Came in for a $50 oil change, left with a $300 bill. Felt completely taken advantage of as a young woman who doesn't know much about cars. Lots of pushy upselling, and everything was suddenly "urgent" once my car was already in the bay. Ironically, the guys actually working on the car were nice -- the issue was the front desk experience and the ladies who I thought would be the least likely to try and scam me. Came in to get my blinker replaced. I was quoted over the phone by Firestone for approximately $135 for labor. Drove down the street to this location and Bransen fixed it in less than 5 mins for a total of $11. That price difference is astronomical and I could not be more thankful.. read more

I knew my windshield wiper fluid was empty and I recently replaced a tire with the spare on my Honda CRV. Adam was assigned to check / refill these. He also took the initiative to check other fluids which I did not request, and he found another fluid level which was perilously low and notified me of it. We talked for a few minutes and he cleared up some questions I had about some other automotive systems. He spoke with clarity and friendliness. I think Gus, the manager loves his job, because he is always involved with his customers and he certainly made a good judgment when he hired Adam to the Jiffy Lube team! If I could give Zero stars I would. Went in for a oil change and left the shop to drive out of town and see a oil leak. Took it back to them to find out they left a washer off that could of caused my engine to blow from losing so much oil. Tried to give them another chance to do my oil change Only for them to tell me that my Oil Pan was "cracked" before I came in for service. Told me they would fix it for $700. No notes had been left in the system to state that I had a "crack" in my oil pan. Which means the crack was not there before coming in for them to fix what they already messed up. I know for a fact my oil pan was not cracked before coming in for service. Due to not experiencing any type of oil leak before coming in to get a oil change. Called them to explain what happened and of course said they are not responsible. read more

We tried to get them to fix it and they said it was like that when they got it. Not true! The. We took it to Firestone near by to find out tires were loose and oil pan was cracked. I service both my vehicles at either the Conway SC location located 255 Singleton Ridge and 1952 10th Ave N Myrtle Beach. I have to say the Conway location went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle was serviced properly. To make along story short, I was there for an oil change and tune up while servicing my vehicle the tech informed of a potential major hazard to my vehicle and informed me about it before any work was done, he placed the parts order and the service provider dropped the wrong part, again he told me this and placed a second part order and again the wrong part was delivered, so this young man spoke to me again but this time he drove to the part store in his own vehicle and retrieved the right part and 30 to 45 minutes later i was on the road again. Recently relocated to SC and have been a HUGE Jiffy Lube supporter for 20 years. This trip was different. They let me sit in the driveway for 12 minutes before acknowledging me. There was one car in the bay. I finally got out of my car and was greeted with " we will be with you shortly". Finally a tech came out and said there were only three of them working and it would be a 45 minute wait. I left - never to return to this location. Oh and the tech refused to provide me with his name when I asked if he was the manager. Poor customer service and NOT a reflection of other Jiffy Lube locations. I went in for an oil change. They decided that they wanted to look at my air filter and tell me I need a new one. Didn't replace it. Come to find out the screws were bent and some weren't even put back into place fully to hold my air filter compartment in place. Annoying considering I didn't even want my air filter changed and they couldn't even put the screws back in correctly. Not coming back. read more

There was no wait time and the staff was absolutely fantastic. They had two people in the upper bay and one in the lower to get me out fast! Had my oil changed, tires rotated, and cabin filter changed in about 25 minutes. Absolutely wonderful service and extremely nice staff as well. I went for an oil change b/c my maintenance light was on but sticker said I wasn't due for 4K more miles. Adam was so kind. At no cost, he checked to be sure I had more time and confirmed that I did. The entire business model of staying in your car for a fast and convenient oil change is anything but. As I am sitting in my car I was constantly getting approached by the male technicians like salespeople at a furniture store, trying to sell me more and more than I had asked for. I am a young woman who doesn't know much about cars. The first thing the technician said to me was " how are are your windshield blades do you need new ones?" I only wanted an oil change! After leaving there being swindled into paying over $100 for an oil change and being bombarded with " this needs done and we can do it for xyz price" I was upset. After looking up the things they recommended I found service at a family owned local automotive repair shop near my house that agreed Jiffy Lube is all about selling you crap you don't need! The prices were much lower and they actually explained to me what needed to be done and why it cost the way it does, rather than showing me a price on an iPad without explaining what the recommended service entailed. read more

After a routine oil change and engine flush, the engine started to shake shortly afterwards whenever it sat idle. Brought it back in 3 days later. After several of the technicians inspected the problem and ran a diagnostic test, turned out all I needed was a tune up. (original spark plugs after 160k miles). Car now runs much better, and very satisfied with the work done, as the repair cost was fair. Manager, Kim runs a great crew. read more

The last time I used jiffy lube was two years ago. I used to go all the time because I am a college student and they offered a discount on oil changes. Last time I went however I also got a "new battery" which typically are supposed to last three years. That day I drove home from the shop, and when I went to start my car later that day my car would not start. I called them up and they sent someone over with a new battery to instal in my car...now today (not even two years later) my car battery died again, despite them promising it lasting at-least two years (of course I lost the receipt ).. luckily I have AAA and they came and installed a new battery for me. What pissed me off more though was that while the AAA guy installed it he told me that the old battery was put in really sloppy. Safe to say I will never use a jiffy lube again because of this experience, and any college student who reads this review, think twice before going here..the 10% off on an oil change is not worth it read more

Highly upset with this Jiffy Lube. As a 21 year old girl attending CCU, I took my car there to get serviced pretty often. A day before taking a trip to D.C. I went to get my oil changed. They told me that my brakes were so wore down that I needed them changed immediately or they would go out on me! My car isn't even 3 years old! Only 34,000 miles on my car/brakes. On top of that, they told me my air filter needed to be changed and it would cost over $50. They tried to take advantage of me because I'm a young woman! Rip off! read more

I didn't ask to be contacted, but if you are asking a customer for contact information to resolve an issue including damage to their vehicle, I would assume actual contact would be the next step. I took my C320 2005 Mercedes in because the brake wear indicator light was on, and it was time for a oil change. When I went in , and after inspection I was told it would take a hour and a half. Well it took them 4 hours and a half. They said whomever they get parts from sent the wrong part. I was waiting in the lobby and nobody ever came out to inform me of the delay. The real problem I have with this location is this. After they finally finished and release the car to me and I get in, I noticed the indicator light was still on in the dash. I also noticed the left front driver tire looked low. I brought this to their attention. They apologized, the manager got into my car and tried to reset the indicator and was unsuccessful. He informed me to take my car to ken's automotive, who works on foreign cars and ask them to reset it. Really I have to spent more money and waste more time taking my car elsewhere to do what jiffy lube singleton ridge road should have been able to do. By the way my price tag for oil change and brake work was $675.00 I will not return, will be going to a Mercedes certified dealer!!! read more

The techs really helped my dad make the right decision on services. The techs were able to do an oil change, wheel alignment, replace cabin filter, replace radiator cap, and vacuum the car for under $75. We will be going back for tire replacement. Great job! read more

Jiffy lube is the worst! Took my car for an oil change, left my car was loud and riding rough. Took it to the dealership they said not a drop of transmission fluid was in there. Had this car for six months no problem. Took it back to jiffy lube they said I had an transmission leak and needed a new front axle. Paid $250 for them to fix it. Guess where I am... On the side of the road cause the axle they supposedly fix that I never had a problem with snapped while I was driving on a busy hwy. I almost got hit in the back by a truck. My car wouldn't move all I could hear was metal hitting metal. Thank God the fire department was on this hwy and came and pushed me out the way. They asked who fixed my car when I told them they laughed and said I was better off doing it myself. Only come to jiffy lube if u have money and time for them to break your car. Worst service ever!!!! Tried to say my daughter's engine light that came on after they changed the oil and filter and checked the air filter had nothing to do with what they had just done. She hadn't even left their parking lot when the light came on. The engine light had never been on before this. Told her it was a coincidence. After having to be towed the next day, we find out that that a hose to the air filter compartment hadn't been re-connected and the engine was not getting air flow. Let me think, they checked the air filter, their machine said the air filter sensor was why the engine light came on, they had just checked the air filter...but it wasn't their problem. Then when I called to ask why they hadn't gone over the work they had just done, I got hung up on because I called them out. The manager said I cussed at him, I never said a cuss word, but I did tell him, he needed to go back and check the work that had just been performed when someone doesn't even make it out of their parking lot. It's a shame when a business can't admit to a simple mistake. We all make them at some point in life. read more
