I went to an urgent care and a blaze pizza today. Guess which place I waited longer? I was the only person in line at 1135am on a Weds and my takeout pizza took 45 minutes. There were ~12 online orders ahead of me, with the latest online order at 1142am. 25 mins just standing first in line as they tended to online orders. 3 workers on hand all working hard but overwhelmed due to one late employee but even 4 workers isn't enough to manage the line that gathered afterwards. I've tried this place 3 times and I can give a good review about my experience. The very first time I tried this place, I ordered 2 pizzas and they were FANTASTIC. I was thinking to myself, why I've never tried this place, it has great ingredients, toppings, and the taste was gourmet. I signed up for the rewards club with my first order. The 2nd order I was offered $5 off for being a rewards member. So I ordered the exact same 2 pizzas as my first order again. But this time, everything was different. Pizza was really thin, burnt, toppings were not as generous. It felt like I ordered from a completely different place compared to the first time. I wrote back to a survey they sent me and told them about the problem. I tried them for a 3rd time and this 3rd time was the absolute worse. Very similar to the 2nd pizza order, both pizzas completely burnt this time around. They covered the entire pizza with so much sauce, I could've added a pound of pasta to it and use it as pasta sauce. To make matters worse, one pizza had a giant hole in it, I'm not sure how they were OK with letting a pizza go out with a giant hole in it. It was absolutely awful. Burnt pizza and full of sauce, it was inedible. I threw both pizzas away. Absolutely no quality control at this place. Horrible experience 2 out of 3 times! read more

Watch out Blaze Pizza, this guy "Kyle" is out here to destroy your business. We've been coming to this Blaze Pizza very often since it opened its door in our neighborhood. We love the food there and find the staff very friendly most of the time. They would say "sorry for the wait" if we couldn't pick up our order right away, and they'd say thank you and goodbye when we left, giving a vibe of family business. But all that good feeling got flushed down the drain today, 3/19/22, thanks to this so-called manager KYLE, if it was his real name! It all begins with the extremely confusing reward system of Blaze Pizza. Even though the app says we can redeem rewards online, we can never figure out how to do it when we place an pickup order through the app. So in the past we would redeem the rewards when we picked up the order. The staff would scan the redeem code and then have us stand aside. In a few minutes, the redeemed item (cheesy bread) would be ready to go with our order. We did it for quite a few times, never had any problem, and no one ever told us it should be done any other way. This evening when we came in to pick up and asked to redeem, this guy, who claimed to be the manager, insisted to send us back to the end of the line and place an order for the cheesy bread, even though our pickup order was already done. When we told him that's not how it was done in the past ten times, he replied in an ever-so-authoritative tone "They did it wrong the last ten times!". That attitude really pissed us off. If we got in line for that cheesy bread (which takes 2 minutes to heat up), our pickup order would be all cold when it's finally our turn. We ended up not redeeming anything and left with a stinky taste in our mouth, the first time we had ever felt with Blaze Pizza, and it is very likely to be the last time! Just before we took off, we asked this "manager" for his name, he said "It's gotta be Kyle". Who would answer like that? Apparently he has no clue what the heck he was doing, with the store or with his own name! This is more evident when we came home and found that a few toppings we ordered were missing! GOOD JOD KYLE! Unless Blaze Pizza fixes the online redeem system and ups the standard for the store staff, we won't come back and certainly will not recommend to anyone. read more

Worst experience ever, ever! I ordered online n picked up pizza at this location, they put all online orders on a rack with no monitor, I waited for more than 20 mins in the store n still didn't see my order, so I asked, n the staff said that my pizza was ready long time ago but I didn't see it on the rack, obviously someone stole it or took it by mistake. I asked so what now? Nobody responded n I stood at the counter asking if anyone can take care of it. All staffs' attitude was like they don't care n two pizza guys by the stove even just shook their shoulder, the rest just ignored me and helping the customers in line. Eventually a fat female staff came over with a pissed off face, checking the receipts and saying the pizza has already been picked up. I said I'm here waiting n I didn't pick up the pizza, then she said she can make me another one but her attitude was really bad, nobody apologized to me or anything, treating me like I'm the trouble maker asking for a pizza that's already been picked up. So I said I dun wanna wait, can I hv a refund? She said she can't refund to me, because I ordered via the app n only the manager can refund n the manager is not available. This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard, I questioned, so you guys lost the pizza, I dun hv time to wait for the pizza, and I can't get my refund?! More ridiculously that she said I had to go in person the next day in order the get the refund. So I said ok then make me the pizza, it will waste me more time to come again the next day to get the refund. Know what, more ridiculously thing happened, that staff said I talked mean to her so she refused to make me another pizza! I said this is not right, the staff refused the service n refused to return my money, so I called the police. Unfortunately police would not deal with it and asked me to report to some sort of consumer department. I will never go to this blaze pizza shop again, and I deleted their app. I'm suggesting everyone not to order via their app in case accident happens. My brother had the same experience when he ordered via the app n when he picked up the pizza at this same location, the place was running out of power they couldn't refund to my brother too, asking him to go in person again the next day for refund or a pizza. Long story short, even if you place an order 2 hours ahead, you still won't get your pizza on time. Had a super long day at work, and had to go to Costco to get some brewskies for this weekends camping trip. (Now I hella regret not just getting a few Costco pizza slices.) After going to Costco I had to bust a trip across the valley to make it to trivia night at Mt Lowe Brewery. I tried to place an online order at 6:55 for ASAP pick up but it was a 50 min wait for a 7:45-7:50 pick up. Obviously, I couldn't be late to trivia so I decided to place a pick-up order for 9:15 after trivia. I placed my order at 6:58pm for a 9:15 pick up. After a a few brewskies and a lit trivia night (even though we only got 1 point), I made my way to Blaze, getting there at 9:15pm on the dot with the mad munchies expecting my pizza to be ready. I got to the door but it was locked. When I tried to open the door to get my pick up, one of the pizza makers started shaking his head and arms like some mad man indicating for me to not to go in.. but I have already paid and placed my order. Eventually another worked came up, unlocked the door and let me in. It was after 9:15 so I walked up the the pick up area, but there was no pizza ready.. there wasn't even a single pizza in the oven. There were also several people who were also inside ahead of me waiting for their pizzas for an online order. But the workers were just standing there looking pretty and not making pizzas. Not sure if it's just poor work ethics or some type of application glitch (too many order as they claimed). Not only is it weird for a pizza man to be waving his limbs like a mad man, it is also a fire hazard locking all the doors with customers inside waiting for their online orders. It is 9:35 now and I am just sitting in the car writing this unfortunate review while I wait for my pizza. Came in on a Sunday afternoon at 1:45pm and there was a huge wait, but the lead(?) was so nice and mindful, she made sure to let us know there would be a long wait. We of course stayed in line, but it went by quicker than anticipated given the HUGE stack of online orders they had in the queue waiting to be made already. We get mixed sauces on our pizzas, and they were spread on perfectly. All the toppings were placed nicely and not just thrown on there like all the other blaze locations we have been to in the past. At the end, the woman who does the drizzles was very nice and pointed out the crust was a little crispy because of the pesto I asked for to be on the crust. Quality control is top notch! I ordered a one-topping pizza with no cheese and Arrabiata sauce with pepperoni doused in oregano. Always wash your hands while you wait, the restroom is for hand-washing. A bit overpriced but a burger at $6 will not fill you; this does. An extra star for the ingenious location so this place averages between five and six stars. Never been to Blaze Pizza but the moment I started ordering they displayed an immense amount of attitude. I didn't even say anything yet and they say, "What do you want?" For the longest time the Pasadena location on Colorado was my closest Blazed Pizza. It was hard to go out there since it was a bit out of way even though I love their pizzas. So happy this Arcadia location popped up and I didn't know actually til they send me BOGO coupons in the mail. I would still come back without coupons because I love their pizzas. Now they also have the options of Keto and Cauliflower crusts as well. I always get their regular 11" thin crusts and pile on my toppings with BBQ sauce as base. Many toppings and ingredients to choose from even for the pickiest eater! I'm not sure what the issue may be, but in my previous 3 online order experiences: the orders were always missing one or two ingredients that are crucial to the integrity of my pizza... I even stated EXTRA ricotta, but received none. It may be my fault that I did not check the pizza before taking it to go, but I shouldn't need to. I just got to update my review on this place for their service. Yes, they were understaffed. But they've powered through it with such professionalism. Not one worker gave attitude to any customers which was extremely pleasant to see. Covid times are hard, they have multiple orders via online and at the same time have to deal with walk-in customers as well. But not once did I hear any workers complain. Whatever this location is doing, keep it up. If it's the workers or management, awesome job. The food is great as usual. No complaints there. I love this place! I honestly can't understand why the reviews here are only 3 stars... I live in Pasadena and I try to stop here every time I'm in the area rather than go to the Pasadena location (which bizarrely has a higher review than this location). This location is always clean and staff is pretty nice. And unlike the Pasadena location, this one always has all the toppings you expect from a Blaze (unlike the Pasadena location which runs out of pepperoni hours before closing and never has salami which is my favorite topping). Parking is also pretty easy. If you've never tried this spot, give it a shot! You won't regret it! read more
