We ordered a prime rib dinner medium rare. The prime rib was cold. They took it back and brought a new one which was well done. I had to ask for the salad, which came with the meal because our server didn't realize it did. We also never received the cornbread which came with the meal. Terrible service. Y'all - yum! We found this place because we were looking for dessert but we ended up with way more than that. We were greeted and seated right away. Hostess, waitstaff, and everyone we interacted with was so helpful and friendly. Food is delicious and the portions are Texas-size. Restaurant is clean, spacious, and smells great. They were short staffed. No one greeted you when you came in!! i had classic eggs Benedict, the egg & hollandaise sauce was over cooked. I asked for extra crispy hashbrowns and they were burnt. The cook also added a ton of parsley to cover up the burnt hollandaise sauce. I have breakfast every Thursday morning as part of my weekly routine for business. I started coming to Black Bear Diner & I'm not disappointed at all! Great food & the customer service is top notch. Brittany T. was my server today & she is excellent. I was her first customer of the day & she greeted me with a smile & fresh cup of hot coffee. She is very professional & kind. She checked on me often & made sure my coffee cup was never empty. The food portions were large & the price is very reasonable. Black Bear Diner is now part of my weekly routine. I give this location 5 stars because the food & service is fantastic & the atmosphere is very clean. I truly recommend to anyone to give this place a try! My brunch group of ladies went there last month. Everyone of the six ladies enjoyed their meal very much. The portions are huge and we all took home leftovers.
