We used to love this place and get pizza here once a week but the quality has gone down and you'd get a good pizza every less than half the time. Our last two orders all the pizzas were overcooked with the small amount of cheese on them being way overdone. Surprisingly the bottoms were not burnt. We typically love Blackjack's pizza we always order the Good Deal and breadsticks but the past 2 times we have ordered delivery it has been terrible!! The first missed delivery was delivered to the wrong house we never got it (through the blackjack app) and the second delivery (through doordash) came over an hour late, cold, and with a lack of help from the store. Back in college in Fort Collins we used to order Blackjack because it was super cheap. The quality reflected that. Well they have changed. I can't speak for their regular pizzas, but the square pan pizza is really good. It's a Detroit style pizza, but sauce is under cheese. No, it's not wood fired lobster gourmet flatbread, but for an inexpensive chain pizza place it is very good. There's always a ton of toppings and pretty cool specialty pizzas. They also have a square pizza that is about as close to a Detroit pizza as I've seen. Try the square crust specialty pizza that has cream cheese, bacon, and jalapeños. It was awesome! read more

My fourth most memorable moment is perhaps the time I went into Blackjack Pizza and was informed by the employee there that if I ordered over the phone I could do the carry-out special for less than $9 out the door. All I had to do was call in my order, rather than ordering online. This is a LARGE pizza with TWO toppings for under $9, people! The pizza is GOOD, too! This past weekend my wife and daughter were gone and I went for our weekly ritual, solo. I am proud to say that I finished the pizza myself. Had a disappointing experience with ordering pizza last night as I ordered online on Blackjack's web ordering site and put in the delivery address, the site accepted payment and I got my email that it would take 45mins to be cooked and then out for delivery. I was sending this pizza to a group of hungry kids. 37 mins after the order was placed I received a phone call from Blackjack to say that my order had been made at the Louisville location & they could/would not deliver to Boulder so they had cancelled the order. 37 minutes after I placed the order. Needless to say I had to then order pizza from another place and drive it over to the kids. I get that certain locations can't deliver to certain places but their website should not allow the order to be processed if that is the case. Also, if they can not fulfill the order they need to call you within 10 mins not basically at the end of the time window that your order should have been cooked and going out for delivery. read more

Shockingly great .... did the square pizza bacon cheeseburger w pep and jerk wings. Well wings cooked to perfection smaller size wings but really good flavor.. (jerk wings def worth try). Pizza cooked all way threw i know deep dish style are hard too. Amazing!! Pizza sauce def tell its not a can and dump recipe but fresh tasting robust sauce. Cheese was ok topping really good. One of the most excellent pies in the immediate area. In these day of covid-19 I had an order or two messed up a bit but overall these folks are just excellent. I called BlackJack in Louisville at 10:30am this morning to place a pizza delivery order for my daughter's birthday party. The delivery time was set at 1:15 PM. When the pizzas had not shown up by 1:20 I called the store. The manager of the store told me that they got "really busy" and the delivery car would not be back at their store for another four minutes. He assured me that once the car was back, they would arrive at my location which was less than a 10 minute drive. 25 minutes later when the pizzas had still not arrived, I called back with no other option but to tell them to cancel my order. I had 15 hungry kids sitting at a table with no pizza and only 15 minutes left at our party reservation time. Thankfully, the kids were able to fill up on ice cream cake but I will certainly never place an order at this location again and I would discourage anyone from going there. What terrible service and absolutely no remorse from the store manager. The manager said that "it is just what happens at lunchtime", which is exactly why I placed the order at 10:30 in the morning rather than calling them at noon. read more

I'd give this Blackjack a ZERO if I could!!! Initially I had a great experience with them but, for some reason, my pizzas started arriving with all of the toppings on one side of the pizza and "glued" to the box so I couldn't even salvage them. I've also had my online orders cancelled due to store closure resulting from a lack of business. A manager has called me to apologize and offer 50% off a future order, which I thought was great at the time, until I took them up on their offer and they declined it. This store's quality of product and customer service is beyond disappointing and I would encourage anyone who cares about what they're ordering to avoid ti! This used to be our go to pizza place but we've had many issues with their customer service and them running out of menu items. When you order from the app you get an automated email that says your order will arrive in 35 min, this actually was one of the reasons it became our go to place but quickly realized it is always 1 hr + and we do not live far away. When there is an issue with the order (they've run out of square pizza, cinnabread topping, etc.) they haven't called until 45 min after the order was placed. It's supposed to arrive within 35 min and they don't start making it or figuring out there is an issue until 45 min later... when they do get it wrong they call, apologize and don't offer any options, additional discounts/coupons to make it better. Just more of a too bad for you tone - no thank you. Only bright side is blackjacks last strike helped us find pizza king! read more

For fast food pizza, this place is great. They have a great deal of toppings to choose from, prices are fantastic, delivery is beyond fast. We have been coming to this Blackjack Pizza location for many years. Without fail, they have great deals on pizza, and it's hot and tasty. The service is great, and I love ordering online for takeout or delivery. They now have gluten free crust, and while it's not as good as some other pizzerias in the area, it's still tasty and more reasonably priced. When we have a big crew coming over and we don't want to break the bank, Blackjack is always our first choice. read more
