We stopped in here yesterday after our walk and it was great! The cold brew I got was delicious and all of the bakery items looked great also. This place is so disappointing. They go through all the trouble to provide organic coffee and can't provide organic milk. So I suppose I am to be excited to pay 6$ for a latte which is 3/4 non organic milk? Let's break it down: cows eat GMO corn and soy sprayed with glyphosate and are injected with antibiotics and hormones and all of that is concentrated in their milk and they want to sell me an "organic" coffee? In healdsburg of all places where people have the money to pay for a higher quality item... it should be provided. We continued on our way and stopped in Guerneville where we got an organic latte with ORGANIC MILK. read more

New coffee place in town. SUPER CUTE decor and SUPER FRIENDLY service. The coffee was really good too. I got the Dulce de latte which was amazing!!! Especially if you like sweet coffee. I would personally add an extra shot next time to balance it out more but it was still just awesome. Wish I lived closer so I could get it all the time. My friend got the matcha chai and she liked it. I tasted it and felt it leaned more on the chai than matcha side but it was good if you're into that spice flavor. They also have pastries! They're house made pumpkin latte is hands down probably one of the best pumpkin lattes I've ever had! I didn't change the milk and I think it was whole milk but you can really taste the pumpkin and their foam was really good too, super fall and if you like creamy drinks it was really good! This was a coffee shop a lot of the locals recommended. Super cute inside and there's outside seating in the alleyway. It's pretty spacious, you can order from your phone or the old school in person way. They place a little wax paper to put your lid on so you can see your drink, I totally messed that up and asked what the purpose was lol. But it was a great spot for people to catch up and get some work done. There were outlets, bar seating, and tables. They're pastries and treats looked good too! Friendly workers, located downtown so you can pretty much park anywhere and walk to it, I don't remember much street parking but I parked a couple of blocks away and walked. My family and I went to this place for the first time today and none of us will be coming back. The cashier this morning had a rude attitude. And no, we didn't harass her or make our order complicated in any way. Just asked a question about the coffee and that seemed to bother her. On top of that, we didn't like any of our beverages. They were overly sweet, so I guess that appeals to the masses. My partner said it tastes like overpriced Starbucks. My sibling said there's better coffee elsewhere, and I have to agree. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops of all time! I was a regular customer at the Ukiah location when I went to college there and was so excited to see that they were opening up a location in my favorite town ever, Healdsburg! They took over the old flying goat location and made it their own. I love the color scheme they went with and the decor. I love when companies pay attention to the attention to detail and they are definitely one that does. Everything down to the well thought out punch cards make a place so great! You can really taste the quality of the coffee. I was so happy to see that they still carried some of the drinks that they offer at their other location. I will be coming back to this location 1000x. If you love lavender come and get their lavender latte!! The lavender was very strong! Loved the floral aroma. My friend got the pumpkin latte and I thought it was also very good! I'm usually not a fan of pumpkin spiced flavor but it was very pleasing to my taste buzz!!! Nice ambiance. The line was long, but it moves fast. Very busy on a Sunday morning. Would recommend if you are in the area! FYI- I my friend said they sell one of their coffee beans at the near by Costco, in a larger bag! More bang for your buck! read more

It was my first time in Healdsburg. Was with a friend running an errand. Black Oak is near the town square. There was a film crew that day. They were filming outside. And eventually, inside as well. I could see why this place was used. It has a cool, hip vibe. To check out a new to me cafe, I always order a cappuccino, to check out the quality of the coffee used, and to check out the foaminess of the steamed milk. The coffee was a nice medium roast. It was not very acidic, and no burnt flavors. An excellent cup! All the workers were very nice and I can tell they actually like working there. If I'm in town again, this will be my first stop. read more

Great coffee shop. It's a big place with plenty of room. Their lox bagel and the avocado toast looks really great. I will try that next time. I went for the breakfast burrito as I was eating in the car. The burrito was really average, unfortunately. The sausage was nice, but the potatoes weren't cooked all the way and there was no cheese so it was just plain. I'd give it 3/5 stars. Visited Healdsburg for the first time, and looked up best coffee in town. We were so excited to find this place! However we almost didn't go in because the line was out the door (most good things in life are worth waiting for) so luckily we had time to wait. Coffee was incredibly fresh. I tried one of their special lattes with Brown sugar and it was great! We will be back! Coffee is delicious, but the cups were what I would consider 3/4 full for all three of our drinks (latte and 2 cappuccinos), including the foam layer. This place has really come along in the past short few years. My wife loves coffee, especially a good espresso. This is her number one spot for the past year, and we should own stock on how often we go here. I love the Mayan Mocha that has dark chocolate ...o yeah. I had a normal Mocha and a Latte - all very good and the presentation was exceptional. So, if you are in town and want a new coffee experience, give the Oak a try. The pastries and food are ok, not my favorite and not what they are excellent but not bad and they will hit the spot if you are in need of a quick fix. I ordered the Dulce de Leche latte, the coffee overpowered the drink. It was very strong and for the name, I expected it to be sweeter. I also had the blueberry scone which was good! The service was okay, it was my first time visiting so I was a little flustered but it got pretty busy when I went in so I can see that they were trying to get through the rush. It was a nice layout, does get a little crowded in line at the entrance but definitely plenty of room to wait around. read more

Boyfriend and I have only been here one time, have only tried one drink, but we both agree that it was best tasting mocha we've had as far back as we can remember. The large drink was about $6, which to me sounds kind of expensive but Boyfriend says mochas at high end coffee places cost that much and we could've spent that much at Starbucks for something that tasted far less impressive.
