This brewery was a wonderful find. In the busy bustle of Temecula were everything seems crowded we were able to order and find a table right away. The pizza wa really good as we're the wings and pretzels. The beer was good but I'm not really a beer person. My husband is and he really enjoyed it. The service was amazing. Pretty good beers, some more so than others. Really liked deception (toasted coconut with lime ale), Xxplosive (their double IPA), and their Quadrophenia (Belgium quad). We did two beer flights which were about $6 for 5 tasters, which is not a bad price for a flight. The place itself is fairly small, has a bar, a few community style tables, and an area to play corn hole. The menu is bar style food with some daily happy hour specials. We didn't try any of the food, but it was nice to have a few food options available. We normally go to Ballast or Garage Brewery since they're closer to our house, but we'll be back if in the area. read more

I came here twice on Tuesday because they have 2 dollar beers that are under 8% and 1 dollar pizza from 7-9pm I believe. I am from San Diego and go out in the beer scene pretty often but I would say the beer here are very mediocre. I haven't really found a beer that was that special here and would not come here for their beer at full price. It's pretty crowded here especially on Tuesdays because of their deal. It seems like more of the college student age people come here for the cheap beer to come hang out. Because of that, seating is pretty difficult to come by which can be a little annoying especially if you're trying to eat their pizza. On a side note, I would have to say their pizza is fantastic. Like I said before, they have a special where the pepperoni or cheese pizzas is 1 dollar per slice from 7-9pm on Tuesday. The slices are pretty big too because about 8 slices would equal to a whole pizza. It's pretty cool because they have the place where they sell pizza in a storage container with cut out windows so it really goes with the black market theme. I think their pizza is so great is because they are so generous with their topping. Some places usually don't add enough tomato sauce or pepperoni but this place put a good amount of on it. Both times I came here, the pizza came piping hot so be careful not to burn your mouth because it was so delicious! If I could split my review, I would rate their beer a 2 star and their pizza a 5 star because of their value. read more

Hubby and I went to Black Market Brewing Co. today for Oktoberfest. Good food, Pretzel was amazing, Pizza is good but a little pricey. Manager Jared was cool cat. They have lots of beers on tap. and lots of TV's. Make sure to bring your credit/debit cards as they don't take cash. Overall, it was a great experience. read more

Good ambiance and the drinks were good, BUT, we waited OVER an hour for 1 pizza and 1 kid pizza. It's a kid friendly place, but we got there at 12:30pm and didn't eat until 1:45pm with our 2 toddlers. For those that have kids, you know that wait is crazy. We were full meltdown, hungry, and near nap time. When we asked about it (1 hour in), they said the ticket was lost. From there, it took them 10 min to get our food out. Lesson learned--ask if they lost our order earlier. read more

I was in the area for the weekend and decided to stop by Black Market Brewery. I've been on the search for their Neapolitan IPA, but I could never find it. I decided to try to brewery but sadly they told me it's seasonal and they haven't had it yet, but will hopefully have it again soon for summer. I got a flight of 4, and everything was really good. I was pleasantly surprised because some places have beer, but it doesn't mean everything tastes good. 1. Hefeweizen 2. Ginza 3. Do it for the cookies 4. Shakedown I believe Barrett was helping us, and he recommended the Great White Buffalo and gave us a sample and it was delicious as well. We ended up buying a 6 pack thanks fo his recommendation. The pizza here smelled really good as well, but we had dinner plans so we didn't eat any. I would definitely suggest stopping by if you're in the area. The brewery is spacious with plenty of seating, and the beers taste amazing. read more

Got here late at night on a tuesday. Great atmosphere they have a good amount of food choices. Lots of seating and bartender was great. Beer choices were great lots to choose from and its kid friendly which we loved. read more

Giving 1 star due to 3 bad service experiences. Our first time there we walked In excited and told one of the workers at the bar that we had never been there before. She was like great here's a menu and then walked away. We didn't know if we were supposed to wait to be seated, seat ourselves, order at the bar... no help or instruction. So we went and sat at a table, I noticed no one was coming to help us so had to really go out of my way to grab someone cleaning a table to ask how we order. (Start a tab at the bar, okay great.) Had to ask how or where I get my pizza after it's ordered. We ordered 2 beer flights, the beers weren't cold at all, AND the description I ordered did not match the number on the menu. We couldn't find plates or silverware so had to eat on table napkins. Asked for a Togo box and they forgot about me right after I asked. Only positive was the pizza was good. (That was our first experience.) My second time I went to call in and it says to press 3 to order, then it says error not valid, tried twice, click 3, error not valid. So I had to order on Grubhub which takes twice as long. When my dad went to pick up they couldn't find my order and then when they found the Grubhub they couldn't see if it was paid. So my dad almost double paid for the pizza because he didn't know any better. I guess finally a manager came out and told her to give my dad the pizza. It was cold. My THIRD bad experience, I go to call in the order via the number 2 option "tap house" instead of 3 to order... I get a hold of a human and she tells me her manager just told her she can't take any more phone orders for pickup. (Not even that will be an hour wait or whatever, just I can't take your order.) So now I'm being denied service. I'm at work, I don't have time to drive over & wait 25 min for my order to be made. It's just ran a mess over there. So much potential because the pizza is really good, but the service is absolutely horrid. read more

My husband and I love this place. Went for the second time yesterday. We picked the beer, let the beer tender help with pizza selection. She didn't disappoint us with her recommendation. We brought our own dice to play and backgammon. Our young server said her and her mom play it all the time and it warmed my heart. It's a game that is tradition at our home for several generations. *Overall 3.5 Stars* There is no getting around it, alcohol is the cash crop in the Temecula Valley. The area use to be a wine destination, but as the craft beer movement continues once small time breweries such as Black Market are changing the beverage landscape. In a period of about 3 years this off the beaten path establishment has carved out a niche in over saturated marketplace. Their IPA, Stouts, and Porters can be found at major retailers across Southern California. However their rotating offerings tend to be very hit or miss. I stopped in after work with a co-worker. We had a couple rounds and were not overly impressed with the offerings. The brown beer and specialty lagers were bitter and tasted off. They serve food yet the pizza kitchen was closed. On the bright side the open style seating and floor plan is good for large groups. The long bar wraps around, if the line is long go around the corner and order there. read more

Had my first UYE yesterday and it was awesome!!!! Thanks to Katie, Jana, Amanda & Jason, Kevin, Renee, the flag, and Andrew (owner) for making this a great inaugural event. Andrew led us on a tour of the facility. Gave us a brief history of the company and his plans for expansion. Unfortunately, the expansion does not include bottling. We were able to try the Dunkelweizen (Stellar!!!) aside from the standards. I'm sure I'll be holding another event here in the future, probably after the expansion. PS - comfortable seating cannot be supplied by the vendor because it would end in him receiving a fine from the ABC. Tasting rooms, wine or beer, are prohibited from having seating in the bar area. This is why you won't find seats at wine tasting rooms either. But there's no rule against bringing your own seat... read more

Do not fall for their membership program! They claim that you will have $5 fill ups daily but in reality they are constantly out of the most popular beers and it forces you to settle for a beer your don't even want. The beer tenders will tell you that after subscribing to the membership you will be able to come in and get a fill up of any beer on the board... that's just not true. Only the $6 and under beers. Also they have a rotating door of beer tenders, most of them don't even last 6 months there. Bad management! It's sad because this was the first brewery to arrive in town and it's very clear that there is no heart or sense of community here. Just there for the money. You can tell a lot about a business by the amount and unhappy reviews, and this page is full of them. Get that management up! read more

Not mad at this place; skeptical as I was to pull into a business park for drinks, this place was pretty nice. Lots of space to hang out, bar games (giant Jenga, cornhole), nice selection of beers. Tried their sours (cherry and blackberry) and was stoked to find their house glass is a proper half liter. Black Market was our 3rd or 4th stop in a 6 brewery hop. We did the tour on our own, no buses or tour guides, no schedules or timelines. We ordered a flight, OF EVERY BEER ON DRAFT. Normally, that wouldn't warrant all caps, but Black Market had over 15 beers on tap. They had a wide selection from IPAs to sours. All the beers were distinct and some were great. Sadly, being the 3rd or 4th stop, I can't remember all of them. With 15 beers to try, and time on our side, we had plenty of time to play giant jenga and cornhole. It was a fun place to hang out, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I remember there being a food truck outside, I didn't get a chance to try it, but nice to know they've got options outside. I don't know if I'll return to the area, but if I ever do, Black Market will surely be on my list of places to stop. read more

We stopped in to check out the beer that won at GABF this year, but they were out. We did a couple of flights so we could try a little of everything. They had quite a bit of haze beers on tap, which is fine, I guess. They weren't bad, but they weren't great either. My favorite was the cucumber sour. They line the rim of the glass with Tajin, which tastes like summer in a glass. The Berry Platypus was a sleeper because it was a sour IPA, but it kinda had a berry flavor to it. The service was good and the garlic knots were bomb. I appreciated that they have a full kitchen. read more

Beer is good and so is the pizza however, for being a Brewery, the beer prices are not brewery prices. You can get their beer at a few other bars for cheaper. You'd think that buying beer direct from the teat would be cheaper, much like every other brewery, but not the case here. Also the Pizza prices have gone up to where it is well over $20 for a medium sized pizza. They used to have specials for pizza and beer but that has since gone and so has my business. Many other choices for great craft beers at better prices. Not to mention, other places have air conditioning. This place. Does not. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this brewery. Wanted pizza and drinks and this was the backup option after first choice fell through. Pizza was a lot better than I expected. Good selection of craft drafts. The amount of free bar games like foosball, shuffleboard and air hockey was very nice touch as well. My one complaint was they only had one guy running the bar and food orders, including running back and forth to the wine trolley which made service grind to a standstill. read more

Stumbled upon this tasting bar last night after being annoyed with the teenage "punks" who were at the show at the Vault. A guy working there suggested it, so we wandered our way down the road a bit and found it quietly tucked away in what appeared to be a warehouse. The red glowing neon "V" (I think that was the letter anyway) was the only thing making this place stand out in the pitch black night, so were were thankful for that since we probably would have kept walking and not had the opportunity to enjoy this place. I was surprised by the decor or lack there of and that was what makes it so great. I hopped up only a bag of barley which was precariously balanced on barrels and was greeted by Renee. Apparently I went to high school with her, so that was a pleasant surprise. Not only is she beautiful, but also sweet and charming :) We each ordered a Black Market Hef, which we had previously enjoyed numerous times at Public House and although it is a little darker, heavier (not sure of the right lingo) than my usual favorite hef it is beginning to grow on me. I guess my taste buds just need to mature a little... We will definitely be going back to do a tasting. I am intrigued by a new beer that will be released soon. I can't remember the specifics, but I remember the board saying it has oatmeal or something in it. Sounds so yummy! read more

Place was good. They have arcades and tasting room, which was spacious. Beer was good and tasty don't expect a very cold chilled beer. It has a huge fan, (NO AC). It gets very warm. I requested ice to cool down the drinks butr they don't offer ice and not even for warm water. Today's temperature is 98 degrees. Ice would had be nice for customers. read more

We wanted a drink and a snack so we chose this place cause it was close by. They have a large selection of beers but I'm more about the food. I got a light and fruity flight, my bf got an IPA which were all ok. We also ordered the pork nachos and sweet chili wings. The nachos were yummy but could've used a little more meat. The wings were meaty and had a good flavor. Our beertender was ok but got less attentive and our went on then gave 2 $20 and a $1 bill for change. Guess she didn't really want a tip????? read more

This is probably the biggest hometown craft brewery in Temecula. I've had some of their beers in Arizona but it was nice to try some of their other brews that aren't available outside of California. I liked the Aftermath IPA, Blackberry Sour and Seek & Destroy IPA in particular. The beertender was very friendly and helpful in making selections for my tasting flight. read more

Half way through the day while wine-tasting for my 22nd birthday with my parents and boyfriend, my dad and boyfriend said "I need a beer to break up all this wine on my tongue." Such boys....but I'm glad they said it because Black Market is a real gem! A change of pace from cute wineries, Black Market is a true micro brewery, with minimal decor and piles of hay for seats. They had 3 beers on tap, perfect...one for me, one for my boyfriend, and one for my dad. I had the hefeweizen, boyfriend had the brown ale, and dad had the IPA. All were great, but I have to say that my pick was the best - even my dad agreed. Of course I had to start following them on Facebook after my visit, I have read that they have a few new beers, even one in infused with wine. They sure know how to reel me back in for second visit next time I'm visiting a friend in the Inland Empire or wine tasting im Temecula. Black Market rocks! read more

The beers were decent, I'm more of a stout guy but got one of their blonds and it was ok, but they don't have a huge selection but you can see they stick to lighter beers. The food was actually pretty good, sometimes breweries don't have great food but the pretzel was actually pretty good with the dips. The fries/ ships were interesting they were soft and slightly crispy. Some friends got the nachos and they were decent too. We all enjoyed our time here while they did a little Ren Fair and I'm sure we will come back.

I liked the Thor's Courage the best of the classics flight, it was a sparkling mead that tasted the most like just classic honey mead. We asked for a recommendation based on our likes, and he offered us a glass of the Golden Butter Bee Mead, and it tasted as good as it sounded. It kinda was what I think Butterbeer should taste like. We ended up taking a bottle home. He also shared with us that he started his company in 2019, right before the pandemic, and he was able to survive by using his own truck to deliver mead all over the country. If that isn't a testament to his dedication to the craft and the quality of the mead, I'm not sure what is. Will definitely be back when I'm by Temecula, and I want to try to make one of the events sometime soon!

Okay it's like a 2.5 stop but I'm going to round down and here's why: we didn't make a reservation and because of our group size we were told that tours need to call ahead to have things ready. We aren't a professional group and once that was clear we got better treatment but it was definitely tense for a minute. It seems like they were unprepared for a bunch of beer geeks to roll in off the street so definitely call ahead. Most of the beers were uneventful but the one that stood out was the Belgian black. What I like is that there were beers across the spectrum so you can bring sour heads or the standard beer drinker. Don't bring the experimental/risky beer master or drinker here. The space was great. We were able to use the table prior to the group that reserved at 7:30 and the patrons are really nice. Good stop on your booze Cruz through temecula. EDIT: the rest of the team here really went out of their way to make up for the initial experience. They provided a much better experience. I bought a pint glass and a few stickers. Not one beer I tasted (I tried samples of each and every beer available) was worth my time! The service was very poor and I felt shunned for not looking like your typical bro or bro-hoe that this trendy area supports! The small bar has the feel of only being for the friends of the staff and the elitists. The rest of the warehouse was poorly lit and had the most uncomfortable benches my butt has ever met! I will never come back to such a poor business and never would I recommend this place to anyone with a keen sense of taste and appreciates a good beer! read more

Black Market Brewing Company is a local craft brewery. Their tasting room is no frills, and there's no food, but what they do have more than makes up for that: great beer! They always have their Brown Ale, Hefeweizen, and Rye IPA on tap with seasonal/one off beers occasionally making an appearance. Good people, good beer, what's more could you want? read more

Beautiful scenery, tasty food, too expensive for what you're getting…read more This is really all there was to this lunch spot, as it was incredibly expensive when looking through the order, and although the scenery was very nice and I did understand it was a Wine + Lunch spot, I still found it to be very unfairly priced, especially with the service. The wait times depending on the item can range from 20 minutes to an hour (posted on a sign outside of the restaurant was a wait time of 40 minutes, although ours came in about 25). The servers were very neutral, feeling a bit like they were rushing you to order and not incredibly friendly, which was disappointing. Then came the food and drinks. We ordered the Garlic Cheese Flatbread, Eggplant Parmigiana Shoots, the Spicy Meatball Pizza, a tap beer, and a Sangria. This came out to a little over $100 total. There was little to say about the shoots, which tasted good, but more in the way that fast food tastes good, as they were a bit over fried and lacked much flavor on their own without the accompanying sauces. The Garlic Cheese Flatbread and Spicy Meatball Pizza were both very tasty, but unfortunately the experience was stained by the high prices which made it more difficult to enjoy them for what they were. The Sangria was not very good, though that may be a matter of personal taste, and the beer was one I knew I liked so it, of course, was what I expected. I did not have a bad time here, and wouldn't say it is not worth going to, but for my taste and the overall experience I had, I would likely not return again. However, I do want to end on a positive note, which was that if you do go, the pizzas are incredibly fresh and delicious, and although a bit oily, are definitely worth ordering, but I would skip the appetizers entirely.

The tasting room is a pretty good size and has a lot of seating available even with all the people coming in for the event. Maddie was amazing. She helped my girlfriends and I out in choosing our beverages of choice for the evening and kept us satisfied with our refills. The actual comedy event was outside on their patio area. It was also a nice size that accommodated the crowd well. There was a taco truck out front so we had everything we needed. Such a fun time, will be back for sure.

This industrial modern brewery located in Temecula serves some pretty good beer, and seltzers as modern music plays on a turntable in the background. Gotta love vinyl records! On occasion live musicians perform on an outdoor stage, and food trucks provide delicious sustenance for purchase. Staff are very friendly and James is always willing to share his knowledge of beer, and listen. Highly recommend for a Friday afternoon.
