Sirloin with Mac and cheese and loaded baked potatoes

Our waiter Alex was super sweet and helpful. He proactively offered advice and recommended drinks. It's a super weird setup though. We had a reservation for 5pm for 2 people. There were PLENTY of seating. But they made us wait in the lobby for at least 10 mins before they sat us at our table. There were other groups sitting in the lobby waiting to be seated. So it seems it's how things work here. For the price, the food quantity was awesome. Our steaks were perfectly cooked at medium rare. Presentation and quality of the sides and apps.... Well, you get what you pay for. We were an adult and a growing 13 year old who devour everything. So we did the Campfire feast for 2. For starters we paid $7 for their sampler. Main, we ordered two cuts of steak for the kiddo to try and decipher which one he liked better. For sides we get to pick 2 each. Finally we get one dessert at the end. On top of the feast, we ordered a strawberry lemonade as well as a mixed berries mojito. The bill came to just over $100 with taxes.

When the ONLY redeeming quality of our meal were the fresh and delicious salads AND we're at a steakhouse.... It's not good. I have never written a review of this nature, but we were SO disappointed in a meal that we expected to be excellent as Black Angus's usually are. We waited 45 minutes to be seated, which is to be expected. No problem. However, we were bumping up against the start of the concert we were going to or we would have had time to request an adjustment in the steaks....new ones or to order something different. We ordered a French Dip (was excellent), a 6oz Filet Mignon (medium well), and a Porterhouse Steak (medium). Both steaks were cooked as ordered but were very gristly. The Filet was unexpectedly gristly throughout the steak, but half of the Porterhouse was edible. Both steaks lacked "flavor". Our waiter, Max, was busy, but appropriately attentive and our meal came out quickly for as busy as they were. The restaurant itself was clean, well-lit, and comfortable. I wish we'd had time to address our concern with the steaks-to give them a chance to remedy the situation.

Baked potato soup - really good

We decided to stop in for lunch after spotting a Valentine's Day deal on the InKind app ($20 off $60), and after signing up for their rewards program we scored an additional $10 off--always a win. We ordered the Campfire Feast for Two ($69), which is honestly a solid value for the amount of food you get, plus complimentary bread. Definitely enough to share and leave full. Service was friendly and prompt when it came to taking our order. When we asked for recommendations, the responses felt a bit dry, but overall the service was still pleasant. The food was good overall, though not quite "craving-level" for us. One highlight was the ambiance--we really liked the décor and how bright the space was. We've been to other locations that felt too dark, so this was a nice change. Food breakdown: * Baked potato soup: 7/10 - my husband would order it again. * NY steak (medium well) & broccoli: 6/10 - steak was cooked perfectly, but flavor was a bit lacking. The broccoli was supposed to have garlic butter but didn't. * BBQ chicken & ribs: 7/10 - my husband enjoyed it. Cheese was forgotten on his baked potato at first, but it was fixed after asking. * Buffalo tenders: 8/10 - really good. * Cookie & ice cream: 7/10 - a solid way to end the meal. After discounts, two drinks, and tip, our total came out to $69.63, which felt very reasonable for what we got. Overall, a nice lunch spot with a great deal--worth checking out, especially if you catch a promotion.

Went to Black Angus with a group of friends for a birthday, and overall it was a nice time. I shared the Campfire Feast with a friend--I chose the crab cakes and she chose the dessert. I had the salmon with a baked potato and salad. The salmon was a little dry but still okay. My salad was good, but the honey mustard was really thick, so I switched to a different dressing. I asked for my baked potato plain with toppings on the side, but it came out with toppings already inside. They did fix it. The crab cakes weren't our favorite--they tasted a little too fishy. For dessert, my friend got the carrot cake and said it was good, but I couldn't try it because it had walnuts. Another friend had to send her steak back because it was too tough. The atmosphere is very casual and could use a little updating. Our waitress was not overly friendly. I did appreciate that they let us split the checks for a large group. They also brought out a complimentary birthday dessert, which was nice. Overall, it was a good celebration, but the restaurant itself was just okay. I probably wouldn't go back anytime soon.

Prime Rib with baked potato and au jus, fresh horseradish, and creamed horseradish.

I have been to various Black Angus restaurants throughout my life. It will always be one of my favorites. This one has a brightly lit open dining area which is different from the darker secluded booths of some Black Angus restaurants in the past. I appreciate the ambiance of a lower lit dining room but this is a good change. It took a moment of getting used to the open concept dining room but I knew I can always expect great tasting food and excellent service. My mainstay has always been the Prime Rib. A delicious 16 ounce Prime Rib can be found here. The temperature was a perfect medium rare. It came with a baked potato which was creamy from the sour cream and butter. I liked that fresh horseradish was automatically on my plate alongside the creamed horseradish and au jus. I always like to add more horseradish to the prepared creamed one and enjoy the sinus clearing sharp bite. A fresh salad and crusty brown bread also came with the meal. My dinner tasted good and was very satisfying as expected. The portion size for everything was generous and I was able to take the remaining food home to enjoy the next day. Service was exemplary. The food arrived at the table quickly from the kitchen. There is plenty of parking in their lot and the restaurant is easy to find in the area. This is a definite return in the near future for a good dining experience.

Service 5 - SUPER FANTABULOUS FOOD 4 - Yummylicious The food here has always been 4 stars at least ... What always makes the overall experience 5 stars is because of professionals like Luis! His phenomenal customer service level is evident by his meticulous care of how we are being taken care of. His welcoming persona when he speaks to us and an amazing genuineness that no one can fake! We have had a rough few months and really needed some cheering up. The for sure GREAT SERVICE by Luis is why Black Angus Ontario is our go to. Our food came out yummy, because Luis double-checks everything to make sure it's how we ordered the meals. He remembers moments that he had with us in the past which makes us even appreciate the happy vibes that he exudes. For that period of time, we got to enjoy our meal, laugh, reminisce and just breathe. I am pretty sure you guessed why I gave 5 stars for service! The food! 4 stars. We each ordered the special which included your choice of steak, a 4 oz lobster tail, fried shrimps and two sides. Except hubby. He had to choose the ribeye. We all ordered medium rare steaks and three out of 4 were cooked perfectly. I need to remember to say more on the rare side for mine They were seasoned so well, we didn't need extra condiments. The lobster tails were flavorful and all perfectly cooked. The fried shrimps are usually a lil more crispier, but their cocktail sauce is so darn good, it made up for it. We also ordered the calamari and Wagon Wheel Sampler! Absolutely yummylicious! The hubster had the sweet blackberry tea adult version, and he said it definitely tasted great with the right kick. It is always a pleasure coming to this location. I wish others can learn from the Ontario team about service and quality.

    Tomahawk Ribeye Dinner For Two

Went to the Black Angus in Ontario after receiving bad service at the Black Angus in San Bernardino. Waited a few minutes to be seated and after 15 minutes, we had drinks and appetizers. Even though the restaurant was busy, our waitress Holly was on point with our drinks, appetizers, food, condiments and refills. The Tomahawk was cooked exactly how we ordered it. I recommend this Black Angus restaurant for a good meal and good service.

We usually go where we live and have a great experience but we went to Black Angus in Rancho Cucamonga and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Our server seemed overwhelmed and kept making mistakes. My husband's drink was wrong, and we were even charged for something we didn't order. Service felt disorganized overall. I do feel a bit bad because he looked very stressed and was sweating a lot, but the experience still wasn't great. Hoping it was just an off night. My drink was good.

Leslie absolutely MADE our night. From the moment we sat down, she was welcoming, upbeat, and on top of everything without ever being overbearing. She knew the menu, gave great recommendations, and checked in at just the right times. Drinks stayed full, food came out perfect, and the whole experience felt smooth and relaxed because of her. The food at Black Angus Steakhouse was solid and a great value for the price, but honestly, Leslie is the reason we'll be coming back. Service like that is hard to find these days, and she truly went above and beyond. If you're dining here, ask for Leslie ,she's a standout and deserves all the praise.

I was craving a steak so I decided to come here made a good choice. My steak was so delicious and so juicy just like I like it. The service was wonderful. The waitress was really nice if you're in this area stop on by.

Cobb salad with the crispy shrimp you can also get the non-crispy salmon, chicken or steak.

AMBIANCE 5.5/10…read more After spending way too long trying to decide what to eat, we finally settled on seafood boil and landed on The Big Catch because of their all-you-can-eat option. Walking in, our first impression wasn't great the building looked a little run down. Once inside, though, the vibe improved. It had a rustic sports bar feel with TVs everywhere, an open bar, and a seafood station. Nothing fancy, but not terrible. EXPERIENCE 7/10 The service was one of the better parts of the visit. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and took the time to answer our questions and recommend a few items. The food took a little while to come out. BTW there's a 90 minute limit after we were seated and the second round of our seafood took 30 minutes to come out (they apparently forgot our order) and they proceeded to tell us we had last call right after our second round of food barely got to the table. Not sure if that's done on purpose but we really didn't really appreciate that. Overall though, the staff definitely made the experience better. THE FOOD 5/10 Here's where things started to fall apart. The first all-you-can-eat platter came with two snow crab clusters, 1/2lb crawfish, 1/2lb mussels, 1/2lb peeled shrimp, plus unlimited sides. One thing that caught us off guard and maybe we just missed it on the menu is that after your first round, you can no longer order the snow crab or peeled shrimp. That was disappointing since those ended up being the best seafood options on the table. The snow crab was solid, and the peeled shrimp were surprisingly good the texture was crunchy and we didn't get any fishy smell or flavors. Everything after that... not so much. Round two included whole shrimp, clams, and scallops. The portions were noticeably smaller, and almost everything tasted like it had been frozen for too long. The crawfish lacked freshness, the whole shrimp had the same issue and were mushy without the initial crunch additionally the shrimp was hard to peel which makes us think that it was POSSIBLY reheated, and the scallops were tiny with a strong fishy flavor that made them hard to enjoy. Even the House/Cajun seasoning didn't do much to save it. It was too oily and honestly just tasted like salt, there was no spiciness either and we got the hot flavor. Ironically, the sides ended up carrying the meal. The cucumber salad was fresh and crunchy, which balanced out some of the heavier seafood, and the sweet potato fries were honestly one of our favorite things we ordered. And one last thing... somehow even the water tasted off. What We'd Order Again Snow Crab Clusters Peeled Shrimp Fish Taco Sweet Potato Fries Cucumber Salad Sausage Corn Skip These Whole Shrimp Clams Mussels Scallops Crawfish House/Cajun Seasoning Cajun Fries Cajun Wings Boiled Egg Water Final Rating If you're going for the all-you-can-eat seafood, don't expect premium quality. The first round is decent, but once the crab and peeled shrimp are off the table, the meal drops off pretty quickly. Would we come back? Definitely not. We ended up paying 90$ for 2 people which you can argue is good since it's an AYCE seafood meal but afterwards after speaking to the waiter we found out the shrimp and crawfish was indeed frozen that along with all the other disappointing food doesn't make us feel like it was worth the money. Overall Gassington Rating: (5/10)

The poor experience began at the host stand. I had a reservation for 1:15 PM but arrived early and was sat at 12:56 PM. Despite my active reservation, when the host led me to the table, she asked if the reservation was under "M." When I got to the table and asked who "M" was, she dismissively replied that they "just put down an alphabet." When asked about drinks, I said "water for now," and every time I said "thank you" to our server, I was met with complete silence and zero acknowledgment. Once my guest--who is white--joined me at the table, the dynamic shifted entirely. He received 95% of the server's warmth, eye contact, and attention. The only time the server actively engaged with me was to take my physical food order. Even the food had issues--our first crab cake was served overcooked. Because my guest was the one who pointed it out, the manager came over and addressed him to replace it. While the manager's interaction was a bit better, the server's dismissive attitude toward me never improved for the rest of the meal. To top it off, I was the one who paid the bill. When the server returned my credit card, instead of handing it back to me, she chose to place the presenter book directly in the middle of the table. As a business owner, I understand how critical customer service is. The selective attentiveness and dismissive attitude I experienced today felt incredibly biased and completely ruined our lunch. I will not be returning to this location.

I was told my order would take about 30 minutes, so I walked over to the mall across the street to pass the time. I even gave them an extra 15 minutes just to be safe. Unfortunately, my food still wasn't ready. In total, I waited about an hour before getting my order. The good news? The food was worth it. I ordered the fried catfish, fried red snapper, fries, greens, and red beans and rice. The catfish was perfectly cooked, the fries were outstanding, and the greens were flavorful. The red snapper was a little overcooked, and the red beans and rice had a bit too much seasoning for my taste, but overall everything was fresh and delicious. If you don't mind waiting, this is definitely a solid seafood spot. I'll be back, but next time I'll make sure I plan for the longer wait. Until next time... this has been "The Kendall Experience."

Boiling Point Hot Pot is easily one of the best lunch spots in town, offering an incredible…read moreall-you-can-eat experience for a full two hours at a great price. The dining process is super convenient and straightforward: you select your favorite soup base from options like Tonkotsu or Spicy Miso on your order sheet, choose your starting cuts of meat, and then head over to the self-serve area to round out your meal. The quality of the food across the board is top-notch--the meats arrive fresh and finely sliced, and you can reorder as much as you want at no additional charge. What truly sets this place apart, beyond the delicious food and attentive service, is the comfortable dining environment. Unlike many other hot pot restaurants where the heat leaves you sweating through your meal, the AC here is powerful and keeps the room perfectly cool. You can fully enjoy cooking your hot pot with unlimited trips to the self-serve bar for fresh veggies, sauces, seafood, noodles, and dessert without feeling uncomfortably warm. It is an all-around fantastic spot for a relaxed, delicious, and satisfying lunch.

The food itself was fine but nothing extraordinary especially for that price point. My husband and…read moreI visted for lunch last Friday and had the Tonkotsu and Szechuan broth base. We stuck to the beef and the pork belly which was very good, the beef not so much though. The buffet bar had plenty of options and sauces so that was a plus but unfortunately the lack of service really made this experience a two-start rating. We were greeted (dryly), seated, and left to figure out the confusing ordering sheet. Thankfully we have experience with HotPot and (sort of) figured it out and even after we expressed concern about how we were suppose to order/write down our meat selections per round (which they claim is unlimited but they only have 3 columns on the sheet) our questions remained unanswered. Trying to flag a waiter down to order more meat was a pain as hardly any were available and we were missing appetizers on our "second" but with the way the service was we figured there wasn't any point in bringing it up not to mention the lack of (flat) soda refills. I doubt we will be returning.

We purchased multiple levels of heat, seasonings and food I only tried the shrimp and the mussels, LOVED the sauce on the mussels and really enjoyed my shrimp. I personally had a pound of shrimp to myself and it was a good amount of shrimp. Also got Cajun fries, rice and fried calamari all were good but the fried banana cheesecake was delicious!!! The location and hand washing station were also all clean. Would recommend coming here!

The appetizers and side dishes were good, and we enjoyed the fries, noodles, and calamari. The only disappointment was the special sauce that comes with the crawfish and shrimp boil. The flavor wasn't what we expected and tasted more like a tomato-based sauce. Compared to places like The Boiling Crab or Kicking Crab, it lacked the buttery, garlicky, and savory flavor we were looking for. Unfortunately, the sauce was the main reason my kids and I didn't enjoy the seafood. Since the sauce is such an important part of a seafood boil, it really affected our overall experience. The food itself was fresh, and the service was fine, but we would probably choose The Boiling Crab or Kicking Crab next time.
