I first must say, the food was very good, and the atmosphere nice. The reason for 3 stars is its very expensive, mains entree is 20 to 30 dollar, some much more. Thing is that veggies or potatoes are all alacart. Those are another 6 to 10 dollars. The menu is very fancy and very vague. Had really no idea what I was getting when I ordered. There wasn't any description. Overall, a smidge overpriced, and a bit to houity touity for me. Alcohol is " I'm not buying cause I'm being raped" prices. Dinner for 2 , with lesser prices main entrees, 2 sides, 1 iced tea, and a chocolate mousse shared for dessert cost a flat $80, so with a $23 tip, $103 for dinner, without drinks. Great place in Lititz to get food.Blackworth is in the lobby of the Wilbur hotel former home of the old Wilbur chocolate factory. The staff was friendly and attentive and the prices were good. My husband and I had a nice little date night dinner. It was a lovely place for a date night. The atmosphere is really cool yet comfortable. All of the food that we ordered was delicious. The chorizo starter was incredible. We each got a steak and both were amazing. We got the sauce flight so we could try them all. They were all very flavorful and paired well with the steaks. My wife and I decided to try Blackworth on a Tuesday. We made online reservations for 7:45PM. The food was good and the server was great. The atmosphere of the place is wonderful. But we waited quite a long time for our food. The appetizers came quite late. On a TUESDAY....after the dinner hour. Meat Extravaganza was incredibly good. It was sharable for 2 couples with some sides and a couple of appetizers. Great wine list. The Eguia Reserva Rioja 2015 was the perfect accompaniment to the fire grilled meats. The only negative was the long wait between appetizer and main course, but perhaps that could be chalked up to the staff shortage that the restaurant industry is facing currently. 6 of us went here for dinner on February 20, 2020. We had 2 of the cheese board apps - really nice selections of cheese, but portions are way too small for the cost in my opinion. Proceeded to the dinner, we had a mix of fish, steaks and chicken, all the proteins were good and the steaks were cooked as requested - the roasted squash came with the skins on? So they were tough and basically uncooked skins - very odd to leave the skins on, it would have been so much better if it was the roasted flesh instead. Had chocolate ice cream, apple donuts and the baked cookie - all were good. I would say reservations are an absolute must, extremely busy and so loud in this restaurant, be ready to yell at the people at your table so they can hear you. Very nice interior design though - kudos to the designer on this place. And skip the squash! Pick anything but that squash. read more

This is an incredible new restaurant in Lititz. The food and service were great loved it. The place is a little loud, but maybe I'm a little old. I had the duck two ways and loved it, duck was cooked perfectly and the waffle was an unexpected but awesome touch. My wife had the pork shank and it too was cooked perfectly. We had a date night and arrived at 8pm. The restaurant was pretty open yet they put us in the squished booth seats where you are right beside other couples. I do not like that at all. You are up in everyone's conversation. And the fact that they had open seats meant they didn't have to sit us there. The waitress was very knowledgeable and the food was very good. The price point is high for not having your own seating area. I am excited for Lititz to have more options but I'm not sure I'd choose it for date night. read more

Tried this place for the first time this past week. The service was good, food was good and the dessert was delicious. I got their Mac and cheese and chocolate creme brûlée. The only reason I give it four stars is because I think it's more expensive than what it's worth. There are plenty of places to go that don't charge an absurd amount for lunch. Other than that, the place was clean and the staff was friendly. Would go back but probably only for dessert and a drink. read more

It was by far the worst meal I've ever had. I ordered the cod. A completely unseasoned bland over cooked rubbery and dry piece of cod on top of what tasted like a jar of spaghetti sauce and the side of brussel sprouts I ordered weren't roasted. They were warmed up raw brussel sprouts that not even my husband could choke down. And then my husband got the new York strip and his greens had an 8 inch hair running across the top and when we told the wait he removed the hair with tweezers and said let me get this crap out of here and never came back until he asked if we wanted the check. No replacement of the side and offered nothing as any sort of apology. The cod needs to go. read more

Service was very good and the atmosphere was fun! Unfortunately the food was subpar at best. The wood fired pizza tasted more like a thin crust frozen pizza than a $15 artisan pizza. A perfect example of the unfortunate pizza is that the back olives were those bland ones that come straight out of a can rather than the expected kalamata olives that usually grace artisan pizza. Charred carrots as an appetizer were equally disappointing. It's a cool place in a cool little town. Hopefully they will find a new chef or at least find a way to match the atmosphere with decent food. read more

Great food, great atmosphere, a little pricey but your getting what you pay for! Personal favorite is the wings! Hands down the best I've ever had. Make sure to stop in the Wilbur hotel lobby they have a machine pumping out Wilbur chocolate smells! The atmosphere was very cute, great decor.I got the whole grilled fish and it was huge and delicious, and a great price for how much food it was. We went here last night to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The server was nice and attentive. We had the onion dip appetizer. My daughter got the steak and I got the chicken. We had the potatoes and carrots as our sides. Our meals were good but it's very expensive for what you get. All sides are ordered separately, so my $21 chicken was just that nothing else, the carrots were $7 and nothing special. The chocolate mousse was very good. My main issue would be that the seating was not 6 feet away from another group and I saw multiple people walking around and back and forth to the bathroom without a mask. This will quickly become one of our top 5 special places! It is not a start up as posted below. They used to be the foundry in Lebanon. The food was wonderful there and I expected it to be the same and even better at their new location. Atmosphere is awesome! Does not feel like you are in Lititz. I had the mushroom pizza. The flavors of the cheese and mushrooms and charred crust were perfect! Can't wait to go back and try more menu items especially the Wilbur Chocolate creme brulee. Wow, how can a wait staff be this consistently bad. The portions are small and the prices are high. Their ice cream scoop is a melon ball size. Octopus is a half a tentacle. Great place to eat and I have been here many times. Staff is great, food is great, location is great, and place is beautiful inside with nice seating outside. The only reason I don't give them five stars is because it's quite expensive and once when I went with family everything we ordered was way too salty. We did let the server know and she told the chef however. However to anyone looking for a nice restaurant this is one of the best I went to in lititz. The head chef made it a point to stop by our table to check in and took it even further by explaining where the ingredients came from and what made them so special. He even took the time to answer our questions about the food they serve. The Chef de Cuisine makes sure to only source the best of the best, and it shows in their final products. My husband and I have been here twice and both were great experiences. We walked in on their opening night (without realizing it) and sat at one of the cocktail tables in the bar area for a few drinks. The wine was a heavy pour () and his cocktail was good. The next time we walked in for dinner without a reservation on a Friday night and to be expected, they were busy (this is a good thing!) After waiting around for awhile waiting for a table in the bar area to open up, the bar manager noticed us and led us to an area behind the bar that was empty. He immediately made sure our drink orders were taken and got us some food menus as well. It was really nice of him and out of the ordinary in a busy bar environment and truly showed that they wanted to take care of us & make sure we had a good experience. My husband got the steak which was delicious and I had the pasta dish which was also pretty good. Highly recommend for a great experience in Lititz - there's nothing else like it in the area and they will surely do really well here! read more

This made for an excellent evening for a birthday dinner with my SO. We got the shrimp cocktail and oysters as appetizer, and then got both the weekend specials which were a whole grilled chilean sea bass and a "meatstraveganza" as it was referred to on the menu. Everything was delicious although you could've fed 4 or 5 with what we ordered! The fish was cooked excellently and all the meats were perfectly temped and each had a unique delicious flavor that paired very well with the sauces provided. The service was great as well despite a couple hiccups throughout the busy night which were handled professionally and with expedience. I've been dining regularly at Blackworth and have enjoyed every meal I have had. Tonight, I thought they did a fantastic job. The restaurant was busy due to a large event in town. When we arrived we were seated immediately. Even though the restaurant was full we were served drinks quickly while looking at the menu. I usually alternate my meals at the restaurant with their whole fish or steak for my entree. Tonight I decided on New York strip. I ordered it charred and rare on the inside. It came out exactly as ordered. As my appetizer I had the Caesar Salad. People have told me it's the best Caesar Salad in Lancaster County and it did not disappoint. Some friends at the table ordered the whole Dorad fish. OMG, it was incredible. Usually they have the whole Branzino, but tonight Dorad was the fish and it was amazing. Larger, sweeter and meatier than Branzino, they should make this a permanent change. There were 8 of us at our table and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the vibe and energy at the restaurant was wonderful. The pricing of the steak was good, and on the lower side for steak prices in Lancaster County. Oh, and let's not forget about our drinks, they were interesting and delicious. I travel a lot and eat out frequently, Blackworth is killing it and they continue to get better. While they were packed the entire time we were there, we were never rushed, the food was good and so was our service. I give the restaurant 5 stars tonight. They fired on all cylinders. read more

We had an awesome experience at the Blackworth Live Fire Grill. We had a short stay at the Hilton and did not have much time to explore the area restaurants. Upon our arrival, while we waited for our room to be ready, we sat at the bar had a drink and appetizers; Caesar salad and guacamole and chips. Both were very fresh. Our bartender Austin was knowledgeable of the food and beverage menus and provided recommendations which helped us make our selection. Later in the evening, we decided to grab a quick dinner at the bar. Great choice, the bar area was spacious and we enjoyed two great meals. We both had the Flat Iron steak with a BiB salad. Food was served perfectly. We had the pleasure of meeting the Operating Manager who was extremely friendly and continued to check in with us to make sure our meal and experience was okay. This morning we visited the restaurant again for the breakfast buffet. Food was hot, fresh and the options were perfect. The staff was super friendly and accommodated us with seating at the bar where we could work while we enjoyed our breakfast. This restaurant has an awesome set up, the stoneware the food is served on is awesome, the morning music was perfect and relaxing to listen to while eating and working. The staff was fantastic. Thank you Austin, Casey, George and Rebecca for making our meal times fabulous. Both my husband and I will be visiting the area often for work and we will definitely be back and will for sure recommend this restaurant to our co-workers in the area. read more

Tried this place because we were taking a weekend in Lititz and my husband thought it looked good despite high prices. We chose to sit outside which may have been a mistake. Flies attacked my husband the entire meal and there was a stench on and off of garbage. The first table we were seated at was seriously broken so we requested to move and we did. We ordered burgers and fries and an appetizer. The appetizer was good. The overdone burgers came out without fries. We asked the waitress and she just said "they're coming" and went back in. She never offered us more room temp water or checked to make sure the fries were coming. They finally did come, long after we finished our burgers, so we sent them back. The waitress didn't seem concerned other than a quick sorry. For two burnt burgers and a small appetizer and tap water (without ice) with a side of flies (no fries) we paid $50. Would not recommend. read more
