They refuse to show us signed receipt and say they never took cash because they don't take cash at all at there facility. I've been coming here a few times per week for the lunch special for almost a year now. For $11 you get 2 slices of pizza and a beer and, besides being an awesome deal, each are worth 5 stars alone. Everything on their menu is great. The meatballs are delicious. The wings are crispy and taste great, the mozzarella sticks are perfectly seasoned and the salad... well lets be honest, I've never tried the salad but I've heard good things. When it come to beer these guys know their stuff. They have multiple gabf gold medal beers, I highly recommend the "Gold", and the Great White Buffalo but almost everything they make is truly excellent. This place is 2nd in my top 3 favorite breweries which include Garage Brewing and Belching Beaver. If you're in the area you won't find a better spot for a great lunch time deal or really great beer. I came here at opening on a Saturday. I drove out to Temecula for the day. The only other people who came while I was there were older couples. They all got flights of 5 beers for $5.50 to share. Some didn't finish the beers they didn't like! I found that insane because I drank each of my 5 beers. They did take home bottles or growlers of their favorites. They have a number of beers that are always on tap, including a stout that was low in alcohol and actually drinkable. I also tried seasonal beers like the Oktoberfest and pumpkin and one with a pineapple aftertaste. The beer was hoppy at first so the pineapple taste did not complement it too well. The brewery was empty. I peaked over to the brewery - there are picnic tables where you can bring your beer and your own food. Service was fair and the price for a flight was cheap. I'm just glad Temecula has up and coming breweries with Black Market being its oldest. read more

Definitely a fan. To be honest, I had never heard of most of the Temecula based breweries until my recent visit and overall I'm impressed. Out the breweries that I visited, I felt like Black Market had one of the best varieties. I always say to be a good craft brewery you have to show that you can make a wide range of styles. Black Market did just that. With any brewery I recommend that anyone visiting tries a flight or at least wide variety of styles they offer. It's really the only way to find out what you like and to find out how good a brewery actually is. Once of the best parts of their brewery is that they have two different serving bars which helps when the crowds come in. Service was fast and they have plenty of seating. I'd have to say my favorite here is their Berliner Weiss and the fact they do flavored syrups to pair with their sours. Genius. read more

This is a great little place. A few friends and I met here to try their beer. I was blessed enough to get a few samples a few years ago at the San Diego Beer Festival during the Del Mar Fair (yep, not calling it the SD fair, sorry). I really enjoyed it then, so I was stoked to get a chance to try more of their stuff. It's a smaller location, but there is plenty of room for good beer consumption. There are a few seats at the bar, a couple barrel tables and a back bar with no seats. they sell tasters, growlers and pints. The tasters are a great deal at a dollar each. Nice setup to be honest. They even have a TV which would be great for game day. We decided to get a taster flight and all of us were glad we did. The bartender was really nice. She explained the beers and how the process worked for the flight. I like that she poured them one beer at a time, and not all 5 at once. I've never been a fan of trying to herd 25 beers at once (there were 5 of us, I'm not a professional beer drinker). Beers were cold the way they should be served. We started off with their Hefeweizen which was nice. Smooth, clean, and wonderfully produced. There wasn't a giant taste of banana either, which I really liked. Great way to start people on craft beers if they are scared of becoming enlightened. The Brown Ale was really nice. Darker, with a great caramel finish. I think it was my favorite. Rye IPA: Super balanced and a lot lighter in color than expected. I am not an IPA guy, but I found myself really enjoying this one, so I have to say, it's good.! Weisbock: Entered in at the GABF this year. I think it stands a great chance as it was a very good beer for an 87 plus degree day. Cherry Chocolate Stout: Intriguing. The more I drank it, the more I liked it. It reminded me of German Chocolate cake with a bit of cherry but it wasn't overpowering. I would try it again. If you live in Temecula, this is a no-brainer, if you feel like something a little different than wine when you visit the area, give this place a try. Nice staff, good beer and a fun location. Awesome beer here!! I have been here a few times and love the variety of stouts and porters. Tuesday's are great here for $2 beers and $2 pizza slices. Oh and the buffalo chicken pizza is delicious! One of the times I came with a group of girlfriends and the service and food weren't great that night (which was a not too busy Thursday). Something definitely was off that day. However, the manager came by and we told him what was going on. He listened, was personable and sweet. He also took care of the problems and made everything right. Great beers, great food...but they have some NASTY bathrooms. One had no paper towels so my kids couldn't even dry their hands. My kids were disgusted at the bathrooms. My wife tried speaking to a manager and he didn't seem to care, blew her off and said she wasn't "speaking full sentences." He didn't seem to like his job either. Not the warmest welcome when you walk up an hour and a half before close and the beertender screams "THERES PEOPLE HERE" over and over again to their coworker. Got our beers and patio lights were shut off and employees peaced out at 8:28 (Yelp and website says closing time is 9) About 8 people out there drinking their beers in pitch black while employees smoked cigarettes on the patio. Awesome beer, food and staff! I like a nice strong not too hoppy beer and this place delivered just that. BMB has a great selection of beer with profiles ranging from tart to sour and hoppy. In my opinion, the top 3 that stood out the most were (in no particular order) and a must try: 1. Barrel Aged Goliath 2. BBA Quadrophenia 3. Liberation. Sure there were other beers I liked (like the Deception) but the three mentioned above will have me coming for more. We ordered what we thought was a basic order of chorizo nachos but to our surprise there was nothing basic about it. The nachos were topped with melted cheddar cheese, chorizo, smothered in a cream sauce and finally topped with fresh pico de gallo and a side of sour cream and guacamole. We also ordered a large pepperoni pizza that was delicious and came with a buttered crust and a dusting of parmesan cheese. The pizza was on point or maybe I'm a sucker for butter and cheese on my pizza crust ;) The beertender was friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions regarding the beer profiles. The cook was also friendly and even delivered our food right to our table. If you have kids with you (or if you want to unleash your inner kid), the brewery has a Cocktail Arcade with many old school games, as well as giant wooden blocks (think Jenga) that help entertain kids while you enjoy your beer. Really liked it here the first few times. A few months ago, a LARGE cockroach came cruising by us on the bar. We told 2 different staff members and they weren't surprised at all, barely acknowledged. Fast forward, we went back the other day, ordered a pizza and a couple beers. As we sat at the bar, we watched at least 6 baby cockroaches crawl out from a crack in the cash register and into their pen holder. The bartender quickly disinfected the area as best he could but we could still see even more roaches peeking out from the register. With food being prepped in the sane room, i wanted to vomit. Probably the worst pizza I have ever tasted in my life. Recently purchased via Grubhub. Way overcooked and bland plus it was almost $70.00 for two large pizzas. Take home and bake from Costco is 100 times better followed by Dominos, any frozen pizza from the store and yes even Little Caesars rounding out the top 4 mediocre pizzas available that are generally considered to rule over this pathetic attempt at a pie. I feel like I was punished for using Grubhub because there seems to be no way you could actually screw up pizza. It's two main ingredients plus 3 toppings you place on it. How hard could it be? I would like to start off by saying that I have come to Black market regularly for a long time and I have always recommended family and friends to go there as well. However, after last Sunday I have no desire to ever go back or ever spread positive feedback about this location. I have managed five different restaurants myself And I can say that I would never treat customers the way that the manager, Jeremiah, treated me and my family. We had a passing of our father and came in as a family to have some beer and food and be together during this tough time and Jeremiah verbally assaulted my brother for a simple misunderstanding. I would never even consider hiring Jeremiah as part of my staff let alone allowing him to run my location and I truly think the owners need to re-consider him as part of their staff. Our server (I don't remember her name) was blonde and very cute and sweet, she had told us that we ourselves go and pick up our food when it's ready which of course is no biggy. The speakers at this location are terrible and the person cooking was not talking loud at all so we didn't even hear our name being called with the first order which resulted in our food sitting up there getting cold. We then put in another order and couldn't understand what the speaker was calling out so I asked my brother to go up there and grab the pretzel that sitting there (along with other items that were sitting for awhile) which is one of the things we had just ordered because I saw it sitting there and didn't want it getting cold. My brother goes to pick it up, brings it back to the table and then all of the sudden Jeremiah walks up to us and starts accusing us of stealing, also stating we are "stealing from his family", he was yelling at all of us for a fricken pretzel! Not to mention, I come in here all the time and his family is there almost every time. I'm sorry but your customers need to come FIRST, your family can stay home if you're going to act like an unstable individual over a PRETZEL that was probably discounted since you're a manager. We were trying to explain to him calmly what was going on and he just kept yelling and a assaulting my entire family. If I could give zero stars I would. Our server came over after and apologized to us numerous times and said that was unacceptable and I made it very clear to her that she was great but Jeremiah was BEYOND awful. First time visit. Pizza was good, crust is about perfect. Sampled a few beers, they were only slightly chilled. The Stout I had was very good, but I was personally not a fan of the other samples. There is no wait staff and trying to get anyone to help you was difficult. The staff seemed bothered to be asked to take my order. I must have been there the same day as some of the others who commented about it being like Chuck-E-Cheese as there was numerous kids running about and bumping into everything. Enjoyed an afternoon tasting the numerous DIPAs on the board. Gold was my fave (A GABF Gold medal winner BTW). The others were very good. We ordered and demolished a pizza from the in-house food place which was DELICIOUS!!! Really liked the hard seltzer for a lighter choice. We have passed through Temecula dozens of times over the years and finally decided to stop at one of the breweries... numbering 16 from what I count and 18 if you include BJs and Karl Strauss (but I don't). We have been here a couple times in the past and really enjoy it. We celebrated my husband's birthday here in May and the staff were so kind and friendly. They regularly checked up on us to make sure everything was ok. We had some kids in our party and it was nice to have a kid friendly environment. Definitely recommend. Like other reviews I've read, there are some definite 'tudes where customer service should preside. So I've been here before & had a good time in the past & enjoy their beer. In other reviews I've read that you can bring dogs, so yesterday we made the trip out with friends & our dog. After a few minutes the bartender gave me attitude about us not having a 'service dog'. When I apologized that I had read on an online review that we could bring dogs, she snottily replied "well, that hasn't been since October". Look, the thing is I don't expect everyone to cater to my obsession of treating my dog like my child, BUT: 1. Your website is down. If you're going to change your policies, then let the public know. 2. Don't be a biatch about it when people don't know the current status due to mis-information that's floating out there... Sad to review this so low as the beers are good quality and worth tasting, but the "manager" Kelly and another employee with short red hair were EXTREMELY rude to us on our visit that it made the experience less than acceptable. Apparently this brewery is not dog friendly which is fine and we were more than willing to bring our dog outside while we were in the tasting room but the way both these women acted and treated us just for having a dog and not being aware they did not allow it, was so uncomfortable and VERY rude, they were condescending and acted superior to us just for having a dog. We don't feel comfortable coming back but hope the brewery is able to correct these womens' attitudes or replace them with much more pleasant people. I am very disappointed and shocked with the treatment we received tonight. UPDATE.. Set up is not the best here. You walk into a small room where they have a "L" shaped bar with about 10 places to sit. All the spots were taken leaving the only place to order a small window in the next room. The room next door is nice and large with several big picnic tables for seating. This is also they're tank room and barrel aging. Beer: Anniversary Ale w/ Pineapple Nice hop note on front mellowing to a subtle pineapple finish Saison Mandarina Light summery beer with a little sourness to start and getting hoppy in the middle and ending with citrus Sour Cherry Just as it sounds. Punch you in the face sourness and a ton of cherry flavor. Revolution Oatmeal Stout Nice and smooth texture. Full of chocolate to begin leading into coffee to leave a nice mocha finish. Great beer overall in my opinion. Definitely will be back again when in Temecula. read more

My favorite is the atmosphere. I'm old comparatively, but it doesn't seem to matter. Just a group of people enjoying some tasty beers and pizza. The staff are friendly and on top of it. My friends brought me here one night, I would rather go out for a cocktail not beer, however each of the beers I have tried have all been very good. Came to Nino R's UYE tonight and this place is so cool! Got to meet the owner, Andrew Marshall, and he's a cool dude. He's been workin hard on this place for 2 years. He had great tunes playing, gave us an awesome tour of the original warehouse, and was super friendly. You must say hi to Amber Ale, too. She's so sweet. I highly recommend getting in on this growing brewery while they're still young, cuz they're going places!! So another stop on my Temecula adventures and I wanted to try this place. Simple little tasting room tucked into the business looking district but i like the small startup feel of the place, even though they are getting ready for their 3rd Anniv. No food served but they had a guy outside making tacos and burritos that seemed to keep everyone happy, was it permanent..I dunno I would probably call ahead to check. The seating was very limited of course but in small tasting spots like this...that is the norm. We sat at the bar on kegs covered in large bags or grain. They had 8 beers on tap....I would have 2 of those again. Not horrendous beer by any means...but I am picky with my beer. I will try anything, but I am a beer snob for sure. Cool little spot...I would prpbably go back as their Imperial Stout and Belgian Quad were coming up..and those are some of my favorite types. read more

Big fan. They added in a pizza place and the food looks great. Awesome addition!. The beer isn't too bad either. Their lineup covers everything from sours to an impressive array of IPAs.
