I've been going to this BJ's location for about two years without complaint. In the beginning, the hired help was good on some days and lacking on others. But lately, it has gotten worse almost every day. It's a toss-up now between whether or not you'll encounter pleasant, on-the-ball employees or completely clueless ones. Or worse, downright rude, as a few seem to be each time I've met them on my most recent trips. Poor customer service will genuinely detract from a beautiful experience, even if this overall store is clean and tidy and has some fantastic sales. Whether or not you're willing to put up with the lack of service, though, is up to you. Buyer beware. **TIP: They REFILL (note, NOT replace) propane tanks at this location, but you must pay for them in the vehicle service center. Keep in mind that the vehicle service center has hours that differ from the main shopping building. Unless, of course, you're buying a brand-new tank. Then you have to buy this in the main shopping building (if you can find one) and bring it back to the vehicle service center to get filled up. read more

This isn't my "home" BJ's Club. This is near my employer. I got everything we needed - plates, chicken tenders, cheese, sliced apples, and water (their brand is always $3.99 for 40 full sized!) It's nicely laid out and clean. I love the self check out lanes!!! read more

I went into a time warp to 2020 the other day at the Voorhees, NJ BJ's location. Proof time travel exists. Approximately every 3 minutes in between the reminder to keep your curtain-crawling crumb-crunchers with you, an effeminate voice expressed "We care about your health at BJ's. Please maintain social distancing of 6 feet from other customers and associates." Don't you feel all warm and comforted because BJ's cares about you? How about firing the Millennial marketing dope who thinks we are idiots and just play music. I have complained about this before. If it doesn't change soon, Doc Brown, Marty McFly and I are heading over to Costco. read more

just left BJs VOORHEES and the old grump at the door told me the store doesn't trust me to leave unless they check my receipt. ironically I've been going here for 5 years and they have never found I hadn't tried to steal something. but they have caught mistakes cashiers made that saved me money. maybe he needs to find a job that doesn't involve customer service. read more

I came, I saw, I bought in bulk!!! This review of BJs Wholesale Club, include positives, negatives, and an overall grade for store/experience in conclusion. Positives: BJs Wholesale Club...get ready for a lot of praise and positives. I love that the store is in close proximity to my house, which is in my township. Membership, which is yearly, I enjoy because it is really a one time fee to enjoy all the tranquillity and benefits for shopping in bulk. The store layout I picked up real quick and helps when I have to visit regardless if I have time to shop or if I have to get in and out real quick. Breakfast foods, poultry, ice cream, pull ups, wipes, salads, snacks for kids, juice, water, chips, laundry detergent, clothes, and electronics are among some of the things I regularly purchase from BJs. Negatives: What word is foreign for "none?" There are no negatives in terms of drawbacks or dislikes when it cones to this store. Period!!!! Overall Grade: A+ The best store to be a member of for shopping in bulk for any household. This is my #1 go to store for packing my household with food to last us in weekly spans. I waited more than 30 minutes to checkout. There was a group of three who stopped the line for this entire time, and I was second to them. There was no response from the employees to try and help speed up the process. Despite a line spanning more than 20 people, there was only ever one check out station available. There was one worker who checking people out at the Self Checkout area. Why couldn't they just open another line? Even more infuriating, there were two supervisors that stood around and were chatting away without concern for the situation. It's was only after I finally checked out, and only 2 people were left in the line, that another line opened. What's the point of opening another line when there's no one left? I felt cheated out of my time, and numerous times I thought of leaving without my groceries. The idea that this could happen again makes me never want to go back. read more

When the price went up to $50, I stopped for a few years. But I went back when they had a promotion, and I'm glad I did. The prices are not always a lot cheaper, but the quality is very good. read more

So I went to get my tires done at this place which was a huge mistake. I bought the tires then had to wait a week for installation. I show up to get them installed a week later and decide to walk around Bjs while they install them. I get a call saying they cant find the lock for my wheels so I will have to reschedule. I asked them 3 times are tough sure you cant find the lock and they said we looked everywhere. They gave me the car back and I decided to just double check because these 2 guys seem like they were high. Low and behold the lock was in my glove compartment right where both of them said they looked. I saw the Hr manager and told him but he just walked away. DONT COME HERE FOR TIRES!!! read more

The guys at the tire center are great, friendly, and respectful, 5 stars to them. But, one of the managers at this BJ's store doesn't let me make a purchase because the BJ's cards isn't mines (it's my family members card) and usually other BJ stores allow people to use cards even if it isn't theirs (only if it's a family card or friends). read more

Horrible. The people stand around not caring about their customers and don't know anything about the store and products. Ask where something is and you get a look that says it all... Do we sell that?... or...oh yeah we have that but I don't know where it is. AAAAAAAaaaaa. Help! They won't help with your coupons. AND The most annoying part is the 1 single cart for kids with a car up front. It doesn't even work well. You can hear it coming a mile away so there's no getting around explaining to your child why he can't be in one. read more

So we all know Bj's is putting tons of Promo's or Mailers out. We decided to go check out the one in Voorhees. With the mailer in hand we were set to go and purchase a membership for Bj's. When we arrived the greeter told us to go to customer service and they will help us. The line was long, and moving slow. We decided to go look around instead of waiting just to see if they had anything we were going to purchase before we bought our membership. Well, we did not purchase anything and decided not to buy a membership (was cheap with the mailer) because there just wasn't anything that different or special. We already have a Sams membership and just didn't see any value in having a Bj's as well, even though it was only $25 with the mailer. Bj's you need to hire people, Period! Obviously you are trying to get new members with all of your promo's. If i didn't have to wait I would have purchased the membership. But the lack of employees gave us time to decide that it just wasn't for us. Your dumping tons of money into marketing when you should be spending that money on labor, because you obviously can't handle the business you already have. read more

I had a terrible experience at this place. The guy who worked there was EXTREMELY rude. He was not wearing his mask properly over his nose and his pants were sagging. He also refused to take a tire off a bad rim and said I have to buy all the tires there for him to replace it ! Never heard such a thing.. please take my advice and never go to bjs tire repair. read more

It's always crowded and rightfully so they have some good deals, the same as Costco and Sam's but some things are cheaper. Always a sufficient amount of cashiers working. read more

Over the years, I have bought everything from swing sets to prime steaks, and from birthday cakes to a trampoline.

Everything I need and then some!!! Our family can not get out of this place without dropping at least $100 a visit but we usually are all set for a month or two with the items that we purchase. We get our dog food, bottled waters, baby items, paper goods and some groceries here. They offer a variety of items for purchase. They also offer different rewards options like 2% back on purchases. They have parking for expectant mothers and families with small children which is really nice. read more

The BJs on route 73 in Voorhees, NJ caused BJs to lose a customer. I redeemed $120 cash back in the last 12 months they asked what can they do, I said nothing just cancel my account, I went to the self check out and was flagged with void transaction..I didn't have any coupons today nor do I use coupons each time but was told that I can't check myself out because I used too many coupons. I was baffled and told the cashier it's not your fault but cancel my order and cancel my account. Membership looked up my account and said what can we do..they can remove that flag off of my account. Why put a flag on my account in the 1st place? Now you see the total I spend and you want to remove something that should have never been placed on my account. Customer service said that they just recently changed the coupon rule and she was sorry this happened. I told her it's not your fault either but no notice, rule coupon warning just shame a person before I start my purchase. So I'll take my money and spend and use coupons with another vendor and will inform my company of what was done when I go to work on Monday so they will know the vendor they invite for employees to sign up..shame on BJs! read more

The aisles are large enough to navigate with other customers in them. The selection is restricted to certain brands and amounts, but you can't beat the price at any grocery store half the time all year round. There is less employee necessity, so you can shop, scan, and pack without unnecessary human interaction except the end where an employee checks your cart and receipt at a glance. All in all it is worth the expense considering a rewards membership gives you 2% back. This is where we do a majority of our shopping...only using regional grocery stores on occasion. read more

I worked there and the people suck and will never go there even to shop never have I seen a bunch of ignorant rude people in my life they fire the good ones and keep the rude nasty ones with talk about backwards and I saw first hand that the management absolutely doesn't give a hoot either the cashiers never great their breaks and if they do they are always late or people that come in after them get theirs first and if you say something you get fired they find things to fire you if you speak up and as far as the way customers are treated I feel sorry for them for they way they are treated and the handicap they refuse to help them if they need help I saw one cashier and a film make fun of a vet while I was working I said something and the next day was fired for it as I am married to a vet I am never shopping at any bjs ever again if it weren't for our vets we would not be free so shop there with caution every person who walks thru the frontdoors gets judged good luck read more
