I went in to order while I was road-tripping from Mississippi back to California and had a hankering for Alfredo steak pasta. Will not deduct a star but unfortunately they don't do steak, just tri-tip. And they were out of the tri-tip for the night . I absolutely do not enjoy chicken but it was still great! I'm not sure they season their chicken but it was still moist and tender, not dry and overcooked. I also got their Caesar salad which is ALWAYS my go to salad. I had enough to eat and then some leftover for my lunch the next day. They weren't too busy so I got my food rather quickly, and they have a dedicated take-out counter. The place was clean and smelled like a restaurant should smell ‍ The customer service was pleasant minus one worker who originally ignored me when he came out and continuously tossed my change onto the counter when my hand was right there. I always find that to be so disrespectful but I won't allow his actions to harm the business as a whole. But hopefully if my review is taken into account they can better train manners. Just be wary, not sure if it was a race thing, because I was getting my military discount, or if he's not comfortable with women or what. Officially done tipping in advance here. Tired of ordering curbside & getting to the store & having to go inside to get my order instead of curbside. Today i get there & wait 10 minutes for curbside, then when i go inside the woman has her airpods in & is on her phone. The whole time my food is getting cold & the ice is melting in my drink on the counter behind her. I would've preferred to go inside & see the takeaway area deserted, than see an employee inside stealing company time. In my opinion I think that when you literally can't decide what you want to eat BJ's is my "go-to". I can honestly say that I haven't been let down once by this restaurant. There's hardly ever a wait whenever you go, their food has always came out very fresh and their food is always tasty. I really couldn't ask for more especially since this place is open till 2:00 a.m.. I ordered a Turkey Burger with fries and it was amazing. You can customize your Burger anyway you want and can always replace the beef Patty with a Turkey Burger or veggie Patty. I definitely recommend BJ's to anyone. Try their clam chowder! Haven't been to BJ's in a few years. Had a late dinner here with extended family. The parking is minimal in front with most being in the back of the restaurant. The restaurant itself used to be an Atchafalaya Cajun Cafe back in the day. We were a party of 15 for an 830pm reservation. Got there around 825pm and were told to have complete party here before being sat by hostess. We prob didn't get sat til 850 pm due to other parties overstaying their welcome lol. It wasn't that big of a deal. We had one waitstaff Braxton. This guy was very hardworking and organized and genuinely nice. I really appreciated the effort he put in to take care of us. Drinks all came out in a timely manner, I was the only straggler due to me wanting to see the drink menu. I ordered the oasis draft. It was light amber ale and it was great! We opted for potato skins, nachos, salsa and chips and soinach artichoke dip. They were all fresh and delicious. I had noticed the special board and the special for Thurs evening seemed like a great deal. Full rack of ribs, two sides, and a pizookie! Food was delivered in a timely manner and it was all hot and fresh. Like I said before I can't commend Braxton enough for the job he did! Every year we come to this location for Superbowl Sunday. It's never crowded. Tonight, Christian was fabulous! Totally on his game. The food was hot and the beer was cold. The first time this happened, I assumed they were just understaffed so two reviews below.... We are here right now, 11/18. Sat at a booth in the bar area and didn't get greeted for 15 min. At this point, we ordered our food from the take out station. There were BJs employees just hanging out outside the kitchen and not one, but FOUR BJs employees were standing at the banister between the bar section and the kitchen. NO ONE came to greet us. This service is absolutely unacceptable and the fact this has happened twice now is ridiculous. Last week my boyfriend and I came here for lunch. It took 10 min to be greeted and then by the time it was 40 minutes after ordering we asked for the manager. The waitress/bartender never once came to check on us since we ordered. I will also mention that the manager straight up dropped off the menus and said, so and so will be with you in a minute. Once we got the manager....We asked what was taking so long because I had to get back to work, he said he didn't know. The manager ended up comping out meal and said he "yelled at the cooks". I don't want to hear that he's yelling at anyone but whatever. We got a free meal for waiting almost an hour. Honestly, at this point, not even a free meal could redeem this place. read more

I got my meal to go and I must say this was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious ( ordered the chicken with soba noodles) from the time I picked it up and got back home which was about 20 minutes. They added silverware in front of me which verified it was placed in the bag. The individuals working the to go counter were very helpful and friendly. The area looked nice and I enjoyed the signage to find where to pickup the food. I glanced inside the restaurant and the ambiance seemed inviting. We love this place! While there are few places welcoming with a full dinner menu after 9:00/10:00 PM around here, you can find something to suit even the pickiest eater here! If your schedule dictates that you have to eat late, this is your place. You won't be stuck watching the restaurant being cleaned and you won't feel like the servers just wish you'd go away. The choices are endless. There's also a late happy hour until 11:00 Sun-Thurs. We love the potstickers. Last night one of my girls had the bacon cheeseburger. She loved every bite, and it was cooked to a perfect medium, just like she'd asked. The other had the Atlantic salmon. It looked beautifully prepared and she said it was delicious. The lemon chardonnay butter sauce it comes with is spectacular! And this is a place where, amazingly, the Brussels sprouts are enjoyed by all! Well, almost all. Ambiance is lively when we come in. It was also incredibly busy with a joyful vibe following the recent local high schools' evening graduations. Waitstaff here are incredible, professional, and they help each other out to get you your food and beverages quickly. Not sure if it matters, but I should probably mention that we always sit in the bar area. There are many different size deep dish pizzas that look incredible. Lots of toppings to choose from. I love pizza, but just not a pizza person at BJ''s. Not sure why. It may be that I find the sauce just a little bit bitter. But that's a "me problem": You may love it! When you find yourself slogging around town later in the evening, ravenous for a decent meal, trying to decide which deserted restaurant you want to try to force to feed you, go to BJ's. This was my first time here and I'm so glad I came! Although I had a great experience at first, my entree was less than sub par and I was quite disappointed but all of the other factors, food and service was what made me give this place a 4/5. Food- I tried the garlic parmesan wings and MAN WERE THEY GOOD! They were the perfect amount of crispy and the flavor was on point. The only thing I might add with that is that the sizes were very random and there were some very small ones with almost no meat on them. For an entree, I got the deep dish pizza and this is where my absolute disappointment came in. The pizza was NOT deep dish - just really thick crust that was dry, flaky and not that great. I felt like the pizza was straight from the freezer (yikes!) and the toppings were falling all over the place, the sausage tasted rubbery.. just not good. I left more than half behind. Super disappointed and didn't scream deep dish but thick dish. Drinks- I ordered a patron and soda water with (extra) lime and that was perfect. The drinks are made strong, they look very presentable and the price of it was not bad. They also have a huge beer list if you like or prefer beer! Service/atmosphere- The water was great, he was really pleasant and seemed to really care about his job as well as his customers. He was attentive and seemed very poised. I like that. A+ for him! The atmosphere was fun and inviting, large spaces and just an overall good vibe. I'd like to come back and try something else so I can hopefully turn this 4 into a 5! There's so much potential there. Ordered off of Uber Eats from a restaurant called Slo Roast Kitchen. What I received was a meal from BJ's. Imagine my surprise when I tried to look them up online to inquire about missing items. I ordered the Tri-Tip and Half Rack of Ribs, with a Caesar salad, green beans, and white cheddar mashed potatoes. When I opened the bag, the cutlery was missing. I am staying at a hotel. It was being delivered to the hotel. Think someone might have thought to include some plasticware. The Tri-Tip was overcooked, but it still had some good flavor. The mashed potatoes were very good. The green beans were non-existent. Lastly, the ribs barely had any meat on them at all. The Caesar salad? It was a Caesar salad. What would have cost $28 in the restaurant, ended up being $45 delivered. If I had known where this was coming from, I would have chosen something more in line with that price tag. Instead, Uber Eats and Door Dash, et.al., leave customers guessing as to the value of what they are ordering. Very dissatisfied. read more

Went here for a birthday lunch with friends on a weekday during an off time. Late for lunch. Early for dinner. There was only one other table seated at this time so the restaurant was not busy. Ordered the soba noodle poke bowl. It was awful. The soba noodles were old, not prepared well...something. Mgr stated she would re-make the meal. Brought it back. It had to be the same meal just prettied up in the back as there was no improvement to taste and texture of the noodles which is a huge component to this meal. Friends ordered a burger and chicken sandwich. They were disappointed and said they will not be back as there are just too many good places in the area to eat. Sometimes you'll get a great waiter and sometimes you won't even get a water refill. It really depends on the day, but consistency is the main problem here. For food, we like coming here on Wednesdays because they have a $10 fully loaded burger special that comes with unlimited french fries. Some of the best fully loaded burgers include their fried jalapeno burger, bacon guacamole burger, or their bbq brisket burger. They are super juicy burgers piled high with toppings, and who doesn't love bottomless hot, crispy french fries! Come during happy hour and you can get a $4 BJ's handcrafted signature beer to wash the burger down as well. Happy hour is Mon-Fri 3-7pm and Sun-Thurs 9-11pm. If you still aren't full, be sure to try their famous pizookies! Basically different flavors of hot skillet cookies topped with ice cream. They had a special going on for the month of October which made all pizookies only $3. Or if you sign up for the BJ's email, they often have free pizookie days! We took my sister out to dinner who was visiting from out of town. We were promptly seated at our table and that's when everything went sour. The server came to our table, did not greet us and boy was he unpleasant. We told him we'll wait a few minutes before ordering from the happy hour menu. So he took our drink orders and then tells us that we can't order alcohol at the table and it has to done at the bar only. Which was strange to me, we got the vibe he didn't want to wait on us, so we asked the hostess if she can go ahead and move us to another section. She was also unpleasant and responded she didn't care what we did and to do what we wanted ‍. Experience was terrible we didn't get to eat and the only reason they got two stars was because management was very nice to come and talk to us. Never had this issue here before maybe staff was a bad day. Will maybe try again some day lol read more

I came here earlier with my nephew, who'll return to college in San Antonio in a few days. We were fortunate to have Vanessa as our waitress; she sat us in front of a TV that was showing NFL Network. In my book, it's a plus to watch some tube -- especially sports -- while eating and drinking. We began with the Best Beginnings appetizer sampler consisting of boneless buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, and avocado egg rolls. The item was big enough to feed two people. We were close to stuffed by the time our main meals arrived. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was accompanied by an ample serving of fries. Not like it matters, but for some reason, I forgot to douse the fries with ketchup. Good thing they were tasty without the Heinz. I really enjoyed the sandwich. Simply put, it can best be described as a sizable piece of fried chicken nicely coated with a variety of seasoning and spices in between a bun. The pickles gave the fowl a solid sour kick. I managed to finish it despite being full from the appetizers. As for the rating, BJ's actually scores a 4.5. The restroom could be maintained better. read more

I was highly pleased with my second visit to BJ's because my first visit was not good but that's in the past. We only went for the pizookie but because I was hungry from not eating at the first stop I ordered an appetizer, the spinach stuffed mushrooms and OH MY WORD, delicious! Picture attached. The pizookie is only 3 dollars on Tuesday. Ordered the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream, it's also gluten free. Pretty good service. I loved that the music wasn't too loud! The appetizers were absolutely delicious. (Spinach artichoke dip and Pretzel with beer cheese!) however when it came to service and my main meal it wasn't as good. I ordered a mini pizza without mushrooms. It had mushrooms all over it. When we asked about it she said it was the kitchens fault. That was all. Then I asked for Dr Pepper and was given coke and never got a refill. No one at my table got more than 1 refill. Then the server came and complained about her staff, the kitchen, the management, and it made the evening not enjoyable. read more
