Great selection of food and I always ask for Julie Ruffner to be my waitstaff . She goes above and beyond even when I want to omit or add items in certain dishes. She is so accommodating and very efficient in what she does. Her attitude is always fantastic. Love love love this restaurant. We travel from Pearland to go to the one in Webster because the service is so much better! We especially love Julie because she takes such good care of us. Placed an online order on website. Received no email from Grub Hub. However, money was taken off my credit card. The cashier said it happens all the time. She said she would take my order if I wanted. I had already waited 40 minutes on Grub Hub to place the order. I went somewhere else. I knew there must have been a fluke on the 1st visit because this place is always packed and the menu is so heavy and filled with many options we tried again and our server Brian was Awesome and friendly and attentive, we were not greeted with the smell of cigarette smoke as we entered the restaurant, our mozzarella stick were more cold inside. You always wait to long for everything -- for the server to arrive, for the food to arrive and for the check to arrive. We've been here about 20 times and this is consistent. Tonight the meal was nearly perfect. We started with a salad. If you read my reviews you know, for me, a salad's purpose is as a socially acceptable transport mechanism for blue cheese dressing. Their blue cheese was delicious. We had a Bloody Mary which was good and not stingy (their martinis are too small and too expensive). And, we had the prime rib dip sandwich. Although our service with Angelique was good, the sliders had no flavor. The french fries were decent, but the only thing that gave the patties flavor were the pickle and ketchup. I usually love BJs. But this location kind of sucks. Even though there was no one with a five pm reservation, they refused to take our reservation because there was one for 4pm and 6pm. When my group was seated it took forever before our drink orders with were taken and even longer before we actually got our drinks. At this point the restaurant was still fairly empty. As the dinner time ruch came, our service got worse and worse. Our waiter let our dirty dishes pile up to a small mountain, then he wouldn't bring us our checks for quite a while. I would think with the lines of people waiting for tables, they would want to collect their money so that they can free up a table. The only good thing about tonight was the food. Bjs has been a quiet spot to chill out at on Thursdays after our Bible classes get out. It is dark , mostly quiet and comfy. The hostess jackie was very kind to us and our son. The food was pretty tasty with crispy french fries and the bj's bacon cheeseburger with a good portion of succulent beef meat and hard wood thick bacon. The French fries we're done on point too. My wife and sister in law got the pan pizza and both agreed it was very good! This place gets my four stars for being good and consistently bringing good food. My mother and I came here for dinner after we left Baybrook mall. First, there's outdoor patio seating and that's where we sat. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Second, our server was nice but the service was kind of slow. Like we had waited like 5-10 minutes just for our drinks. I ordered a Strawberry Mojito and my mom ordered a Dr. Pepper. The mojito was alright, nothing too special. Third, our food was a little slow coming out. But it was worth the wait! LOL! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms and wedge fries! I ordered their basic burger--it was good but definitely on the greasy side. As I stated earlier, I always come here for the pizookies. They have a special deal on Tuesdays where this delicious dessert is only $3. It's such a simple sweet: giant cookie with ice cream, but it is executed so well every time. A must-order for when you come here. The chocolate chunk pizookie has such a classic flavor, but if you like chocolate, go for the cookies n cream pizookie: my absolute favorite! We haven't been here in a couple of years so we went again. It is only fair that I give you an updated review. Last time, I have them three stars. This time, I give them three stars. I guess BJ's will never become one of our favorites. My wife, son, and I came in early Friday evening. We wanted to beat the rush to get to a movie. We arrived around 6:00 PM and beat the rush. Literally 10 minutes later, there was a wait. We were quickly seated and the service was spot on. Drinks were ordered and brought to us. Speaking of drinks, they have really good lemonade. I ordered the Root Beer Wings as an appetizer. My wife ordered a pizza so she and I could split it. My son ordered one of the burgers with no onions and no mayo. Yes, we realize this wasn't our healthiest meal of the week. Our server specifically asked if we wanted the appetizer before the meal or with the rest of the food. I asked if them to bring it before the meal. We didn't wait too long for the food. However, my son received his burger with onions and mayo. The manager was one of the people that helped deliver our food. She noticed the onions and said, "Oh, I see this has onions on it. Is that OK?" He said it was ok simply because it wasn't smothered in them and we were going to a movie so he would just take them off. When he took the top bun off, he also noticed the burger had mayo. He ended up sending it back and waiting for another one. Magically, it was prepared correctly in about 2 minutes (literally). Our server stated it was already ready but the person serving the food (remember the manager?) had grabbed the wrong burger. He apologized. The pizza was on a thin crust and tasted pretty good. A thin crust pizza at BJ's is really thin but that is the way we like it so it was fine. My wife ended up taking some of it home to eat as lunch the next day. If you notice, I did not mention the wings yet. That is because I did not get them yet. I was supposed to get them before the meal. It was an appetizer. We got them after the rest of the food. I've never had their Root Beer Wings so I didn't really know what to expect. The sauce is the same texture as a BBQ sauce. Simply, it is a BBQ sauce with a root beer flavor. I liked it ok but won't rush back to order it again. We ended up eating a free dessert because of all of the mix-ups. Bottom Line: Food is average and the staff needs to pay better attention to their orders upon delivery to the table. It may be a couple more years before I go back again. Bon appétit. read more

Called and had to basically order again for pickup after I got the food delivered because I didn't want to get out being sick and all. Get home to start eating now that my son had his food and I did not get the horseradish and turns out I got the couscous mac and cheese. Honestly so annoyed. read more
