I sadly didn't catch his name but he was brunette with a goatee. I was meeting a friend here and was 1. Running significantly late which is my worst nightmare and 2. Running late due to a difficult conversation that left me weepy and unable to hold back my tears. Our server read the room right away, gave my friend and I some space for me to collect myself, and then continued to be the most gracious individual throughout our entire meal. When he came by for our drink order, I ordered a Diet Coke and he brought us each two, which made our days. We each got the avocado toast which came with eggs, and it was lovely. service!?!?! is that what you're supposed to call it?? well. ... not !!…read more i stood there right up front, not busy at all!! in fact it was 9:15 pm when i walked in. not one staff to be seen at first! then a couple girls came around zooming by as if they were so busy that they couldn't even acknowledge that i was standing there. didn't bother greeting me, or even at least say welcome and we'll be right with you!! so far not so good!! finally i had to get even closer to the counter. finely one girl finally said. 'have you been helped?" i told her no i haven't, she said hang on and walked away!! after a couple of minutes another customers came in . she all the sudden wasn't so busy! or possibly i might have been completely see through !! invisible...by chance!! after finely seating me she quickly showed the man that came in about 7-10 minutes after me to a seat right by me. she didn't even walk away and immediately asked him if he already knew what he wanted. he said no not yet. she asked him if she could get him something to drink. as i was still invisible!! she quickly walked right past me!! not even asking me if she could get me a drink, or even ask me if i knew what i wanted??!!?! i knew exactly what i wanted already!! i just got through reading the menu and signing up my email and phone number!! i did this in the parking lot in my car right before i went inside. the floor was disgusting!! when that same girl brought him his drink she again walked right past me!! my menu was still closed!!! obviously most waitresss should already know that when the customers menu is closed and they are just sitting there.. looking all around the place, that means the customer has decided what they want and they are ready to order!! Great service right from the start. Ordered bougie biscuits…read moreto start. Three light and airy biscuits with three different spreads arrived quickly. They all were so good that we couldn't agree on a favorite. Breakfast burrito and ube pancakes for mains. The burrito was STUFFED with delicious chorizo, cheese, egg, and veggies. Wrapped in a super large tortilla then grilled for crispy exterior. Served with a fantastic salsa with hints chipotle heat. Great flavor but not so much that it buries the flavor. The ube pancakes were also incredible. Four large, lightly crisped cakes topped with ube whipped cream, blueberries, blueberry syrup drizzle, and a mint sprig. First bite was so good that I didn't talk for at least five minutes, so I could shovel in more and more. They came with a side of syrup, but it was definitely not needed. I'll certainly be back to try more menu items, but it'll be hard to resist temptation of the burrito. If you've eaten here before, it's probably time to go back - if you've never been here, it's time to go... now!

The Restaurant: Great atmosphere, Fun artwork, best of all, VERY Clean, nothing sticky or no grease buildup on any surface. The glass ware on the wall behind the bar as all polished. In the bar area they stack their silver, tableware, condiments etc. in a cute little cozy box on the table, with the main dining area setup as a diner with the traditional paper napkin and silverware. For a diner motif to have shined silver and glassware is a nice touch! Summary: Eat here! The prices are reasonable, the food is excellent, when I looked at the menu online I was a little put off by no actual entrée's on the dinner menu, however the in house experience made up for that, it's a pub food vibe and they are doing it well!
