After a kind couple's attempt to jump the car didn't work, we were feeling pretty stuck--until we realized we were literally across the street from an O'Reilly Auto Parts. I called the store, and that's when Ed became our hero of the night. Without hesitation, he walked across the street with a jumper and got our car running again. And he didn't stop there! Today Chris was in the store. I recognized him from previous visits. He always provides a warm welcome as soon as my feet cross the threshold of the entrance. Chris is an exceptional Auto Parts expert and works very quickly at getting what I need. Chris also takes the time to provide educational details on the different options. I needed a headlight bulb because if it's not a fog light it's my headlight bulbs blowing after a few years. The joys of vehicle ownership! Chris was kind enough to put the bulb in for me. I appreciate the service and the staff here not just this visit but every visit before this. My stepdad is a mechanic and really likes NAPA so when I needed a new air filter and cabin filter, I thought of this place. Well, it was a good thing that I checked on their website for the store hours before heading over because they close a lot earlier than the other auto parts stores (6pm M-F and 4pm Sat). I was not in a rush to get the parts but it is something important to keep in mind. The NAPA store is small in comparison to their competitors but I got exactly what I needed and it was actually a few bucks cheaper than their competitors. It was also pretty cool to hear that the guy checking out at the register next to me had put in an order that morning for a part and it was there by the afternoon for him to pickup. I have generally had a good experience at any auto parts store I have been to (specifically auto parts stores, not tire or mechanic shops) and I don't necessarily have a preference. I like that NAPA had been longstanding in this industry and has been around since 1925. In addition, I believe they specialize in finding the exact part you need verses one that could be universal. Even just for my air filter, the salesman came out to my car to check my engine size. I will continue to go to NAPA unless I have an urgent need and they are closed.

We have a disabled kiddo so we had to get childcare. When we arrived, the woman at reception on the new car side was curt and borderline rude. We arrived at the appointed time were told to go outside and look around. When we came in a young Indian man offered us help and I said we'd like to look at the certified, pre-owned vehicles. He said you look online pick one, he drives to get it and brings it back. If you want to look at another he returns that one and brings the next. I told him I'd like to just look at them all. He said the pre-owned is in an undisclosed location and that wasn't an option. With a disabled kiddo, we don't have 10 hours to wait for someone to drive back and forth with vehicles you pick out online. I'm not buying a $10.00 item on Facebook, it's a car. We left and a gentleman from new did try to help however he told me the pre-owned cars were like the new ones and I could get a look and then pick one for them to go get. We left and went to Acura. The part arrived within the window he quoted (2-3 hours), was installed without fuss, and the final bill was reasonable. What stood out as much as the technical work: he flagged a slow coolant leak and a minor oil leak -- this is an older car, so neither was a shock -- but there was no pressure to pile on services. He showed me rough estimates so I'd have them when I'm ready and left the decisions to me. That kind of straightforward, no-upsell approach is rarer than it should be. The waiting area is a genuine plus: free wifi, a table big enough to work at, and a small fridge with complimentary drinks, large TV. My one suggestion would be to add a coffee in the AM. Also, the door to the reception currently reads "B". Might want to avoid any confusion with better signage.
