a recent trip for work and i have to say the food was amazing we split a cheese burger pizza. We also tried some of their beer my husband ordered the berry cider and i got a blonde beer we ended up switching and both were very satisfied. The berry cider has a fruity wine cooler taste which i really enjoyed. The service was just awesome our server did a great job of helping us pick out our drinks, entree, and dessert. Way to go chris! The chocolate chip bazookie was delicious! It was a bit loud in the restraunt but it wasnt enough to knock off any stars. Came here for an early Mother's Day dinner with family and was SO disappointed. 1st- called ahead and still had to wait even though it was dead. 2nd- hostess tried to sit 4 adults and 3 kids in a booth. Seriously?! Had to wait again for them to get a table together. Ordered apps, Fried Mozzarella and Calamari. Calamari came out over cooked and rubbery. Entrees were the only redeemable part of the evening. Everything came out fine other than the drink I ordered when the meal came and didn't see for 10 min. Ordered Pizzokie Trio for dessert. Took about 20 minutes to get to table. Not sure if the entire staff was off its game tonight or what, but terrible experience. Dinner= Fail. read more

Very disappointed. I come to BJ's regularly, but I won't be returning after tonight. We waited for the server for 10 minutes. Given the crowd, the wait wasn't justified. Previously known as a pizza and beer joint, they've revamped their menu to include lots of salads, soups, steaks, and other trendy foods. Clearly their added quantity of items led to a decrease in quality. The pizza was ICE COLD. The cheese was hard not stringy, and the crust was soggy. Even the pan was cold to the touch, indicating the pizza had been out of the oven for at least 30 minutes. Considering the large group of 20 seated, we likely received an extra from their party. The server never asked how anything was, I had to call him over. He was rude and said he'd ask the kitchen. He only offered to put the pizza back in the oven for a few minutes. Bad waiter service tonight. Waited over 10 min for him to come to our table for the first time, when it turned out that he had been waiting on the table right next to us and he had already passed in front of our table at least three times. I honestly would've never thought he was our waiter. Almost 10 minute waiting and he didn't care to at least say "I'll be right with you, etc" (No, he wasn't loaded or busy with food or drinks, had free hands)-(No, it was NOT a busy night, counted at least 13 empty tables inside). He rushed us through the menu, even though I had questions. When he served a slice of pizza in my plate from the pizza stand, he didn't serve it, but more like threw it on my plate. He didn't even apologized. I got a feeling he doesn't want to work there, he treated us like items on an assembly line not like customers. Never had an experience like this in other BJ's before. There's a lot of convenience that comes with this place. You can order it online and pick it up or dine in. I've done both. Service is friendly enough and the food is consistent each time. Once I've ordered a hamburger where the seasoning was so over done that it was actually crunchy. I nearly felt sick and couldn't finish the food. Other times the food has been fine. I would suggest a different BJ's to friends. When my $50.00 gift card showed a 0 balance on the previous visit, Dan the manager, offered no help. He showed me a piece a paper showing zero. No suggestions on what to do or how to fix it. So I paid for whole meal. I went home and we found you can do a history of the card. It showed the card had been "forced redeemed" in a different state. I contacted the company and a very nice person looked into it and found it was used fraudulently and issued me a replacement. On the next trip I used it with Curbside service ( I didn't want to go back in) and was told " they remembered me and I would have to come in to redeem the gift card, since it didn't work last time. LIKE, I WAS THE CROOK! I will avoid this BJ's in the future. Too bad, the food is great, great choices,more at drinks and great waitstaff. Only drawback is a uncaring manager. read more

Dinner with a group of 7 on Sunday evening. The place was far from full. It seemed like semi-organized chaos. The food was "normal" but the service was very poor. On at least 2 occasions, someone tried to deliver someone else's food to our table & we had to tell them it wasn't ours. Our kids didn't get their salads at the same time as the adults because "they take longer to make" - slang for "we forgot". We had to stop someone & ask for drink re-fills. When re-filling our water, the server routinely touched the pitcher to the top of the glass (It may seem trivial but think about it - it touches that creepy guy at the other tables glass, then your glass then my glass - you may as well go over & start smooching Mr. Creepy over there. Anyone who has ever been a server at any time in their life knows it's a no-no to do that.) I've never been the biggest fan of BJ's. It's a chain trying to disguise itself as a local pub. You're given the impression that they brew their own beer there - but they don't. If I wanted to spend the money, I could have my own personal branded beer made by a big brewery too. read more

The food is consistently good, but the service can be sloppy and slow if you are not in the bar area. The last server we had couldn't be bothered to refill drinks and left for an extended 30 minute smoke break. She wasn't even the person to deliver our entrées. After she returned to check on our meals, I asked for a box. She returned with one but then picked up both of our plates without thinking and placed my husband's on top of mine. I had over half of my meal remaining to take home that was then ruined. She attempted a weak apology but did not offer to replace anything. Disappointing, to say the least. read more

I've been a regular at BJ's for years and I'll continue to keep visiting! The beer is always cold and the food is always hot. My only complaint is the large menu! There are so many options and it can be hard to make a decision on food! Julie is my go to waitress during daytime visits as she provides the best customer service and is very attentive! We tend to usually order several appetizers to eat and I always stick with their IPA, the Piranha. The wedge salad is delicious, the flatbreads & wings are always great options too. But there is no way to pass on the poozkie! Today they offered a monkey bread poozkie and IT WAS AMAZING! I hope to see this item remain on the menu! I will also recommend arriving early or sending someone ahead for large parties on the weekends, but BJ's has always been good at accommodating large groups! As always, recommend BJ's for their cold beers, good food and casual atmosphere! read more

LOVE the deep dish pizza! It was delicious! The wait was a little long, but it was definitely worth it!

This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to, but very disappointed in the service today. Everything was overall good, but it annoyed me when my mom tried paying for our meal with a vanilla visa gift card, but the lady comes back and says that she can't use it. This is something she should have gone to her manager to ask about because a vanilla gift card can be used anywhere for any purchase. Than it waiter comes back to our table and makes a snarky comment at us saying "well since you can't use it here maybe grocery or something you can use it for." That was an unnecessary comment like what's that supposed to mean. Anyways 3 stars for a great restaurant, but 2 off because the shitty waiter we were given. If you can avoid her she ignores your questions too. Can't remember her name but she's pregnant and has glasses. read more

On Feb. 21, 2013 two friends and I went to the Bj's located on 515 W Bay Area Blvd Webster, TX 77598. There we experienced discriminative treatment because we were black. I am an avid diner, not to just Bj's but to many restaurants and to be treated in such a way, that prompted to me to post here so prospective diners are aware of this kind of treatment, can proceed with caution if they so choose to dine. Now two years ago, I had a similiar experience at the Cypress TX location but the issue was dismissed. This time around, no such thing will happen for this seems to be an actual issue with this chain of restaurants. The day of the discriminative treatment began with Erica who was negligent in taking care of myself and my guests, my galss of wine had food in it, she took my order incorrectly deliberately, the manager, who's name escapes me, who I then escalated the situation to corrected my order and served me my entree. Thereafter, no server or manager came back to check on us as if we were nothing, less than that. I had to open a tab at the bar, even though I sat a table where I should have had a server tending to my guests and myself and ultimately, had to checkout myself. When closing my tab I explained to the bartender I had a tab at the table which needed to be closed out and the bartender called the manger of which took care of the correction of my order. The manger explains that the server left the receipt on the table indicating to pick it up bring it to the bar to close out. I did no such thing, for a manager has access to all its servers running tabs, and can close out, modify any of them, at his discretion so after looking at my face with disgust he offers to close out the tab for me. All in all horrible experience I am still so furious and wish I can more publicly denounce and display my distaste of the customer service, or rather lack there of, so people are aprised of this restaurants lack of customer service. I always love this place when I visit, but recently was the first time I visited this location in League city. I had the quinoa bowl with roasted chicken. I was so jealous when my friends deep dish pizza arrived thinking mine was going to be bland, but when my meal showed up, it was absolutely superb. There is so much flavor in that bowl, and the chicken is some of the best I've had in a restaurant. Love this place as always. read more

I love coming to this place with a group of friends. They have extra-large booths to fit everyone and the service has always been good. Their pizzas are all yummy and the pizookie is a must have. The unique in-house brewed beers aren't too bad (my personal fave is the hefenweizen). The newest thing they are offering, which I think is a great idea, are personal sized appetizers. Basically it's an appetizer specially portioned for one person so everyone can order whatever they want! Genius! read more

Received great service. I initially ordered the Lemon Thyme Chicken because it looked savory in the menu's picture but when it came out it was not what I expected. It was not on them, I just personally didn't like all the different spices. The server was really friendly and nicely offered to bring me something else. Great brew house to try some non cookie-cutter beers. The service is usually pretty good and the food.....very good. One of my favorite things on the menu is there chicken wontons and both the sauces (thai and buffalo) are tasty. Everything I've tried there is so good. Their menu is really expansive so I had to start pulling choices out of a baggie blindly so that I'm not tempted to get the same thing everytime. I definitely recommend this place if you don't mind spending a little more than usual. Very casual and relaxed place with a little fancier decor. As with any place we go we get there right when they open to avoid the crowds and it does fill up fast. read more

Excellent service and a great atmosphere throughout. The parking lot is strange but large. On a busy Sunday lunch rush, seated immediately. 15 minutes from order to food on the table. The spinach stuffed mushrooms were good but a touch bland. The deep dish pizza is good, but required more sauce. The ribs are exemplary, and the Tuscan chicken limone was spot on. read more
