My family came here for an early Father's Day Lunch celebration for our dad. This location is right across from Famous Dave's and the parking lot is full of spaces. This location didn't have much of a wait time for us when we arrived around 2PM. This location was huge and had the World Cup games playing all around the restaurant. My family was sat in a booth and our waitress was very kind and personable. She was very patience taking all our orders. The orders all came out at different times and some of use had to wait excess time to get receive our dishes. Our waitress did her best checking in on us and making sure everyone was happy. Not the smoothest experience, but overall a good one. The appetizers were delicious and all our entrees were good. I tried the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich was huge and wasn't bad at all. I enjoyed it, the spiciness was hot at all for me. I appreciate the waitress and her ability to work hard given the delays in the back of the house. For Father's Day they were even giving out exclusive Father's Day glasses which was nice for my dad. Can't beat the $13 Pizookie deal here. Treated my siblings out to celebrate the end of the school year. Parking: This location is right across from the Ontario Mills. Finding an open spot can be difficult, especially during their rush. Ambiance/Environment: It was busier than usual since it was the World Cup season. They have plenty of indoor seating with some outdoor seating. I appreciate the amount of TVs, so we can enjoy the game at every angle. Service: We placed our names down with the host at the podium. They'll call you when the table becomes available. When we were called, we walked back up to the podium to be seated. It was awkward at first bc the host/hostess were chatting among themselves without acknowledging us. Our server Michael was courteous. He only checked on us once and refilled our waters once. Throughput also took longer after ordering since it was busy. Food & desserts: The pizookie deal comes with an entree and a small pizookie. We each ordered something different. My brother enjoyed his burger, and I also enjoyed the southern fried chicken. My sister thought her dish was okay bc the pasta was too dry for her. We stopped by on a weekday after an appointment to try the $13 mini Pizookie deal, and it did not disappoint! Even though the restaurant was pretty busy for a weeknight, we were seated right away. It was actually nice to see such a lively crowd. Our server came over quickly, and since we already knew what we wanted, ordering was easy. I went with the unlimited soup and salad, my husband ordered the personal barbecue chicken pizza, and our son got the pepperoni pizza kids meal. Everything was delicious--and the mini Pizookie at the end was the perfect treat. A couple of my items came out slightly out of order, but it really didn't matter since I had soup and salad anyway. I tried the broccoli cheese soup and chili along with a Caesar and house salad. The broccoli cheese soup was definitely my favorite--so good I could honestly go for another bowl right now. We came to this restaurant on Fathers Day, and what an experience. First of all I know we had a decent size party of 7, and the waiter/waitress (we started with a waiter, and then got handed off to a waitress) did their best, but the food was absolutely horrible. 2 people in our party got the prime rib, (as that was the reason we went there) one of the prime rib dinners was bad, the meat was definitely not edible. It took the waitress so long to check on us after we got our food, everyone else was done before we could say anything about the rotten meat, because not only was she serving our party of 7, but also had a couple other party's of way more, (it was 3 tables of 12) so she wasn't able to check on us as frequently as she should have. My fiancé ordered a margarita on the rocks, and was served a skinny rita, (maybe if the music wasn't so loud the waiter would have heard her order properly). I ordered the ribs and tri tip, and the ribs were ok, but the tri tip...all I got was basically a burnt end, the piece was so small idk how they can feel good about putting that on a plate. The rice tastes old, not fresh, how ever the sweet potato fries were good. It also took the waitress about 30 min to come and collect our cards to pay, it was to the point that we were ready to walk out, (most of our party walked out side, and it was only 2 of us sitting at the table for about 15 min before she finally came back), you would think they would be quick to turn the table so they could have served more rotten meat to people. I took my son's to dinner last night to celebrate one of them getting four A's. He originally chose lazy dog however the place was too crowded so we went next-door and dined here. It was before 5 PM when we went in the hostess told us it was a 15 to 20 minute wait and took down our phone number. So we went to go wait in the car and someone that was coming in after us was seated before us. Granted, maybe they had a reservation I have no idea. We walked all the way back to the car and only eight minutes later we were called back in. If they would've told us, it was a 10 minute wait we would've waited close by. Once we went in the hostess said we are going to sit you in the bar area in a booth about 3 tables down. I asked if I could have a booth not in the bar area since I had children with me and she said you will have to wait longer. There was a waitress taking an order at the second booth down and it was a very narrow walkway so I said well we will just wait until the waitress is finished taking the order to be seated. The gentleman hostess proceeded to storm off and set our menus down at the table while we stood at the hostess booth to be polite and not awkwardly walk through the already snug aisle, where the waitress was taking another patron's order. Once we sat down, that's when I noticed the two gals that were coming in before we walked to the car, which would've been after us were already seated with drinks. Granted they could of had a reservation but I highly doubt they did because when we were walking to our car, I mentioned to them it will be a 20 minute wait is what they told us and the gals said thank you. I'm sure they would've mentioned it's OK Hun we have a reservation. Our server's name was Chloe. She was pretty nice. The food was good my sons enjoyed their entrées as well as I. In the end, i want to notably mention that the hostess, which is our first point of interaction were both very rude. I actually plan to not return. My family and I (6 people) came in on Thursday night and got seated right away. Our seating area was relatively empty yet we waited 15 minutes I had to get up and let the host know we haven't been seen yet. Then shortly we get our server. He never introduced himself so I never got his name. As a previous restaurant manager/server I could tell he kind of lacked sense of urgency. BJs is always a good idea - no pun intended. I think they have the best happy hour/Lunch menu and their customer service is always on point. Typical restaurant setting. I think all BJs interior looks the same anywhere you go. I went to try the new pizza and I surprising don't like the crust on this one - it taste old . Dined here while traveling, but I'm familiar with the BJ's brand. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad considering it was a Friday night at 6pm. We wanted to sit outside but they didn't have a patio server until 10, which I think was a miss on their part. Food was fine, nothing remarkable. I got the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. The coleslaw was okay, but I'm picky about that specific side dish. My dining partner had a mini pizza and salad. Our server Angie was great though. She was friendly and thorough and talked to us like humans and not like we were just customers (we've all had that kind of experience). We came here for an early dinner on a Sunday and we were able to put ourselves down for the waitlist! We did not have to wait long at all. They also accommodated us because we had a stroller. Our waiter was attentive and kind. For appetizer, we got the spinach artichoke dip and the garlic shrimp and both tasted delicious! I ordered the poke nachos and they were delicious! I also ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it was a little bland for my taste. I also got a salad and it tasted very fresh. It was very busy but our food did not take long to come out. We came here Valentine's Day to celebrate our February birthdays in the family. We asked to be seated outside. Although there were plenty of seats available, they first cleared off the tables directly in the sun with no shade. So we had to ask to move to the shady side which they did with no issues :) Our waitress was very friendly and took our orders right away. Food came out in a timely manner and everyone enjoyed what they got. I do wish they had more options for those of us on a low sodium diet. I would actually encourage anyone to look up the nutritional values, cause OMG. I did get a free pozookie for my bday which was nice. The food was good and I mean you get what you pay for, it was all about $58 ($13 Pizookie Meal Deal x2, $22 Brewhouse Bites Sampler, $5 Pizookie). She even made sure the ice cream was in a separate bag from the hot foods. Not much to point out about the meal deals, stomachs were satisfied. The Brewhouse Sampler was good it came with 5wings of your choice, Mozzarella sticks, 2 sliders, and Nachos and that was enough to feed the two of us. The dip for the nachos could've been better and the mozzarella sticks could've melted more?? biting into it there was no gooey cheesy that is associated with mozzarella sticks it was just like solid cheese. This is a Pizza Brewery so I guess if you come here to get what they specialize in...pizza and beer. Anything else is a gamble. They usually get the salmon right, but the rice that comes with it is usually hard and undercooked and the broccoli is still cold and frozen. Tonight I tried the tritip and shrimp scampi. The tritip was cold and to medium rare when I asked for medium well. The shrimp was hard and rubbery. It took forever to get silverware even AFTER we got our food. They service here is good I guess. The bathrooms are always dirty and overflowing trash can and no soap. There are other places to go. Go elsewhere. read more

My Wife and I have rediscovered BJ's for the Happy Hour for some Date Nights. We have been here 3 nights in the last week and a half. First night we sat at a table and was served by Jacob. He provided great service on a night that was very busy. Great attitude, great service and good food made for a great night. The following week we were able to have a seat at the bar, our favorite spots. We were net with probably the best team of bartenders. Colby and Don were excellent. The tag team service left us never feeling neglected in a busy, non-stop environment. The addition of Vanessa made it even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning for more good times. read more

I have gone to this restaurant 3 or 4 times now, one of them times I ordered the spaghetti dish and it came overloaded with sauce and was cold, couldn't even enjoy my meal. Another time I had a small pizza and there was no cheese it was all sauce and undercooked pepperoni. The most recent time I ordered the pizza again in the shareable size and was given a side of Parmesan cheese. It smelled horrible so I opened it and there was specks of mold in it. All times I talked to the managers and meals were comped. Overall okay service, extreme wait times and food is not great. I hope the staff will do better cleaning of the shakers. The pizza had this real thick crust, very hollow and it had a crunch to it. The pizza overall wasn't too bad, decent ingredients. The wings were not that saucy and a little rough to the taste. They had a mediocre taste to them honestly. The pizookie though was good stuff, the ice cream with the warm brownie and that cookies and cream flavor, all blended real well. Last week, I finally returned to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Rancho Cucamonga after ages! It was a rainy day, and I was craving their Dubai Chocolate Pizookie, which is currently available for Dine-In and a Limited-Time Only. The Dubai Chocolate Pizookie is simply out of the world! It was a warm, freshly baked chocolate cookie filled with chunks of Ghirardelli® chocolate, topped with two creamy scoops of rich vanilla bean ice cream, a crackable chocolate shell, silky pistachio sauce, and a sprinkle of golden toasted kataifi. The price was also quite reasonable ($11.84 including tax). It was incredibly good, and I really enjoyed even every tiny bite of it! The ambiance of BJ's Restaurant is family-friendly and festive. Had a quick, early dinner and after hearing that Bjs had no wait time, I made my way over relatively quickly. After being seated, I noticed that the restaurant was still relatively full and a bit loud but I was much more focused on their daily special menu to notice any longer than a moment or so. After getting our order, the food arrived within 25 minutes of ordering. First, my drink came out which was not too bad and gave me a bit of energy because of the redbull. Then, the Brussel sprouts came out, they were not as crispy as I would have liked but the sauce definitely helped their case. Finally, my main course of ribs and fries came out and man, that was quite the portion. They came out nice and saucy as well as being pretty tender (not fall off the bone type but close). For dessert, I wanted to try their monkey bread pizookie which also wasn't too bad, very reminiscent of Cinnabon. Overall, good food and a very nice way to end the work day. I understand if you are understaffed, but the host has a really bad customer service. Putting her feet on top of the table while taking customer name and phone number, busy chit chatting with the other co workers while there's a bunch of people waiting. Not even a simple greet and smile when customer walk in. Estimated wait time was 30-40minutes and we decided to wait. After 35 minutes, i asked how much longer do you think and she said another 20 minutes and she can't do anything about it. She offered to sit at the bar area if we want to be sat right away.
