Bonchon is…read morethe brand that introduced Korean-style seasoned fried chicken to the world before Koreans themselves could enjoy it locally. With over 400 locations across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, Bonchon has become a true global icon of the K‑Food wave. Their ultra‑crispy double‑fried chicken paired with Yangnyeom, Soy Garlic, and Korean Spicy sauces has set the worldwide standard for what K‑chicken should taste like. At the Bonchon San Gabriel location in Los Angeles, they're currently running a $1 Wing Promotion -- up to 15 wings per person for just $1 each. So I tried all three sauces: Yangnyeom, Soy Garlic, and Korean Spicy -- 15 pieces each, total 45 wings, plus three Korean-style sides: Sotteok Sotteok, Kkwabaegi, and Sweet Potato Honey Chips. Yangnyeom Wings -- perfect sweet-savory balance with impressive crispiness Soy Garlic Wings -- the classic nutty, savory flavor you can't stop eating Korean Spicy Wings -- bold, peppery heat with deep umami; a must for spice lovers Three Korean Sides ; Sotteok Sotteok -- chewy rice cakes + snappy sausage, the perfect bite between wings Kkwabaegi -- crispy outside, soft inside; a nostalgic Korean-style donut Sweet Potato Honey Chips -- sweet, crunchy, and the perfect palate reset for spicy wings Bonchon Announcement (San Gabriel + Nationwide) San Gabriel $1 Wing Promotion : Up to 15 wings per person, $1 each Nationwide Korean Crunch Seasonal Menu (~7/14) ; Pork Cheese Katsu Sandwich / Katsu Bowl K‑Chicken Sandwich Korean Cucumber Salad Seasonal menu available at participating locations nationwide

I ordered 8 Spicy and 7 Crispy and a Diet Coke free refills on sodas. But not Beer hahaha Poor Kent! The Spicy Wings were great tasting these were good sized wings not the little shits like KFC. Just the right amount of spicy flavor but I love spicy so a little more Heat please, the crispy were good too. But next time all Spicy for me! Staff and service was great!!

I always love soy garlic and its a generous portion. The meat is white and dark so pretty tender and not dry. Lemme tell you, i dont usually eat all my fries but these were AMAZING! Boneless came out faster than bone in but still quick. My friend got lemon pepper and sweet chili wings. The lemon pepper looked GOOD! I wont deny the place looked a bit empty and kinda run down but everything was clean including the bathrooms. Id definitely come back i felt it was reasonable.

They're so good that I'm willing to make the trip down to MPK from Walnut just to get their wings! Not a large store but they do have a few tables if you decide to eat there. Best to eat them fresh and hot if you have a chance. We typically get a combo meal which comes with fries, radish or cole slaw, and a drink. Their lemon pepper chicken wings are my favorite of all Korean fried chicken places. So glad his location is still somewhat close to me.

What's even crazier is that I've been a diehard bone-in/traditional wings believer, but bb.q Chicken's boneless wings converted me to the dark side. In fact, I will shamelessly admit that I only ever order their boneless wings here after having tried them. Unlike other places' boneless wings, which use dry white meat (an absolute abomination IMHO), bb.q Chicken uses actual dark meat and are actual "boneless wings." The Cheesling flavor is to die for. Get the limited time Buldak Cheesling flavor for a special spicy kick. If you want an alcoholic drink with your chicken, I suggest sticking with beer or bottled soju. Their soju cocktails are pretty weak and have a strange pre-mixed flavor to them.

The name is peculiar for what they serve but it's very easy to remember. Come to find out bb.q stands for " best of the best quality". I usually order takeout, and have never dined in. I love how sturdy the packaging is, it comes neatly packed in cute cardboard boxes. The food is always consistent, and I have never had a bad experience. My go to flavors are: Spicy original-- crispy crunchy with a hint of spice Cheesling--- A dry rub nicely dusted with their house cheese powder and a hint of sweetness. Gangnam style-- Wet seasoning with a savory and sweet soy forward taste, with a strong pepper flavor. You'll also get pickeled radish cubes, which provides a refreshing compliment to the strong flavors of the chicken. This place never disappoints.
