I checked this place out on Sunday afternoon. It was super busy, luckily we walked in with perfect timing and didn't have to wait too long. I timed the line, just to see if this place was worth the time to come during a lunch break and it took 10 minutes to order and pay; this did not include the time to cook. It states it only takes 180 sec to cook the pizza, which is awesome, but not if it's busy. Overall, it takes about 20 to get your food. If you want to come for lunch or dinner, I recommend to order ahead! A personalized pizza with whatever toppings you want is $8!!! Wow! I loved the taste of my pizza......some issues, although it's busy, I do expect a level of cleanliness when taking my family to dine in, and the tables, floors, and condiment area had food crumbs everywhere!!! Not good for small kids. Also, so sad but I found a dead baby roach in the bathroom, ew! And finally I asked the employees cooking the pizzas what kind of stove they were using and they had no idea, lol....I was hoping it would be a wood fire oven, but it's not. read more

First time here and It was great! We had the Art Lover pizza . It's a delicious artichoke and ricotta pizza.

Pretty easy ordering, fast service, lemonade was on point and their BBQ chicken pizza was perfect. Recommend to anyone!

Double-charged (online and in store) and I spent weeks following up to get the issue corrected. I called daily, left messages (no response), emailed the company, went in and talked to a district manager (Rodger) only to have to send him the same information multiple times via text and email and wait weeks for a refund. Previously, we were very happy with them, but their customer service (management-wise) is lacking for sure. I had a two topping pizza, double pepperoni. Wasn't expecting much but it was great and so quick. The prices are extremely reasonable. The build your own salads are as well. Finally! Reasonable prices. Bonus was having the guy behind me tell the cashier he just wanted a taste because of something to do with his daughter coming to visit and he kept saying he just wanted a taste and would come back and pay later. Save your money and go to Dions. For the same price, you can get a small personal pizza (aka same size) as here. The toppings were sparse and the dough was not fully cooked. Well, it was fully fully (black) on the bottom, but the top of the dough that meets the sauce and toppings was underdone. This is the best thin crust pizza in Albuquerque, the crust is crispy without being dry and all toppings are fresh. You can choose from several different salads or build your own...Staff is friendly and courteous. Service does not stop when you order: even though this is not a "restaurant" staff will make rounds to ask if there's anything else you need and/or to throw/take away anything from your table that you are no longer needing. There is nothing really spectacular about this place. OK food. It's served relatively fast. You go through a cafeteria style line to build your pizza then it bakes in just a few minutes. Place is probably good for families eating on a budget because it's very reasonably priced. Just don't expect any spectacular fare. read more

Another win for the gluten-sensitive folks out there. They make a couple efforts to minimize cross-contamination such as changing gloves and using a fresh pizza cutter. It was roughly $10 (give or take a couple) for a 12-inch gluten-free pizza, which is a pretty decent price (most places give you a 10-inch or smaller for about the same or higher price). We enjoyed both the green stripe special and the pepperoni/green chile (the chile was GOOD). The staff was friendly and the service was fairly quick on a weekend afternoon. They add a few toppings after baking the pizza (e.g. pesto drizzle so it doesn't make the pizza soggy and spinach so the leaves don't shrivel in the oven), and we had to bring our pizza back up a couple times and remind them to add these things. Easy enough fix. We'd definitely visit again! read more

Really cannot complain about paying $6 for a darn good personal pizza. Totally worth it. Workers are always nice and pizza is always good. The only thing that bugs me is I never get asked if I want one of the finishes. I always get pesto drizzle and it's a little frustrating that I have to hand the pizza back every time to get the pesto because the pizza is boxed up immediately and handed to me without offering a finish. read more

When this Blaze first opened, they were fantastic. Loved it. Not sure what has happened since then, but they are so inefficient, so slow, so unorganized and there appears to be no leadership. We went last night with a group of 8 and were not allowed to sit outside. They had all the tables and chairs chained up. It was cold and loud and and took forever to get our pizzas. The Coronado location rocks! They know how to get a pizza out in a timely manner, even when it's packed, and they taste better. I've ordered lots of pizzas at Blaze with the spicy sauce and last night's was too spicy. We go out to eat with this group often. The pizza is ok and they are relatively fast. DO NOT CALL IN YOUR ORDERS! Blazes uses a non local call center and the manager told me that they don't even have a phone in the store. After being on hold for a good 10 minutes the operator hung up on me after I had given all of my credit card information. I called back and the next guy puts me on hold for 15 minutes because they can't confirm the order. He said they would call the store and check on the order, but see above, there isn't a phone, so they call the manager? They continued to leave me on hold so I went to the store and their tablet that tracks online orders is dead and has to charge, but they do begin making the order which has been 40 minutes in the making. So another 20 minutes later the manager can't find my order, if there ever was one, I don't know, I will have to check my statement, but he does get my order and doesn't charge anything, that I know of. I wasn't impressed with the quality either. Go to Dion's if you have to wait an hour, Scarpas is better too! How hard is it to confirm an order?! read more

My family and I stopped in to check it out. It's nice inside new and fresh a bit loud overall. The young man who started us off was quite rude about the ordering process I mean they have been open a week like we are supposed to know... he asked us about our order but then rudely cut my husband off saying essentially save it for the other 15 people on the pizza line. Lots of people working on this pizza line all of them nice but hard to hear over the music and yelling of names of persons whose order is ready. Pizzas were not anything special. Spicy red sauce was bland as was the sausage very skimpy toppings and nothing really new or interesting. 3 different beer options which was cool. Given the amazing pizza places we have here in town like locally built restaurants Slice Parlor, Scarpas, Dions. I did not feel like my 30 bucks for a family meal is going to be spent here. The pizza tastes amazing, which is really my number one concern when eating out. I'm not generally a crust fan, but I devoured it, both times I've been here. I love that you can get as many topping as you want for a reasonable price and the cheese is both plentiful and great quality. But even better than the food, the customer service is always top-notch. This is a two part review - the first part deals with the service, the second part with the food. Service - when we arrived there were only 2 other customers in the place and this being our first time were unsure of how the system worked. It also appeared to be the young lady that was taking orders first time as well. There was little to no explanation if the system, what was available, etc. When I asked if they had a list of available toppings, as they weren't on the menu board, the reply was "We have those toppings..." pointing down the counter. We finally got the order figured out and proceeded down the line waiting to make our pizzas....and waited....and waited....and waited... it seems there were no crusts ready but there were staff in the back apparently not engaged in work. By this time there were several more customers in line and so on and so on. Finally got our pizzas assembled and off to the oven, now to find some where to sit....another challenge as a good number of the tables were dirty.....remember the part about there only being 2 customers were in the dining room? It seems there was enough staff to have the prep work (crusts made, etc.) and have the dining room cleaned. Food - the food was quite tasty. My wife got a regular crust, standard sauce, pepperoni, kalmata olives and artichoke hearts. I had standard crust, spicy sauce, Italian sausage, Canadian bacon, regular bacon, and green chile. The crust was thin and crispy, sauce flavorful and the meats of good quality. The pizzas are cooked in a fired oven which gives the crust little charred bits for extra flavor and little blisters for that crispiness. My friend and I have been to this Blaze a ton of times and normally we get good service and good food. Today made us both decide that we are not going to come here for awhile. There was no one in line yet it took 15 to get our order placed. No one knew what they were supposed to be doing, we would start getting help and that person would just stop and someone else would be like "what were you needing". In the start I told them I wanted a size Caesar salad they didn't make it right then like they normally do but I thought I would just get it at the check out. When we finally got to check out I still didn't get my salad but decided to wait until I got my pizza and hoped they would give it to me. When they called me up they did not have my salad or my friends dough knots. I asked them for it and he was like uhh the dough knots are not ready and yelled down the line for someone to get me a Caesar salad. The other guy was sweeping and asked me what salad I wanted even though a few seconds earlier he was just told but I told him nicely again and he just kept sweeping. When he was down sweeping he walked to the salad area and asked me again what kind of salad. Then when my friends dough knots were ready like 5 minutes later (30 min into the visit) there were only 2 knots he told them it was supposed to be 4 (which is what the menu says and online says) and they told him no just two with the take two. At this point he was not in the mood and just accepted the two. Not only way this service horrible but my pizza was burnt on one side and under cooked on the other. If this is the way they run business now it is no shock to me they were dead at 12:30 in a business area because I will not be going there again. read more

I have food allergies (wheat, dairy & peanuts) and I had been to a Blaze in another city with success so I was excited to try it again. I asked for a gluten-free crust, a glove change, and I told them about the severity of my allergies, but when I began eating my pizza I had an allergic reaction. I can only guess that my pizza came in contact with wheat ingredients in the oven. So, if you have allergies or celiac please use caution.... cross-contamination is a real concern here.
