Chicken Avocado BLT with Parmesan chips
    Jennifer L.

PSA: Only members of Grape Creek Vineyard are allowed on the patio and eat at the restaurant! They do turn people away if not a member. They do have it clearly posted, but it's good to know before you arrive. We have been a couple of times for lunch. We have only sat outside because the view is gorgeous. You have 2 servers during the meal: 1 for wine and 1 for food. All of the staff is very nice and knowledgeable. The wait for the food can seem long at times. We split the Mediterranean salad and the Chicken Avocado BLT with Parmesan chips. The portions were a nice size for us to split. The salad was delicious and crisp. The BLT was good, but nothing special. The food does seem on the pricier size, but it is at a winery so I guess it's kinda expected. If you are looking for a good meal with a nice view, this is a nice spot!

Loved visiting Stout's Pizzería. Yes, you do have to be a member but it's really worth it to have an option that makes Fredericksburg a one stop shop. The ambiance was nice and the servers were friendly. The pizzas are both so delicious and the cheese plate was a great size and value for our group. We came for a bachelorette party of 6 and didn't know we had to make a reservation for the restaurant but they were so nice and accommodating of our group. We ended up drinking the wine we purchased inside but they also offer flights of the other wines. oversll, when I come back to to grape creek will definitely pop in for a bite!

We enjoy visiting this restaurant when in the Fredericksburg area. Weather was nice so sat on the patio. Food and service was excellent!!

We had a lovely lunch experience here while visiting several wineries in Fredericksburg. It wasn't too hard to get a reservation and we've been members at Grape Creek for a while. Beautiful scenery, great wine, and the food was all very good. We really enjoyed the French dip sandwich and always love a glass (or bottle) of Grande Rouge. Will definitely visit again next time we're in Fredericksburg.

Definitely recommend Stout's! Perfect meal after some wine tastings. The restaurant is on the property of Grape Creek so their wine club members get a discount here. My husband and I became Heath wine club members a few months back and loved our meal at Stout's so we came back and brought friends. The pizzas are very good. I don't usually eat the crusts, but I do here. I also love their Caesar and the spinach artichoke dip. The meal was a hit with our friends as well. We didn't have any problem getting in for lunch on a Saturday, but I believe seating is reserved for members. It would be worth calling to check if you don't have a reservation. Another tip: You will have a food server and a separate wine server. There will be a separate bill for food and wine. On our first visit we started leaving after paying for the meal, not realizing the wine was not on that bill.

Stouts at Grape Creek Vineyard is consistently delicious! The staff is always fantastic! I really miss the Daisy's chicken sandwich on a croissant, it was the best. The salads are always fresh, large, and loaded with ingredients. The Mediterranean with romaine lettuce is my favorite. The pizzas are the best around the area.

Call me weird but the food here is so delicious and so worth being a wine club member at Grape Creek. We've been to Stout's 3 times now at different time frames and they do not disappoint on service or quality of food. It's always a plus to be able to pair your wine with food but it's boujee to have the food not be typical bar food. You literally could not go wrong with anything on the menu. It really comes down to how hungry you are. The meatballs are TO DIE FOR they never stay on the table long enough to get a picture but I wish it could rain these meatballs because you can never get tired of them. I'm a sucker for chicken and waffles and their is the perfect balance of chicken to waffle to syrup. Not too crunchy. Definitely not soggy. Their pizzas are very tasty, I just wish the buttons could get a little crisper bc they sag a little bit and you have to rave from the plan to your mouth. It's a fun little grand but can get messy real quick.

Came here with a friend who's a member of the winery and the food and the service was great. I had the chicken Alfredo pizza and it was delicious. We also came back later for dinner and the food was superb. I had the grilled pork chop with broccolini and Mac and cheese. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

So, after touring the Grape Creek Winery, what should you do? Darn right. Get a pizza from Stout's. The Rendezvous (specially created to pair with the wines of the same name) and Stout special are utterly amazing. Also, the kitchen will bifurcate your pie to half on and half another, just be prepared for the additional cost. By the time we did this and added gluten free curst for the wife, the pie was almost $40. This would be the only smudge on the visit. Paired with a glass of Rendezvous and Mosaic, we gnoshed on emphatically on the pie to fill our bellies for the day's oncoming wine onslaught...OK it wasn't that bad...but it sure as hell was fun and this was a great start to the day. The GM Ivan is a cool dude. We have seen him several times around town, playing music, and at the restaurant. He recognized us after a second and provided a personal touch to the visit. Our waitress Gina was amazing. She was attentive and supplied us with everything needed and was the one that recommended the bifurcated pizza. The somm, Shauni saw what we ordered and instantly made the wine recommendations. Basically, all the wife and I had to do was show up and let the staff take care of us in their more than capable hands. Again, the ground used to be dog friendly, but I believe that during the 'Rona, they have suspended allowing 4-legged friends on site. You should call ahead if you plan to bring your fur baby as of Dec 2020. Aside from the steep-ish price of the pie, this place is HIGHLY recommended whilst you are on site. Not eating at the winery's restaurant is like buying a Lamborghini and refusing to floor it at least once to see its full potential...it makes no sense. Awesome food? Check. Great wine? Check. Amazing staff? Check. Rock solid 4 stars.

Again my first go to when I come to Grape Creek. The food and service is to notch. I always take a slice of pizza with me before the wine tour.

I gave Stout's Signature another try and feel like I owe them a follow up review. We went for brunch and my husband ordered a pizza and I ordered a brunch special, the eggs Benedict with pulled pork. The pizza was well cooked, not too greasy with a light perfectly cooked crust. The pulled pork Benedict was so good. Perfectly toasted English muffin and poached eggs with tender slow cooked pulled pork and a green tomatillo sauce with just enough spice to give it all a perfect flavor! Service was great, wine was wonderful and they are making me want to come back and try the bread pudding French toast.... I'm praying it's on the menu when I return!

Beautiful winery and a must visit when you're in Fredericksburg! I visited Stout's Trattoria last weekend for lunch and to purchase a few bottles of wine to take back to Houston. To eat lunch here on weekends you must be a member, but luckily membership is FREE! Their food menu doesn't have a lot to choose from and I'm not sure if that's normal or due to COVID, but nevertheless food was good and it was a great experience! Note: their avocado toast comes with runny yolk so if you don't like runny eggs (like myself) make sure to let them know ahead of time!

Sunday funday kicked off with Brunch with my girls at Stout's. It's our funday tradition to start off with lite bites before we begin our wine tastings. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They made recommendations and checked on us often. Now for the food. The deviled eggs were amazing and . The pizza never disappoints. They pack a lot of favor in every bite. If you're ever at Grape Creek Vineyard, I strongly recommend you checking out the bites at Stout's.

I went with the chicken crust and Canadian bacon personal pizza and it was delicious! It could've been warmer, but I loved the flavor. I also tried the lasagna and sadly the sauce was too runny and almost watered down. If they could get the sauce thicker, this dish could be really amazing. Last of all, our server was very friendly. But we were forgotten as soon as a big table walked in. In general, it just wasn't busy enough between basically three tables occupied in the whole place to be that slow to check back. I have done this industry and you have to pick up the pace a bit to really get those high dollar tips and return customers. I may give them another shot one day and update if anything changes. What a great vibe, and I hope they can get the rest on track for success.

Shortly after arriving, I went to the restroom and encountered a member of the kitchen staff coming out while still wearing his apron. After using the restroom myself, I went to wash my hands and discovered that both soap dispensers were completely empty. Obviously, I can't say what the employee did before leaving the restroom because I wasn't inside with him, but there was no soap available from either dispenser when I attempted to wash my own hands immediately afterward. Seeing a kitchen employee leave that restroom and then discovering there was no soap available was enough for us to lose confidence in eating there. We had intended to stay for food, but instead we paid for the Prosecco my wife had already ordered and left. Hopefully this was simply an oversight and management addresses it, because something as basic as having soap available in a restaurant restroom--particularly one being used by food-service employees--is important. Unfortunately, based on what we observed, we weren't comfortable staying for a meal.

Vibe is euro-bistro and the staff is perfectly attentive. Prices are high, but honestly aligned to the quality of the food, at least the dishes we had were worth the prices. Food: Buttermilk Fried Chicken, with Onion/Bacon flash fried collard greens, whipped potatoes and house gravy and Jalapeno Cornbread for $32 Reuben on Marble Rye for $24 16oz Stella Artois for $10 We agreed that the fried chicken (5/5) was the best we could remember having. Whipped potatoes (5/5) were light, fluffy and perfect taste/texture. The gravy was like brown butter (5/5). The collard greens (5/5) were flash fried and if you've never had them like this, it's like eating collard green potato chips. Cornbread (3/4) was a bit too delicate and sweet for our taste. You couldn't pick it up without it falling apart. The Ruben (3/5). My wife loves a good Ruben sandwich. This one had the makings of a good one, but they use a Thousand Island sauce (too much of it) on the sandwich, and it hides the flavor of the meat. Next time we would ask for the sandwich without the TI sauce, see if that improves the rating. The sandwich came with house made potato chips (5/5), a small house salad with vinaigrette (5/5) and a large, pickled cucumber. I know, that's a pickle, but these are cucumbers that have gone maybe a third of the way through the process, so the cucumber taste is really prevalent. Lastly, we had the Creme Brulé (3/5) for dessert. It was nice, but the custard was coffee and caramel flavored, and we prefer the standard custard look and flavor. The caramel should come from the top layer, not the custard. The top layer was a bit too thick as well. We liked it, just didn't love it. Overall, quality food, service and vibe with prices that are aligned to more special occasions than everyday eating out. We'll be back to try the Monday Crawfish Etoufee and the Tuesday Duck Confit daily specials...look too good to pass up.

You couldn't see a spot in there that didn't have a case of wine; but that's a good thing. They had more wine to offer than just about any restaurant in town, including the "high-end" restaurants. Sorry, I didn't take a picture of the pizza. It was really beautiful.
