Ambience: The restaurant has a very modern look to it, and feels comfortable overall. The decor is pretty nice and creates a welcoming atmosphere, although it would be betterv if the place was a bit cleaner, but it is what it is. One thing I did notice is that the tables are placed pretty close together, so it can be a little difficult to move around when it's busy. Service: We had a reservation for 7 PM, and despite it being a busy night, we were seated pretty quickly. Our waiter Sydney was very friendly and informative. Although, the restaurant was very busy, it was sometimes difficult to find our waiter when we needed some refills or wanted to make some requests. It also took a while for us to get the check and pay, which was a slight inconvenience at the end of our dinner. Drinks: Passion Fruit Limeade - it was very fresh and refreshing. I enjoyed it, but i think $20 for a whole jug is a little bit pricey. Food: Spicy Sirloin - The sirloin had a good level of spice that wasn't that overpowerin. It was very tender and easy to cut into. Picanha - got it medium, and it had a great flavor without being overly salty, and it was also very tender. Tri-Tip - I got a thin slice that was cooked medium throughout. It was a little fatty in some areas, but the char on the outside added a lot of flavor to it. Sausage - i think it was okay. It was a little on the saltier side, but still very flavorful. Ribs - The ribs were mostly plain, and I could barely taste the sauce that it had on the outside, but the meat was tender and came off the bone easily. Falnk Steak - i got it thinly sliced, and it was tender and nicely seasoned. It tasted good, although it did seem similar to some of the other cuts that were served Salad Bar: - The salad bar has a good variety of hot and cold items. I liked the potatoes and the lobster bisque. Sides: When you first start out, they give you some Sides at your table. French Fries - The fries were crispy, but a bit dry and they could use some more seasoning or flavor. I think they would be better with some sauce, but fries are fries! We visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate my husband's fire academy graduation, and we were very pleased with the experience. My husband and son are big red meat eaters, and they were pleasantly surprised by the variety of meats offered. I was a bit nervous about the cooking level since my husband prefers his meat well done, but the servers were great about bringing around both well-done and rarer options, which made it easy for everyone to enjoy. I was also happy that they don't charge a full price for toddlers, especially since my daughter didn't eat much, the food was a bit too heavy for her taste. Since I don't eat red meat, I stuck to the Parmesan chicken and shrimp which were part of the skewer options, both really good. The buffet area also had a nice fish option with a flavorful sauce, as well as very good rice. The pricing includes all-you-can-eat skewers along with access to the buffet. We drove up from San Diego for a friend's 50th birthday party. Her husband created the event and had been in contact with the manager to ensure it was fantastic. Unfortunately, they didn't even try. We were placed on the outdoor patio; there were 18 of us. First issue, they didn't set the tables for the correct number of people. Second issue, we had to beg and plead to have the gauchos serve us. They would come to the door, say who would like XXX, and if someone didn't immediately raise their hand, they would go back inside. Even if one of us raised our hand, they would not go around the entire table asking people if they would like to be served that meat. Third issue, my husband and I were served undercooked pork. They removed them from our plates immediately, and we never saw pork again. Fourth issue, if we requested a specific item, we would have to ask several times until someone served us our food. Fifth issue, they never brought out the accompanying items that are automatically served on the table, ie, cheese bread, mashed potatoes, bananas, etc. We would have to wait until our server came out to the patio and then request the items. They would NOT ask if anyone else at the table would care for anything. Sixth issue, they acted as if we were in drought conditions, asking for water was torture. We finally got up and brought over our own pitchers to the table. The seventh issue was that the busboys kept trying to take our plates away. Several times, one of us would have to grab our plate back. EIGHTH issue, when it was time for the cake, they brought us a steak knife to cut the cake, NO serving utensil, and saucers from coffee cups as our dessert plates. I asked for larger plates, and they brought us 11 HOT dinner plates. Just a reminder, there were 18 of us seated. You do the math; they certainly couldn't. I love Brazilian steakhouses, this one is almost the worst one I have been to, it comes in at a very close second. I would never return to this location. I felt sorry for the birthday girl. So we came here on a evening outing since we hadn't tried it yet. Now I will say this, the style of people coming here ranges wildly from business casual to shorts and t-shirts which I thought was funny. We couldn't tell if this was supposed to be a classy upscale or low key family joint. The "Open Table" reservation system, table settings, full bar, and lighting scream moderately upscale but the salad bar/buffet style says bring your kids. The salad bar itself was fairly cramped space wise trying to maneuver around other people plus if you're tall, like me, you're going to be running your head into the hanging plants directly over the salad bar which is weird. The salad bar was decently stocked with options from salads to quinoa and green beans. The hot options ranged from jasmine rice, potatoes au gratin, and lobster bisque. For the main pieces, servers walked around with meats on a skewer serving them as requested. These included chickens, lamb, and beef various ways. Now overall, the food had good flavor and was cooked well. The price for the meal, $62 per person, wasn't too outrageous given all you get, considering they just keep coming with meat until you flip your table card to red. Our go-to Brazilian steakhouse! This is hands down one of our favorite Brazilian spots, and honestly... we definitely prefer it over Fogo de Chão. There's plenty of parking, and we came back for the third year in a row for our Valentine's dinner -- it's basically a tradition at this point. Pro tip: book at least 3 weeks ahead, and if you want to save yourself from the Valentine's chaos, go the day before or after. The crowd wasn't too wild tonight, but the restaurant was still PACKED (because everyone knows it's good). The ambience is always a win -- super open, lively, and the whole place just feels fun and inviting with so much food everywhere you look. Now, first-timers... listen closely: do NOT let the fries, mashed potatoes, cheese bread, and other "fillers" trick you. They are delicious, but they will absolutely take you out before the main event. Pace yourself!! They brought around 6-7 different cuts of meat, including picanha, filet steak, chicken parmesan, BBQ drumsticks, sausage, and more. Everything was flavorful and juicy, but we honestly got full way too fast thanks to the salad bar. And that salad bar? So many options -- fresh salads, sides, little goodies... it's dangerously easy to overdo it. We went to the Rancho location, which is cheaper than Irvine, and I actually prefer this one more. Dinner was about $62 per person, which is a great deal for the quality and endless meat parade. If you're craving steak + a loaded salad bar in a clean, welcoming spot, this is an absolute must-try. Went here for Mother's Day, and although it was very crowded due to the day, the experience was great overall. I've been to Fogo many times, and this was the first time checking out Texas de Brazil, and I have to say, I think I like Texas De Brazil better! The meat service at the start of the dinner was admittedly slow for what looked like the entire restaurant, there was a solid 10-min where no meat was coming except for a chicken sausage. I think that is because they were cooking the meats, because soon after, a bunch of meat started coming out of the kitchen all at once. The quality of the meat was great! The salad bar I think is better than Fogo: I felt the veggies and salads tasted fresher and the area around the salad bar was cleaner. The cheese bread and plantains were amazing as well, much better than Fogo for sure. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and if I am craving Brazilian BBQ again, I'll head over here. read more

My family has eaten at several Texas de Brazil locations, but the RC location was one we haven't been to yet. I made and received a confirmed reservation via my OpenTable app for a 1730 time slot on a Saturday night. I also responded affirmatively that we were celebrating an event. I allowed plenty of time to arrive here, yet the traffic in and around this restaurant is an absolute cluster, especially on Foothill Blvd: one might consider entering this shopping center parking lot from a different direction using other surface streets. Parking anywhere near this restaurant adds yet another several minutes of finding a parking space, even when you distance yourself farther away. Once parked, the wait to check in was short. I was greeted by a friendly hostess who confirmed my reservation and party size and again asked if we were here for a celebratory event. I replied affirmatively and told her we were celebrating our youngest son's graduation from a nearby Technical school. Our reservation name was soon called, and we were escorted to our table. The first observation I made was how cramped this restaurant felt as we walked between already occupied diners sitting at their tables. The tables are so close to each other that a gentleman kept shoving his chair into our table every time he got up from his table; his wife finally caught on by my wife's evil look at her and grabbed his chair to prevent this. After we were seated, a very personable and efficient young gentleman introduced himself to our table as "Curtis". He asked the standard questions regarding our dining experience(s) at Texas de Brazil and took our drink orders. Once that was done, he let us loose to check out the buffet area. I understand that 1730 is in the realm of the prime dinner hour. However, I was not expecting what was presented to us and fellow diners at this location. 1. It seems that because this Texas de Brazil is scaled down in size overall, the buffet area is much smaller than other locations we've eaten at. 2. The smallness of the buffet creates a swarm of hungry folks dodging in and around the buffet offerings, because it seems the staff was not keeping up to ensure there was not any offering completely missing (like the Prosciutto). Folks kept cutting in front of me as soon as they brought out a fresh plate. 3. The hot offerings when we looked were all empty or left with sadly only a couple of servings left. I mean, how do you not have enough plain rice, rice and beans, and all the other hot offerings staged in the kitchen area area ready to deploy on the depleted buffet line during the busy dinner hour rush????? As always, the parade of meats arrived from the kitchen to be offered to our table. As always, the meats we chose were absolutely delicious, juicy, and seasoned properly. I did notice there is a subtle way they get you to finish dinner: the meat parade slows down. In fact, I was observing the entire room of diners: they started asking us what meat or meats you would like more of, specifically sent from the kitchen. Throughout our dining experience at this Texas de Brazil, our server, Curtis made it a truly enjoyable celebratory dinner for us. He was there on cue to bring more bottled water, refilling our goblets as needed, making sure what meat selections we liked were bought out again, and suggested a meat (Spicy Sirloin) to try whiuch our son and I really liked. It has a nice heat element to it, so be aware. The one negative that occurred here was that both my wife and I, a couple of hours after eating, suffered minor G.I issues. It took several minutes to compare what we all ate, but the only common item that both of us ate, and our son didn't, was the whipped goat cheese spread. While we really enjoyed our dinner at this location, this restaurant's physical size, closeness of the dining tables, and inability to keep the buffet food items adequately stocked during the dinner hour rush are shortcomings that will probably be the deciding factor to drive further to the Irvine location for future Texas de Brazil meals. read more

I took my son here for his birthday and he was so excited but it was kind of a letdown. We had a reservation for 1:30pm but didn't get seated for 30 minutes even though the place didn't look full at all. When we finally got seated they said staff was short. I was concerned because I didn't want to spend all this money and they wouldn't have any food or it would be all dried up but they said "there's always meat". Well, turns out we only got about six kinds of meat, some of them I would consider the cheaper cuts like the chicken breast and the sausage. Those kept coming back to us - c'mon, we didn't come here for that! At least we got the picanha and the selections in the salad area were excellent. I didn't want to complain and ruin the vibe on my son's birthday. Also, the place was empty except for four other tables and they put us in the back and everyone else in the front. We recently visited the Texas de Brazil in Rancho Cucamonga, and unfortunately, the service was a huge disappointment. From the beginning, our waitress came across as cold and rude. We asked if our daughter could have a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. At the Irvine location, it's always served with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a cherry, so we politely asked if it could be prepared that way. Instead of offering any accommodation, the waitress abruptly responded, "That's how we serve it here." Things only got worse. When we asked for waters for our children, we were told we had to wait because they needed to serve another table first--even though we had been seated before that table. We also mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday. Again, we were met with another dismissive response that "they don't sing here," despite having experienced birthday celebrations at the Irvine location. Finally, when we finished our meal, we asked for a small to-go box so we could take the food that was still on our daughter's plate. The waitress, visibly annoyed, told us, "We don't do that here." We understand that different locations may have different policies, but there's a difference between having different procedures and providing poor customer service. Every request was met with a cold, dismissive response that made us feel like we were inconveniencing the staff. We've always had exceptional experiences at the Irvine location, where the staff is welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Unfortunately, this Rancho Cucamonga visit was the complete opposite. Armpit hair in the food! -I come into this establishment multiple times per week. I typically prefer this place over Fogo but today I placed a small order for myself as a post-workout meal. The food was prepared to go and when I arrived home I started digging in and noticed an armpit hair on my food. I took it back and asked for them to remake it and to offer something for the inconvenience. They remade it, but did not offer anything extra for the inconvenience. This was our fist visit here, and when you check in with your reservation they ask you. If this is your first visit. I feel this was a missed opportunity for the hostess to sit us near the buffet. An opportunity to impress us by putting us close to the action for our first time. I mean the lighting was different and more welcoming closer to the buffet, Instead they sat us in a corner next to a register where it was darker. Now our waiter Jeff, he was so welcoming and willing to explain the process to us as it was our first time . We walked over to an amazing selection of cold options, my favorite being the shrimp salad with sliced jalepenos. The pickled garlic and green beans were crunchy with roasted almonds. The hot items brought to our table were also good, the mashed potato's were creamy and the fries came out crispy and hot. The lobster bisque is a must have, so creamy and packed with so much flavor. Now to the beef, the house special pichano was amazing the char on the outside was outstanding, rare and just perfect. The fat just melted in my mouth. The garlic filet cut and the flank steak, so tender and again cooked perfectly. All the other proteins did get the same care. The bacon wrapped chicken breast was dry and the Parmesan crusted pork loin over cooked. The sausages were juicy and had a great smoky flavor. The spicy filet was over cooked but had great flavor. Another downside was the lack of a bus boy to remove the empty glasses. Brazilian Bar-b-Que, or traditionally called Churrasco inspired, coarse salt-seasoned meats cooked over open flame. Traditionally cooked over charcoal, but that may be asking too much. The dining experience is a single price. An open salad and sides bar is self-service, as skewers of meat are brought to your table and sliced to your liking onto your plate. Proteins are mainly focused on beef cuts, but sausages, chicken, and lamb may be available. Picanha is the main showpiece. A beef sirloin cut with the fat cap still intact, giving this cut an unmistakable flavor and texture. Tri-tip is also a favorite and is often served along with skirt steak. From a first experience, the service level seemed to be a hit or miss. At the start, the skewers seemed to come often as our empty bellies were filling up with anticipation. The atmosphere was lively, but the cuts were thin, prompting us to ask for a couple of slices for those in our party who had bigger appetites. For a busy Saturday evening, the only skewers that came around were Picanha, Tri-Tip, Skirt Steak, Parmesan Chicken, and Sausages. We asked for revisits several times to our servers, but the skewers never returned. By the time our evening was drawing to a close, those of us who were asking for more Tri-tip became annoyed. At the end of our dining experience, we witnessed other types of meat being served at other tables. Bacon-wrapped chicken and Beef Ribs were items we missed, and I was wondering why they wouldn't be available for our party. We understand if something wasn't available that evening, but the timing was certainly discerning. The salad and sides bar is modestly stocked. You have cold salad items, Charcuterie items, green beans, asparagus, potato salad, and a nice Gratin. Rice and Beans was delicious for a nice hot item. Mashed potatoes and plantains are served directly at your table. Oddly, the plantains just tasted and looked like pan-fried bananas with no caramelization. Please note that desserts are an extra charge, just like drinks. Overall, the experience felt average for the pricing. Many other competitors seem to do a slightly better job. read more

Our server, Curtis, went above and beyond. He made us feel like family visiting his home. He was funny and on top of everything. He made the evening special. If you go there ask for him. Celebrated Mother's Day early at Texas de Brazil with my son, and overall we still had a nice experience. The salad bar alone is one of the best restaurant salad bars I've ever had. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and the chimichurri is honestly the best I've had outside of homemade. I also personally think the meats here taste better than at Fogo de Chão. This visit wasn't as strong as previous ones though. The meats were not seasoned as well this time, and there weren't many well-done options available. Some medium well cuts were coming out bloody and a little tough, and a few meats weren't as hot as they should've been. The biggest issue was consistency with the meat service. We were sitting near the bar area (not at the bar), and it took a long time for meats to come around. We kept requesting certain cuts and they either took forever or never came until much later. This has actually happened to me before here too. That said, our waitress R.H gave some of the BEST customer service I've had in a very long time. She was AMAZING. From start to finis. She should be head trainer! Lol She kept checking on us, putting requests in, and really trying her best to make sure we got what we asked for even when the meats still weren't coming out quickly. Some of the churrasco servers were also really good about making sure we eventually got certain meats. Overall, it was still a nice Mother's Day experience and I definitely left full and happy spending time with my son. I just wish the meat service was faster and more consistent because this place really does have amazing flavor potential. One thing I noticed there was a guy walking around our entire visit with a CIA demeanor. I believe he could have been a GM. Blue shirt on. Walking around just looking and never once greeted, smile or asked if anyone was doing ok. I would not recommend ordering take out from here The bbq ribs were undercooked, super chewy, not worth the price. The filet Mingion was not cooked rare to medium rare as we asked. You can smell and taste the blood was old in it and the meat was old. It didn't come wrapped in bacon- Make sure you check your order when ordering to go!! They gave us one wrong meat and one wrong salad.. The lobster bisque was oil and milk . No lobster taste or pieces, it is a soup but didn't taste like anything at all. but you can see the oil and milk separated. The cheese ball breads were good. The staff in the front, Flor, was super sweet and nice. So being greeted by the ladies in the front and getting recommendations from her gave us high hopes.. But the meat disappointments us. The scalloped potatoes were good but to re warm- yuck! I don't think we will come here again. It looks pretty inside, Maaaaybe, just maaybeeee they gave us "take out" people the bad portions of the food thinking we're guna leave and won't come back to complain? Or we won't notice? Idk but smh I'm so disappointed with this place and we ordered 102$ worth of food. Also! We ordered two pies, Brazilian cheesecake and key lime pie which were SIGNIFICANTLY smaller in size than what staff was servings dine in customers! We saw with our own eyes how big the slices were compared to the ones we noticed once we got home.. This is what also adds to our suspicion of not being served with good food. We really think we were given old foods, it wasn't fresh the meat was old and over cooked. ‍ extremely disappointed I ended up calling and explaining that we were given the wrong meat and salad and they were nice enough to offer us to come the next day and get a new " fresh" order of what was missing.. Buuut I don't think we're guna end up going, after I called them, I sat down to eat with my bf annnd then we noticed the meat wasn't even cooked right I was like wth??! Came on New Years Eve the young lady's are great and nice they were under alot of pressure we had to wait and it's very understandable.. we were seated and Isabella was out waitress she was great very easy to talk to very friendly and nice knows her job well and does it well .. she has great customer service good was great and service was great .. will come back I did notice a man in the suit I'm sure the manager he need to smile more .. overall everything was great read more

We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and noted it in the reservation. The food was great and the gauchos were friendly. However, the service felt off. We arrived on time for our 1:00 pm reservation, were seated, and got our plates around 1:10. The meat service was prompt, and we slowed down around 1:40. After that, the waitress began checking on us every 3-5 minutes, sometimes interrupting our conversation to ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything. It felt unusually frequent and a bit rushed, though we weren't sure if it was just her style. Around 2pm, the manager came over and asked similar questions, which made it clear they were trying to make us leave. We asked for the bill shortly after, paid and signed at 2:15. At that time, the restaurant was less than 10% full, yet we were effectively rushed out after about 30 minutes of eating. Our total seated time before we asked for the bill was less than 1 hour. They were not short-staffed either, as staff members were standing in groups watching soccer. read more

Our friends invited us here and it was me and hubby's first time here so we didn't know what to expect. Basically, you grab a plate and you get your own cold veggies (olives, pineapple slices, mushrooms, potato salad, garlic pieces, onions, salad) and warm sides (white rice, shrimp scampi and lobster bisque soup) Think salad bar. Then you sit and wait for the serves to come around with their gigantic meat skewer when they carve the meat off for you. Your server then brings you some warm cheese bread, mashed potatoes and plantains. Speaking of server, our server Jackie was fantastic. Jackie was the most attentive server I've had in a long time. She was lively and very courteous. She also had a great sense of humor! The seating was a little bit tight and it was a packed house on a Friday night. It was also very very cold so I would recommend bringing a jacket if you're having dinner there. The bathrooms were clean and the ambiance was very alive and loud. I found the model dessert tray kinda funny because people were trying to grab the dessert off of it, not knowing that they're just models for the waiter to bring around. So you can pick which dessert you want when you're done with all your meats and veggies. I can see how that can be misconstrued at your first time here. We made reservations at Texas de Brazil for my husband's birthday and it was a great time! I didn't get the names of our server or bartender, but they were fantastic! The food at Texas de Brazil is always a hit. We especially love the lamb, picanha, and flank steak. The salad bar is great, too. So many options and everything is fresh. I'd recommend coming for dinner because they serve a really good lobster bisque! We will be back for more Texas de Brazil! read more

Very similar to Fogo de Chaio, Brazilian style meat palace, but their salad bar was extensive with lots of veggies, cold shrimp, delicious lobster bisque and some warm potatoes au gratin that were delicious. Service was fabulous, checking with us regularly, asking what haven't we tried that we wanted. She alerted the kitchen and within minutes more requested meat entrees appeared table-side. My favorite and most tender & flavorful was the beef rib slices that literally cut with a fork and melted in my mouth! Very classy ambiance supporting families well during our late lunch celebratory meal for a child's birthday & early Father's Day celebration. Spicy entrees were pretty mild, not overwhelming at all, just a nice spice. Parmesan chicken was quite good, spicy pork was delicious. Young children ate free, our 9 yr old was half off. I love visiting my extended family in Rancho Cucamonga because it means I get to eat at Texas De Brazil. The service is amazing and so is the food! I enjoy all the fresh food at the salad bar. The meats are absolutely delicious. This is a definite favorite of ours. read more

The food was delicious, the appetizers were all a great combination with the meat. The bummer was based on where you're seated you can go a whole 45 min without being offered any meat. On top of that the manager Larson I believe that's his name will go to every table and ask if the food is okay but deliberately miss your table. Another group got seated a whole hour after us and had been serve meet five plus times. It was only fixed until we brought it up to our waiters attention. Our waiter was great. He checked on us and made sure to fix that as soon as possible too but much time had past for us to really enjoy our anniversary dinner.
