Tonight we visited from out of town and stopped by for some early dinner. We sat at the Bar and had some great conversations interacting with Lori, Shawn and Melissa. I must say these employees are top notch keeping the conversation alive and attentive to us all the while making drinks, serving, chatting with other customers and maintaining a clean environment... talk about multitasking! The food was great and tried some of the garlic butter on our steak for the first time, so delicious! So disappointing. The steaks were super thin, with about 2 tablespoons of mashed potatoes and three pieces of broccoli on the plate. The meal was $35.00. It was such a letdown. We used to go there all the time and thought we would try it again, we won't be returning. It's too bad as the atmosphere there is fantastic. We also ordered the shrimp cocktail and I actually laughed when they brought it out. Our server was fabulous and we left her a good tip, as none of this was her fault. Note the comment below the review from the General Manager to contact them regarding this issue. I reached out twice and was never contacted. So as it may seem they wanted to discuss this issue, nothing ever came of that. read more

Had a reservation for 5 pm on Veterans day, seated at 5:05. Took 20 minutes to get a server, when he came he said he had other tables and no one told him our table was his. Sorry lame excuse! Placed the order, waited another 15 minutes for the appetizer, told him to bring the salads right away, another 10 minutes. Received our food at 5:59 pm by the manager. I made a complaint to him, told him it was the worst service I had ever received in my 10 years of going to Black Angus. He apologized and said he would check back on us, never saw him again. Barely saw our waiter either! Got the check, they gave us $17.00 off the check for our trouble. Never going back again. You have lost us Black Angus! read more

We had dinner reservations. At first the service was average at best but once we placed our orders, the service went to terrible. We waited over 30 minutes for our entrees to arrive and when they did we all were disappointed in the taste and presentation. The chicken and ribs were so dry and tough you could hardly chew. It appeared the food was under heat lamps for a very long time. To top it off the bill was almost $300 with tip. This is unacceptable and we will never return especially when there are so many restaurant options available. read more

Came for Prime Rib. After opening wine told that prime rib was not available. Now I know to ask if it is available before ordering. Ended up ordering rib eye, but, honestly, I could cook a comparable steak on my grill. So disappointed. read more
