Food wasn't bad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quick service and laid back kind of vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a spot to hit up if your a Jason fan since it's so close to the town filming was done.

This is the diner jason from Friday the 13th was filmed. Great place to visit and sit down and have some good simple diner food.

Just a quiet little old fashion diner with simple good food. Jason love the slasher burger. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Its really a nice cosy place to sit down and have some good food with family and friends enjoy the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Its really a nice country ride to get here Its worth it Plus think about how cool it would be after you watch Friday the 13th with your kids and you bring your girl here or the family and the kids here Dont miss out October is almost here

Greek Omelete

Rode the Dyna out to the Blairstown Diner for Sunday breakfast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Classic expanded diner car. Classic old school diner decor inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As usual, I ordered a Greek Omelette with a side of sausage. Their Greek Omelette features spinach, tomato and feta. Full leaf spinach, large tomato chunks and just the right amount of feta to complement. It was very much like I would make it myself at home which is a good thing. Very fresh. The home fries were very good and perfectly cooked. The sausage links were short, fat and flavorful. Good coffee. Fast and friendly service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The added bonus was that this diner was apparently featured in the background of the original Friday the 13th. movie. Camp Crystal Lake, hockey mask, blood stains decor around the register.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So, it's an added bonus if you are a movie buff. I look forward to my next visit.

The Blairstown Diner was featured in the original Friday the 13th movie in 1979. So if you didn't know it beforehand you definitely will learn that while you visit. There's a life-size cutout of Jason to the right when you enter the front door. But firstly you'll be greeted ever so warmly by the attentive staff members ! Let me just say that on the inside & outside it is so retro cute diner perfection! And they play oldies music so you really feel like you're entering a time warp! I ordered a Greek omelette sandwich and a hot coffee While I was waiting I watched some locals stop in for some food/drink items to go. One fella came in just to get a pumpkin shake! He really recommended it. It's already October after all. That sounded amazing but I had ordered some thing for breakfast so I definitely have to come back for that sassy ol shake. But my food came and it was hot, fresh & delicious. My server Sharon was attentive and topped my coffee. I enjoyed my time here and every way.

Really good milkshake and coffee, [[HIGHLIGHT]]very festive Friday the 13th decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servers were very sweet and attentive.

Well how can you not appreciate a diner that's been in business for over 70 years and has had one of the most famous horror movies of all time filmed there? As soon as you pull into the parking lot and see this restaurant, you know you're entering a classic. The fact that a scene from "Friday the 13th" was filmed there, only adds to the charm. With all that said, the food still needs to be good, and it was! My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The place has been remodeled a little bit since the 1980 movie was filmed there, but it's still basically the same. We each ordered eggs with home fries and bacon. The eggs were cooked to order and the home fries were very good. The diner markets the movie with t shirts and souvenirs for sale, along with a big cutout poster of Jason. It's just a fun atmosphere and the wait staff was friendly. It's definitely worth stopping by for a meal and a bit of nostalgia, especially if you liked the movie!

Extremely busy on a Friday the 13th with all of the Friday the 13th fans visiting this diner used in the original movie. Even with the line out the door, the employees were so friendly. Slasher Burger was good and fries are what you expect from an old school diner. Super clean and lots of Friday the 13th signs/decorations around.

Ask the Community - Blairstown Diner

I've heard the Blairstown diner has done renovations and is under new ownership. We are making the trip soon, a road trip through weird NJ and wanted to hit the Friday 13th hot spots!! Has anyone been there recently?

I really don't know about that but the diner looks like it hasn't been renovated in years, but it doesn't make it a bad place pretty cool place to go to and I hope to keep it this way…

They are multiple display cases, fully stocked with a variety of cakes, cookies, donuts, specialty pastries, and more. They have a couple of cake displays, for the full-size, mini-size, and the slices as well. They also do specialty cakes and special order catering too. Their Deli has plenty of side dishes to choose from...especially great if you are going somewhere and you don't want to make anything...let the folks at Giancarlos save the day. To my surprise, they also make pizza pies and to include sell by the slice too !! Ordered two breakfast sandwiches (1x HEC & 1x BEC), both were filling and delicious. The French bread was fresh and soft. We bought the small red velvet cake today, but look forward to returning and try the lemon cake.

It was such a beautiful night, my parents and I came and we each got our own pizza. Pizza came out in maybe 15 minutes, we sat and waited and just chilled. It was a beautiful night. I am so appreciative that Windy Brow has a vegan cheese option, so I could be included! I got the Margherita pizza and subbed vegan cheese. The crust and dough were incredible - so fluffy, perfectly crispy, amazing thick crust. The vegan cheese was also great, and the sauce too. Just a perfect pizza. My dad got a regular Margherita and loved it, and my mom got the fungi pizza with mushrooms and was raving about it. My boyfriend got the pig and fig and (of course) loved it as well. We all raved to each other about how amazing everything was. For a farm to do something like this when they don't need to, shows that they love what they do! You can really feel the love in the pizza. We then got ice cream after since the ice cream stand was still open. I got the vegan dark chocolate sea salt (literally incredible, perfect consistency, I love hard ice cream so this was amazing), my boyfriend got Madagascar vanilla and said it was a perfect classic vanilla, my dad said the cherry vanilla was the best he's ever had, and my mom who doesn't love ice cream got the lemon blueberry butter cake and was raving about it. Phenomenal job!!!!! So appreciative to live near a spot like this. Blessings!

Let me back up for a moment. To start I thought it was going to be a cool meal and place to sit. Usually Main Street you have indoor/ outdoor seating. They have a cooler for soda, which is double the price you can get from the convenience store Dales 25 yards away. The prices are outrageous. I did not even order because the rudeness, the cleanliness, and the prices. $20+ for a sandwich on bread. These are not subs, they are smaller than my mom made for school. I understand though.
