Great brewhouse atmosphere that is family-friendly and just friendly service! Signature BJ's favorite is my favorite! It has those signature red tomato pieces and pretty much is their supreme pizza. Lots of TVs so go, order drinks and food, and hang out a while!

Okay so I can't remember the last time I went to BJs but my husband's family wanted to eat there so we went. I was so impressed with the food and the service. Our waiter was Jayden and was absolutely amazing. Always had a smile and positive attitude, gave our great recommendations, and had our waters filled. My husband split the baby rack ribs and they portioned out everything for us on two separate plates. Very thoughtful. The baby back ribs were amazing. I'm still thinking about it! The brussel sprouts and loaded baked potato were solid too. I enjoyed every appetizer we tried. The mozzarella sticks is everything I'm looking for in a mozzarella stick. Crispy, and a beautiful cheese pull, and tasty. Clamari was perfect and so the fried Mac and cheese balls were good. Chicken wings juicy and flavorful. I was so impressed that I came back the next day to try the prime rib that is only served on weekends. We were lucky enough to have Jayden as our server again. The prime rib comes with a soup or salad and a poozokie and Jayden recommended the tomato salad which *chef kiss* fantastic. Loved every bite. We did tell him we were planning to share the prime rib like we did yesterday and two bowls of salad was brought to us. We didn't question it and happily enjoyed. That's when the manager came in and told us quite rudely I might mention (did not introduce herself) that she would have to charge us for two salads and tbh her whole attitude really took us back. We said okay, but we do feel that's a conversation she should have had with her server and not us cause our only intention was to share the prime rib and everything else not to order an extra portion. (me and my husband share a lot of our plates when going out). Our server did apologize about it and again I want to emphasize Jayden was amazing and if I can be honest most of the staff are very friendly and nice with big smiles. I can tell the work culture for the most part is very nice! But that manager could really take notes on customer service. The whole interaction really ruined our night. Jayden packed our pazookie to go and side note all the food at BJs was great except the prime rib. 100% recommend you order the baby back ribs instead. It's hard to make a really good prime rib though so I don't blame them. Mash potatoes and asparagus was great. Overall I'm knocking down a star because of the manager experience but the food was excellent and staff was great. Im a little hesitant in coming back again so soon because of the manager. She really did put me and my husband in a bad mood. I just can't get over "just know you can't split the salad so you have to pay for that" as the first thing she said to us with no introduction or greetings. All we said was we wanted to share the prime rib again, anything else should have been discussed with the server not us.

The food is really good. My boyfriend loved the beer. My only complaint is that it was a little pricey.

It's an easy place for all kinds of gatherings, especially ones with big groups and a thirsty penchant for beer. In a place like Webster where chains rule and suburban life is abundant, Saloon Door stands out as an excellent local option. It may not look like much from the outside and even the interior is minimal, but that somehow doesn't matter when groups of people are enjoying their brews together. They host all sorts of events and also allow for private use of dare venue space. Any first timer should absolutely indulge in a beer flight with some kind. The brewmasters are kind enough to let folks sample to their heart's content. Not everybody is beer savvy (#1) but they do a good job of recommending the right ones for any given palate. I appreciate their selection of stouts, ales, light brews, and IPAs. I have a fondness for their peanut butter milk stout, as well as dar dildo pickle gose. The tasty AF is also a good one, as is the lava imperial hot rock beer. The ladder has an ABV of 11%, so it is the most potent one in their lineup that I know of. Most breweries like this aren't always known for food, but there are some nice deals to be had here. Their taco Tuesday nights are popular since board games and happy hour beers are apparently a thing. The Friday deal for $15 inlcudes a burger, fries, and a beer would is very affordable in these times. Thursday nights they activate their projection screen and do a " a retro video game" night with plenty of multiplayer and beer specials. I always look forward to coming here. There is no pretense, plenty of good service, and even more good beer. __________ (#1) ::::coughs:::: me.

It was one of the first on this side of town before everyone and their mom started opening up breweries. The difference is, it has stood the test of time and is still going strong. This location is located in an industrial park close to I-45. There is plenty of parking. It anchors that particular section and is quite large inside. There is plenty of seating and they also have space available for private events. The staff here know their product and offer great advise on what to pick if you are indecisive like me. They have quite a respectable assortment of beers to choose from. They have light beers, malty beers, stouts, IPAs, and seasonal beers. I would suggest a flight if you want to try a few different things. I am not a big IPA guy, but Saloon Door has some that are pretty tasty. My favorites here at their stouts. They are heavy, but easy to sip on. Their stouts have flavor profiles that I love. My all time favorite Saloon Door beer is the Tasty AF. It is a peanut butter and chocolate milk stout. How can you go wrong with that flavor combination. It's like drinking a dessert. Some breweries name their beers with flavors but don't deliver on said flavor. Here, their beers are true to their names. Don't sleep on their other offering though! As far as food, they have rotating food trucks that you can order from. This location was my introduction to Saloon Door, but they did open their second location closer to my home. I would still without a doubt come back to this location if in the area though!

We decided to get the tasting option and try some of the nice variety of beers and sours they offered. I can't remember which ones I got but I also tried my daughter and sister's choices. Everything was delicious except the wings we ordered were dry-rubbed and were too hard & crispy to me. I'm very picky about my buffalo wings, though. The service was fantastic and it's a fairly big place that is probably packed on the weekend. It's family friendly, too, with a playground right next to their outdoor patio.

**Tip-Shaming Warning**…read more I really want to love this place. The atmosphere is great; I hear they are community minded; and everyone here has always been nice. But this joint can't decide whether it is a bar or a restaurant. I have previously talked about how spectacular the fish & chips are -- then they removed them from the menu. This weekend, I took my father to this place only to find out that the lunch menu selection wouldn't fill a napkin. Not to mention, they were out of mustard. What respectable joint in Texas runs out of mustard when hamburgers are on the menu? About the burger... The cheeseburger and fries are quite a bit more expensive here than legit burger joints in our area such as Stomp's or Tookies. Further, I've had better burgers in a commissary and at amusement parks. There is nothing fresh about the meat. And then there's the mustard. When I order a burger with mustard (and you don't have mustard), why bring it to me dry? A decent server would come to the table and say "Sir, I know you wanted mustard, but we don't have any." Additionally, I asked for a side of pickles with my burger, which didn't come. So I asked the server, in the presence of the food runner, "Can you bring me the side of pickles?" The food runner chimed in "They're on the burger." -- I wanted to jump down his throat, but I instead ignored him and redirected my comment to the server (whom I requested the side of pickles when I placed my order.) In addition to the marginal food, the customer service here is quite lacking. Though our server was a nice guy, he seemed to half-ass everything. And then he brought the iPad and stood over us while we paid the bill ... which included pre-set tip amounts. I've worked in food service, as has pretty much everyone in my family. When you stand over me while I'm calculating your gratuity, you are likely to get squat. -- Even the Wall Street Journal has written about the gauche nature of this "tip shaming" practice. And so, our server got what he deserved ... very little. (If he'd left me with the iPad and moved on, I likely would've felt more charitable. His mistake.) This place could and should do better. But it needs to decide whether it wants to be a restaurant or a bar. It could do both, but not for long in the way they are currently operating.
