Came here for the first time for the never-ending pasta bowl, and it was a great experience! Haven't been to an Olive Garden in over a decade. I was surprised to see them so busy with a 35 min wait for a party of 2. Fairly nice in there with lots of seating. Service was average, I think they are spread thin since paying and ordering apps is through the tablet on your table. But food came out quickly. Overall the food was WAY TOO SALTY but I guess that's well known. The breadsticks and the mozzarella sticks were great. The entrees, both the chicken Marsala and the tour of Italy was very bland and salty at the same time. The only flavor was salt. The soups were only average, felt like canned soup. The tour of Italy dish was supposed to come with lasagna but they were out so they replaced it with a ravioli in meat sauce. It was inedible; no clue what was in there. The pasta was also overcooked. I think if I were to go back I'd just get the breadsticks, salad, and apps. Also disappointed that the breadsticks you get with your entree do NOT come with marinara. There's just something about Olive Garden's Zuppa Toscana that makes it my ultimate comfort-food go-to. I love grabbing a half gallon or gallon to take home, especially when I'm craving something warm, hearty, and reliably delicious. The savory broth, tender potatoes, sausage, and kale hit every time--it's filling without being heavy and always tastes like it was made with care. My only complaint? The breadsticks situation. When you dine in, they're unlimited... but when you take soup home, suddenly you have to buy breadsticks separately. I mean, if I'm committing to a gallon of soup, the breadsticks should come free--at least a dozen. That combo is non-negotiable. I went to Olive Garden last Monday for the all you can eat soup, salads, and pasta. The waiter time was decently fast and we get to sit in the upstairs location. Our server, who was also the manager was very attentive, kept asking us if we needed anything else, and kept brining us bread, which is fantastic service. Pasta did take awhile to get out though, so we basically ended up full from sitting there and eating bread and ended up only getting one order of pasta. Overall a very decent experience. Came to celebrate a birthday and really wanted some soup and salad!! We only waited a few minutes given it was Wednesday night, we ordered drinks and a calamari appetizer to start. We got to sit near the back which was more intimate and a little darker than the other rooms. We noticed they had lighter options on the menu which works out since I plan to have lots of endless gnocchi soup! The calamari was just as good and crispy, love their spicy sauce that comes with it. The bread was warm and glad they gave us another basket when the salad and soups came. We get to dip fresh bread into the soups. Terrible! We came here for a special dinner during a difficult time for our family. We had 7 people total. 5 adults and 2 kids. They tried to squeeze us into a table for 4 with a chair at the edge. We said um this isnt going to fit. So they had us go back to the lobby to wait for a different table. They then brought us up to a booth that fits 6 people which still won't fit 7 and we saw open round tables and asked to move there. Mind you we had an elderly with a health condition and they have us moving table to table which was not easy. This was already a bad start. They finally agreed to let us sit at the round table that actually fit 7 people. The hot water came out warm. The scampi pasta was more of a chunky tomatoes with asparagus and not garlic or scampi like at all and the pasta was mushy. We asked for olive oil and balsamic vinegar and they gave us bottles that was nearly empty with a few drops left and said thats all they had. Really? Out of the entire restaurant? When we first walked in, the hostess wasn't as welcome as the rest of the service was. But to be honest, the rest of my experience was great. Our server Beatriz was great. She was on top of everything, and never forgot about us. I got the stuffed chicken marsala, and it was good. It wasn't anything special but I enjoyed it. The calamari was not bad, I'm used to getting very rubbery calamari from other places. But it was actually pretty good here at olive gardens. I think the thing I enjoyed the most was the salad! This review is regarding their never ending pasta bowl deal. Standouts of this deal included the spaghetti with meat sauce (plenty of meat in this sauce), the meatball topping (meatball is tender), the crispy chicken fritta topping (very crispy on outside), the zuppa toscana soup (soup with decent flavor and tasty sausages), and the breadsticks (good flavor). The weak points of this deal were the alfredo sauce (very bland) and minestrone soup (too many beans in this soup and the beans were not that flavorful). Service was amazing. Our waiter was professional, frequently checked in with us, and brought food/refills very promptly. No one expects to be mind blown by the pasta here but being able to have AYCE pasta at around $15 is too good of a deal to turn down and the service is amazing. read more

After having a pretty good meal but pricey meal, I walked out at closing and just as the door closed, I realized I'd forgotten my to go drink. Door was locked, but the employees had seen me leave. But instead of letting me back in, they just stood at the counter. I motioned indicating I'd like to come back in and they motioned they were closed. I mimed and said I'd forgotten something and they just looked at me laughing and work amusement. Finally, one of them went to get the manager. And they just stood there looking at me and smiling and chatting at the register. Truly this became annoying as a few of their folks came walked by, joined in the laughing conversation--hopefully not at me waiting-- and one waitress finally seeing all them went back and didn't return until she'd come with the manager. By this time I was pissed, it was way longer than it needed to be. I honestly do not know why an employee can not be empowered enough to open a door to a customer they watched walked out the door. Truly a black eye on the experience and I feel the need to reach out to their corporate office at what I hope is a one time really ungracious experience. I got that new spicy steak and shrimp option. It was meh. Also got the seafood which was good. My main concern though was the service. Waiter disappeared after we paid (we were still waiting on dessert which was partially wrong). There was a soup we really liked and when we asked for more, the second batch didn't look the same at all--it looked like some of the soup we requested + another soup we had also ordered. It made me worried we were given like a leftover and something not fresh like maybe someone else's table who had mixed soups together. So I don't know if this waiter didn't like us or something and gave us weird stuff. The manager-type was also reaching out to tables just to be friendly (?) And he talked with us about stuff (like his job before at OG Glendale) and our waiter saw, hope he didn't think we were complaining or anything and proceeded to snub us. I used to clown Olive Garden for being fake Italian. However, this is besides the point. This place is great for a carb load if you ever need it. The unlimited soup, salad, & breadsticks is pure carb and nutrition.
