Cute little coffee shop that's good for grab-and-gos or a short stay. They do offer WiFi, though it's time-limited I believe.. Service was efficient, but the guy behind the counter wasn't too friendly. Parking can also be a bit of a challenge with the on-site lot being pretty tight, so street parking may be your best bet. There's a mix of couches, chairs, and tables inside, plus a small patio if the weather's nice. I stopped by with a friend on a cold Sunday morning in December, and the indoor seating was pretty full with a mix of people working and casual conversations. There's only one barista, but things still moved along pretty quickly The interior has an eclectic, artsy vibe with some interesting vintage decor.. it almost feels like hanging out in a hipster record store. I liked that they offer dairy-free milk options and I tried their golden latte. It had a strong turmeric flavor, but it wasn't bad. Overall, a solid coffee stop if you're in the area, especially good for small groups or one-on-ones.

Coffee is great. Nice seating area inside, does have outside seating as well. Definitely will be back!

Literally situated in a residential neighborhood, so parking took a bit but a really solid coffee spot with a great selection and warm vibes. My kid was at camp at nearby St. Thomas University, so I went to days in a row. First time, I saw a space for Coconut Tres Leches, but they were out. Second time, also out...until 30 minutes into our visit, they brought some out. Really good (and this was after a very satisfying piece of coffee cake). Worth visiting if you're around.

Got the toffee nut latte with oat milk and warm. Enjoyed it, it was sweet but not overly sweet and had a unique flavor profile. Lots of syrup options to customize your lattes + bakery items. A decent amount of seating as well and the ambiance is super cool.

Black Hole is yet another shop we had to try on a late Saturday morning. My partner and I stopped in around 11am. We parked on the side street because the lot was full, however there seem to be plenty of free spots on street should that happen when you arrive. At that time of day, there were a few open couches and chairs but the patio was occupied and there was a steady stream of folks coming in to order and take out. The interior is an eclectic vibe of mix and match vintage furniture, pop art, colorful framed posters and images, and lots of sunlight. Overall, the decor gave us a comforting feeling without any pretentiousness. There is a large menu board that clearly displays all of their options including a large collection of syrups like pistachio, lavender, and macadamia. Note there was a sign on the register that said they are cashless. We tried a chai latte and the golden latte respectively and both earned high marks fro me. The chai latte had a strong chai flavor, a nice balance of sweetness, and didn't taste artificial. I also enjoyed the contrast the golden latte provided with its pronounced turmeric flavor and earthy richness. Two things that lead me to rate them a 4 instead of a 5 were (1) the service wasn't spectacular and (2) they have kind of an odd Wi-Fi setup where you only get access for 1hr based on your individual receipt. It seems like a popular spot for meeting friends or working, so I can't fault them too much. But at the same time, I haven't seen this at other shops in the area. Additionally, I've personally felt more welcome when ordering and enjoying my drink at other coffee spots. My recommendation would be to grab and go if you live nearby or are visiting the area. You can enjoy these lattes and other drinks without worrying about the time limit or possible cold service.

Stumbled upon this spot while in the area and needed some coffee. Smaller with a good balance of lounge seating with some outdoor seating. Wall art and bright walls completed the vibe. They do offer desserts, pastries and some light breakfast items and sandwiches. A Taco truck is available around lunch hours during the week. Happy Hour (3-7) for coffee, beer and wine is a nice touch. My Oat Milk Cappucino was strong and tasty. Service was quick and engaged. solid coffee in a relaxed atmosphere.

Very good Cubano and excellent Golden Latte, (think turmeric and ginger). Very eclectic inside, but could use some upkeep. Grumpy staff while ordering. Maybe he needs some good coffee.

Good coffee and great cookies. Service was great. Great little neighborhood place to get coffee.

Overrated expensive and poor service . Stood in line with just one person ahead of me and the barista kept chattering with thus customer about her gf without any consideration . Ordered flat while barely a 4 oz drink got 4.5$ and while she swooshed the tablet in front of me she said tap and tip! Lol. Ambience by itself is nice , big place but really overrated

It's a nice lowkey neighborhood spot with a bar and outdoor seating as well. The ambiance was chill and casual which I am all for. They are pet friendly as I got to see some fur babies come in which is always nice. We started with some glasses of Cabernet and told our waiter we were celebrating my birthday. The food didn't take long to come out and was so darn good. It was probably one of the best steak nights I've had in a while. We had the ribeyes, mash potato, mac and cheese, green beans, and French fries. The steak was seasoned perfectly and grilled to the perfect temperature to my liking. We are still talking about it, I can't wait to come back and try their chimichurri sauce. We ended with the strawberry and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheese cake. They weren't too sweet and just the right amount of richness. If they aren't on your list for steak night I definitely recommend!

Well, I have a little story I'd like to share. One day, I was searching for liquor stores downtown…read moreother than Specs, looking for a specific brand of liquor. Since I work downtown, several upscale liquor stores appeared on my Apple Maps. I called to inquire. The person who answered was patient and provided excellent customer service. Over the phone, he put me on hold, then came back and said, "Yes, ma'am, we do have it, but only one left. Don't worry, we close at nine. I'll hold it for you," and I appreciated his kindness. I told him I was on my way. When I arrived, he had the bottle ready for me, and I thanked him. I also asked how long the store had been there; he mentioned about five years. I realized I had driven past that place countless times without noticing it--it's kind of tucked away on the corner. We started chatting, and I was delighted to find out he was the owner. That moment meant a lot to me--not just because the store is close to my job, but because it's a Black-owned business, which truly touched my heart. I couldn't help but smile from ear to ear when he shared that. I vowed that from then on, this would be my go-to liquor store. There are three employees there, and they are the most welcoming, pleasant people I've ever met. Over the past few months, they've gotten to know me, and every visit is always a warm experience. Yesterday, I went in to get my usual, and I was greeted with friendly smiles and genuine warmth--"Hey, how's it going? How are things? Just getting off work? Good to see you." I had requested a bottle of Chardonnay, but one of the staff members accidentally ordered Moscato instead. It was no big deal, and he apologized, saying he'd get the correct one for me. Then, unexpectedly, he said, "Do me a favor--take this bottle of Chardonnay and try it. Tell me what you think." He didn't have to do that; I truly believe he did it because that's just who he is, not just because I'm a regular customer. I was about to decline, but he insisted, so I accepted. Just then, a woman from the back, smiling warmly, introduced herself as one of the owners. I'd never seen her before, but she explained she was listening and wanted to come say hello, expressing her appreciation for my support. It warmed my heart in a way words can't fully express. Moments like that remind me that showing kindness and respect doesn't cost anything. It's just about being human and compassionate. As long as Price Liquors is open, they will always have my support. Thank you, Posh.

If their tank is nearly empty, you won't be able to get a reasonable CO2 refill. They say "only refill by pressure", not by the weight of CO2 going into your tank. I have a 5lb tank and wanted a 5lb refill. They could only provide a 1lb refill (equalizing the pressure between their nearly empty tank and my tank) which is dishonestly inequitable for the fee. They won't tell you their available capacity up front, even though I specifically asked for 5lbs. I had to came back with a scale to show them they only provided one lb. Initially they offered a 50% refund. I told them, I only received one lb. which isn't even half. So, they purged the tank (into the air) of the one lb they did provide and refunded the entire amount to me, returning my tank empty. The moral to the story is don't get a refill from these guys. Go to a supplier that will pump the CO2 into your tank - not through recharging by pressure equalization.

Thanks for making me waste my time frantically canceling the order through Uber Apps support. I definitely won't try placing an order from here again, and I strongly advise everyone to be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS of the "suggested replacement" items if you place an order and, after accepting the order, you get a notification they're out of everything or almost everything you ordered. If this happens to you, go straight to Uber Eats help and tell them to cancel the order because the merchant is out of all or most of your items. They will cancel it for you.
